Close to beach but dirty sheets. Expected a lot more but had to settle for what we got. Will stay at different location next time. A renovation is needed to make it more appealing for the clientele to want to come back.

As far as location goes it’s perfect. Just know that it’s an old place and don’t expect too much. There was a jacuzzi in the living room and it worked well. Which is good because I wouldn’t step foot in the shower. Take the bad with the good.

Quaint but old
Older accommodations. No frills. Jacuzzi in living room area sheer blinds = no privacy. In desperate need of a remodel. Staff were friendly but are available from 10am to 7pm only.

Close to beach. Carpets could use an upgrade or a really good shampooing. Screens on sliding door to keep sand and bugs out. Otherwise a good place to stay and convenient.

Close to the beach
We have stayed here several times and find it very comfortable, friendly and clean. No ocean views but they like our dog and the price is right. The staff is very helpful and will try to accommodate reasonable requests.

Review of the Weatherly Suites, Ocean Shores - 2 S
Throughout 55 years of my life, and a multi-generational native to the Puget Sound Region, I have stayed at numerous properties at Ocean Shores and other areas both professionally and for pleasure. I am in this area 3-4 times per year and personally know rental property owners in the area, some of which at far older properties as well as the newest of new properties.This has been the worst experience I have ever had in using Hotels.Com, other booking sites and personal bookings. I am probably going to discontinue the use of this site. I took the time to evaluate the comments and as a Business Owner and with 30 years of Ownership/Management experience understand how to interpret them.Upon arrival we found out the refrigerator did not work when we approached the desk clerk she stated I cannot help you tonight but gave us the key for the room next door and stated” I hope they don’t check in” gave us a key to the (Jack and Jill Door) room next-door and stated they may or may not show up. There were large gaps around entry door allowing excessive cold air in the room. The Curtains moved consistently about two inches due to the wind permeating the glass and seals. The Bedding for the hide- a bed had excessive stains. The Linens were full of holes and severely tattered. We needed more bedding yet when went to the office they were closed with no contact number.The bathroom was very unsanitary. The stove was very dirty yet the sign says the charge $150 for dishes left undone

Although the office closes at 6pm during slower seasons, there is someone on call 24 hours per day. The number is posted on both the front and back doors of the office as well as printed on the guest registration.

Nice spacious hotel
The bed was comfy and big. The heaters worked on such a cold weekend. The couches need to be upgraded. We sank into them and weren't very comfortable. Everything is outdated but everything worked which is a plus. The T.V.'s were the only updated thing in the room. Plenty of channels to watch. Customer service was great. Love the glass sliding windows which allowed us to look outside and enjoy the weather. I would stay here again.

Be sure the rate is right when check in
We've stayed in the motel for more than five times. Overall are good, but except for that they tended to overcharged when check in. Last weekend's stay was my third times they tried to overcharge me again and I had to proof the online reservation rate to them by showing the confirmation email on my smartphone. I'm always aware of this matter, so got it fixed every time.

There was mold in the bathroom on the walls and also by the chimney on the ceiling. Sofa was so uncomfortable. Way overpriced for this room.

Room was pretty worn down and outdated, tv in bedroom on had one channel, and curtains that cover the sliding glass door right next to spa tub were see through and didn't completely cover.

Not a negative review, just an honest one.
We stayed in #21. first issue was the smoke detectors. There were none. The attachment rings were still there, but the detectors had been removed. Then there were the vents in the Jacuzzi tub. They were filled with black slimy residue. Since these types of tubs do not have chlorine running through them all the time, they should be cleaned out with lime-away or something after each use. We chose to just shower. the linens were thread bare and had holes in them. The towels the second night however were fairly new and in good condition. I suggest a purge of all of the old towels. There was a broken light bulb in the bathroom. Broken to the point that only the base and filament were left. I was not about to try and get it out of there. Staff was accommodating and willing to help where they could. Many of these issues are up to the individual unit owners to take care of.

