Loved the property and the staff. Michael and Earl the managers were extremely helpful . The hotel was convenient to everything with a view of the lighthouse and the ocean. There is a reef just off the beach which was great to snorkel at both bars were great the food in the dining room was good and the pool food was good . A short walk to shopping or additional restaurants

The Harbour Lodge was an awesome place to stay. Our room was super cute and cozy. The A/C worked great, the ocean was close, the restaurant had large portions of good food, and the bar was handy right next to the beach.

Ideal location
Centrally located. A walk across the street from the ferry. Good food and drinks; breakfast, lunch or dinner. Helpful staff. All around pleasant experience.

Great location, amazing service, too expensive
Charming hotel in ideal location. Too expensive for what it was. The room was pretty noisy every night (not super insulated so you can hear the neighbors talking even at low voices) and the aircon was loud. The bed was fine but the pillows weren’t the best. The staff was the best part of the place - they were all SUPER friendly. The lunch area, the pool area, and their beach were fantastic. One of the best snorkeling spots is right off the hotel. Their dinner restaurant was really expensive and the food was just ok. I’d def stay here during one of the less expensive time periods. We paid $250 for the main hotel and it was too much.

Fabulous....Staff ALWAYS went above and beyond!
My stay here was fabulous! The staff perpetually went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate my every need/request. I'd lost my cell phone and required help in order to regain online access to my work laptop -the staff constantly helped to resolve my issue. The restaurant & housekeeping staff were equally wonderful. The food/drinks at the pool bar were excellent and indoor restaurant was lovely, nice atmosphere & very good menu. The HTHL is the "only" place I'll ever stay (when I don't stay w/my family there).

Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, and the fridge was bigger than expected. They provided 2 free bottles of water per day which was a nice touch. The room was a bit tight but overall very good. Loved the balcony for morning coffee. Lots of steps to get up to the room but the view was worth it. AC worked great! Location was perfect- right on the beach and in town. Nothing negative to say really except the Wifi is a bit spotty and there is no safe in the room, but they are working on both. I would definitely recommend this property to others. We went during the end of the off season, so it was very quiet, and the value was amazing!

We have been here before and love it, especially in the off season. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Very quiet this time of year and a lot of the the shops are not open. But still love the food and snorkeling.

The star of this property is really the location. The beachfront is beautiful, with a live reef only 100' off shore. Also, from the Lodge you can catch the ferry to other islands, or walk into the quaint town of Hope Town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This was the slow period, so some restaurants on the island were closed. But dinner at the Lodge was always great! (Room for improvement for breakfast by the pool.) Thanks for making my birthday great! Will be back soon!!!

Nice property with pool deck and bar/restaurant overlooking the ocean. This visit was in the off-season so the place was barely booked. I had the entire beach to myself for the day - like my own private beach as far as you could see north/south. Other than the location and the views, the other highlight about this place is the staff. I dare you to find a more friendly, courteous and helpful staff anywhere in the Out Islands.

Location is perfect. All of the shopping and things to do in Hope Town are located in short walking distance. Easy access from the ferry from Marsh Harbor. Great breakfast spot overlooking the beach - and mimosas!

We had a wonderful time in Hopetown! We totally recommend this hotel. All of the staff were very helpful and personable. Can't wait to go back. We will not be there on a Tuesday night because of karaoke, a little too loud and late for us, but it did look like they were having fun!

The location is great! The views are beautiful, and the hotel has an ocean front beach with reefs for snorkeling. It's within easy walking distance to stores and eateries in the town. Our room was clean and comfortable, with free secure WiFi and a well-functioning air conditioner. Our room had a small refrigerator, a good flat-screen TV with lots of channels, and an alarm clock with a USB port for charging phones, etc. There's also a coffee maker, and we drank our coffee on the little balcony every morning before going to the beach for a pre-breakfast swim. The hotel's food is good, too. We ate breakfast by the pool every day and had dinner at Ray's Place Restaurant twice. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return in the future!

The hotel is quaint and the rooms are a little small and dated. The restaurant is pretty good and the beach is lovely. Hopetown is a little off the beaten track and groceries were somewhat hard to come by. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Charming Abacos visit
The Lodge sits atop a ridge with views of the ocean and harbor. The saltwater pool is lovely and the beach beautiful. Great beach for walking, swimming and snorkeling. The pool bar is laid back with great views and a friendly bartender (Gary). Enjoyed the food both at poolside and in the Restaurant. Seafood dishes were fresh and tasty. The Chef prepared a Lobster Thermidor for us that was delicious and the service was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and compact. We rented a golf cart for the week which was wonderful to get us to other dining spots and for exploring the island.

Tropical paradise at affordable price
WE had 4 wonderful days at the Hopetown Lodge, staying in the Main Bldg. If you are looking for luxury, pay the price and stay in one of the updated cottages. But if you are on a budget, these rooms in Main bldg. are just fine. The baths definitely could use an update. The staff are wonderful, including Gary at the Beach bar, Adrian in Ray's place and the lovely woman who is at the desk in a.m. The beach is so beautiful and we enjoyed daily breakfast overlooking it at the pool restaurant. Cannot wait to go back.

Loved it!
We absolutely loved our time at the Hope Town Harbour Lodge!! Can't wait to go back. The island was so quaint, the people so friendly and the scenery was just beautiful! I think next time we would choose to stay in one of the cottages as the room/bathroom/shower very small. But, we will definitely return.

Beautiful Historic Hotel
Terrific in every way - only reason for less than a perfect score was a little musty smell when you first walk in the room. But that cleared when we opened the slider.

Beach was great
Many stairs. Beautiful beach on one side and lovely lighthouse bay on the other side. Small rooms but charming. Good food. Rooms are small & need minor repairs. A bargain regardless

On the ocean and the beach. Wonderful
We’ve stayed with the lodge before and always enjoy our stay. The location and staff can’t be beat. This is the first time that we stayed in the main inn and the rooms were smaller. They could use a few simple updates for more comfort but overall another great visit.

Great hotel complex on the beach
I went to Hope Town to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the island. I was truly enriched. The hotel is right in the town and surrounded by the amenities on the island; everything is within walking distance. Earle Bethel and his staff were the greatest and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying at the Harbour Lodge.

This is a wonderful place to stay, staff was friendly, place was beautiful. My only suggestion is upgrading the bathrooms, if possible, make a little bigger.
