First, the positives. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the bed was very good, we appreciated the sofa in the room.
Next, the negatives. The property is old and dated looking. It is the type that the doors open onto the parking lot. The room was just adequate. The door to the bathroom had an issue with the handle and I thought I might get stuck in it. There was an issue with the door hinge going in, but my husband put that back into place. The breakfast was meh - one waffle maker (there was a line to make waffles), watery eggs, cereal, some mandarin oranges. The coffee was undrinkable.
I feel bad writing this review because the manager of the hotel was trying so hard to greet people, make conversation and I really hope he is able to make a successful operation here.