Feel the breeze
the hotel staff do not check anyone in after about 5 i believe so they leave you with your suit number and leave the door unlocked with your keys on the counter. shady much? they should have a box with a code they can put the key in. The sheets were stained and had tiny holes in the blanket. Last but not least there were 2 HUGE moths my boyfriend noticed on the ceiling so that was not fun. Last but not least the room was freezziinnnggg and the two tiny heaters they gave did not give much heat. we scooted out chairs to the heater while we watched tv. I know I only paid about 60 dollars for this room but the sands is where i normally stay or the morning glory.. you get what you paid for. we will not be returning back.

Love this place
Love staying here. We had a different room this time and it was so nice to have a Jacuzzi for 2. It was like mini apartment. We got there early and they called us within a half hour after getting the room ready for us. Will continue to stay here.

Beach access good.
Jacuzzi absorbed room and seating access. Couch uncomfortable (Only place to sit). No counter space in bathroom. Slippery bathtub. Had to request shampoo and Hair dryer. No sink stopper or sink screen to prevent items falling in to sink drain. Sliding glass door not lockable. Had to use stick to keep it locked. Parking long way from room.

Very pleased.
Very clean and roomy. Even a patio door to take out the dog. A much better room than we have gotten in other motels. Well equipped for for folks to stay a few days.We did having a coffee pot and coffee for AM wakeups. Also, the king-size bed was so very soft that I had trouble sleeping. With my back problems, I needed a firm bed. The couch was so very soft, it was hard getting up off it. But other than that, we were happy with it. And pleased with staff.

Furniture cheep and uncomfortable Bed was OK. Carpet old, decor very dated. Small kitchen and jetted tub was nice, but old. Location and privacy good. No daily service, must ask for it.

Large unit near the beach.
Nice to stay in a place where an advertised suite actually is a suite, not a bed, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. This place is older and somewhat beaten up by time and delayed maintenance but the suite, setting, and price more than make up for it. Separate bedroom with comfortable king bed, full kitchen and dining area, sitting room with a real fireplace, large private patio, short walk to beach. Very quiet, deer family came to visit a couple of times. The track and/or rollers on the sliding glass door to the patio need to be replaced; the door is almost impossible to close and lock. Towels are threadbare and actually holed in places. Friendly helpful staff, when they're there- front office hours seem to be 10 to about 6.

Horrible
Booked on Expedia, all the pictures for rooms show a spa tub in living room. Well, the one we got was an oversized bathtub with jets in bathroom. Not what we wanted, and no other rooms were available.The king bed was extremely uncomfortable, son we pulled out the hide-a-bed only to find chicken bones. Would not recommend. Especially since it was $110 for just one night.

Value for money stay
Very good hotel if you are looking for comfort and amenities then luxury looks. I like the size of bed, kitchenette, Jacuzzi. This is more like home then hotel.

By far my worst stay in Ocean Shores ever. Right off the bat if I'm entering the room it was dingy dark and smells musty. The in-room jacuzzi tub was filthy, and broken in a couple places. It was huge, which was something I suppose but having to start my mini vacation by scrubbing down the tub and everything around it did not give me a great impression. Then we were immediately greeted with neighbors that were watching pornaments, loudly, while discussing it also loudly, at 2 in the afternoon. Keep it classy Weatherly,

Since we do not have information regarding when you stayed or what room you were in we can only comment generally about your review. Although the Weatherly is an older property we have Housekeeping and Maintenance staff working to ensure that rooms are clean and functional. If a guest advises us that they are concerned about something or unhappy with the accommodations, there are a number of solutions including having Housekeeping staff returning to the room to address the issue, offering to have the guest move to another room, or offering a refund if the guest does not prefer to stay. We are sorry you were disappointed with the Weatherly

Not too romantic
My room was 45 minutes late to be ready and should be ready at 3 o'clock but ready at 3:45 and there was poo stain on the wall in the bedroom and the bathroom door handle was loose so I had to fix that and the room was it in very good shape wallpaper peeling off n. Now why took a while to warm up in the spring is in the bed was coming out and need to put replace with a new mattress

Wow. This hotel is unique. I don't thinks it's been updated since the 60's. Even though the location is great, view is good, the staff was friendly, and the price was right, that didn't make up for the discomfort of the room. Heaters don't work properly, so we froze our entire stay. Bed was hard and squeeky. Well stocked kitchen means 1 fork, 3 dinner plates, no coffee cups, even though coffee and a coffee maker was provided, etc. Paper thin walls so you hear your neighbors conversations. And a jacuzzi in the middle of the kitchen/living room? Odd, to say the least. Probably won't stay here again.

Definitely would stay again
This is the cutest little hotel! The room is a great size with a complete kitchen, fireplace, jetted tub, large bathroom and separate bedroom for privacy. There's a great sized deck good for BBQs and watching the sunset. I'm the morning we enjoyed seeing deer come from the woods nearbye that are so gentle they take pieces of apple and bread right from your hands! Large selection of videos to use in the office! Overall feel of the room is very open and comfortable, we really loved the guest book in the room, we were celebrating our two year anniversary and it was so great to see all the couples before us who were doing the same thing! We definitely will be repeat guests here!

Never again place is gross very outdated couch was ripped and very uncomfortable wifi was worthless jacuzzi jets half worked only wasn't very happy at all the bed was really bad old no padding and Felt springs when laying in it

Used to be my favorite place
Over the years its gone thru new owners and nothing really has been upgraded. It needs a lot of updating the bed is so full of springs and uncomfortable. The couch was so dirty and filthy. I had to wear shoes the whole time cause the carpet was so gross. I am saddened to say we will be finding a new place to stay in Ocean shores. The only reason I loved this room was because of the hot tub in the rooms but those don't even work that well anymore.

the jacuzzis are the best part... every time we come to ocean shores this is our place to get away at.. it's convenient to everything and you can walk out your door and be right at the ocean..

Not impressed
Close to beach. Rooms are outdated couch and bed very uncomfortable. When we arrived for a 2 day stay we were the only people staying at the hotel. It's all 1 story with approximately 20 rooms. On our second day day the room next to us was rented to other people. 2 out of approx 20 rooms rented and they put us right next to each other?????? Come on really!!

Disaster
I unsuccessfully tried to get my husband to leave & book another hotel.The room smelled horrible. Two small heaters that ran constantly but could not keep us warm at all. Black mold on the kitchen baseboard. No heat in the bathroom. Living room chair had an old tablecloth thrown over it. Couch was hard as a rock. Had kitchenette but no basics as salt & pepper, sugar. Also had mismatched plates, etc.. Floors had apparently been laid without any padding as when my dog dropped her chew it sounded like it weighed 30 pounds. You could hear full conversations of the guests next door. Television had to be louder than theirs so we could hear. The only good thing I can say is that it was steps from the beach which 90% of hotels there are. NEVER again!

Dog-friendly and comfortable
We appreciated having a pet friendly hotel so close to the beach. The patio opens onto a grassy lawn, perfect for our two dogs. The suite had plenty of room for us and was comfortable. Nothing fancy here, but a good value for the price and location.

Don't do it!
Wife cut her foot on exposed carpet tacks. No room service unless you request it. Had a fireplace, but couldn't get a fire started because there was no air flow. The bed sucked; was lumpy and very sqeeky. On the upside, it had a newer jetted hot tub and was within walking distance to the beach and shopping. If they'd pay attention to the place and fix it up a little, it could be a great place to stay. We won't be staying there again.

Jacuzzi in room. < 5 minutes walk to ocean
Amazing. Tranquil. Refreshing. You can hear the ocean from your room, and walk there in less than 5 minutes. Close to anything and everything you could need on a vacation. Amazing food, adviser scooter rental, bowling, bumper cars, go karts, golf. Everything convenient and close. People of Ocean Shores are kind and very laid back. Great vibes from literally everyone!
