A lovely little place. The room was so dinky and some would say basic but it had everything we needed for a short stay. Loved the speed of the shower. The menu choice was fantastic, home cooked food. Shame there wasnt food/sandwiches available at lunchtime as we had decided to spend day at hotel so were really hungry by teatime. Loved the lounge on an evening another little bonus to relax in. I cant say that the stay was quiet as the speed of the traffic going past the window made it noisy and when the bar was open the bass of the music was quite boomy through the floor but it didnt stop us enjoying our stay. Family led hotel which are doing a fab job. We will definitely return sometime

Lovely traditional hotel, very friendly folk, cosy (but spacious) room and very clean. If we were staying in the area again we would stay here.

Thank you for the review but its not very helpful as the only thing that was poor was the internet connection which you have already complained about directly to us and that we explained even if it was working its not good enough to make a wifi call from, and just to let you know the internet is back on with a download speed of 5 and an upload speed on 1.2 so no wifi calling

Really comfortable stay in a beautiful area. Hotel was warm and comfortable as well as spotless. Made us and our dog so welcome. Definitely would stay here again.

Review
Lovely two night stay at Ben Lawers Hotel. Food tasty and good portions, just what you need after a day in the hills. Hotel clean, no complaints there and very accommodating for our dog in all areas of the hotel.

Fantastic weekend away hotel was lovely, cooked breakfast and dinners were really good ,and live music was a great start to our Friday night will most definitely be back in near future

Lovely hotel located on the edge of Loch Tay - stayed two nights - room was small but very clean and well appointed. Breakfast excellent. I imagine it’s busy during the walking season. Good value for money.

The view from our room was outstanding. There was a lot of noise from the next room, like something was loose fitting in the bathroom. You could hear conversations from this room clearly. There was no internet signal.

sorry about the noise, we are not sure what that is. As for the internet it works in most of the hotel but their are black spots due to the thickness of the walls that are over 300 years old

Perfect Place to Stay
Ideally located for hill climbing. Super friendly, very accommodating and excellent food with generous portions (just what you need after a day in the hills).

Great place to stay for walkers
Host was not particularly welcoming. It was a dark, wet horrible night we were struggling with luggage and could not find our way into the premises. Admonished for not reading the notice and not ringing the bell The notice had blown over and we couldn't see the bell. It should be noted we are both women in our early 70's. Immediately told to clean our hand and verbally advised of the house covid rules. First impressions do colour one's feelings but on saying that the hotel was extremely clean and warm. and the room very comfortable. Our meals were excellent and the log burning stove in the dining area was a real plus.

This is a lovely little hotel run by Paul and Dee. The location is stunning right on Loch Tay. We ate at the hotel every night as the homecooked food by Dee was fabulous! Cosy little bar .... just perfect for a few nights away from home.

Great little place!
Nice little base for a stay in the Ben Lawers region. Goid location, tasty food, clean rooms, friendly team and definately great value for money. Would happily recommend.

Hotel was a good location for walkers, good food and bar area. Only advice would be taxi service isn't great in the area so if you wanted a drink you would need to eat and drink at the hotel. The food was great so this was not an issue for us! 😊

En dessous de l'hôtel il y a un bar/restaurant assez authentique. Nous y sommes allés pendant la période d'Halloween et la déco y était poussée jusqu'au bout ! C'était chouette à voir.

Ben Lawers, simply the business. Excellent.
Could not fault it. The host was friendly and accommodating and the room first class. The food was definitely 5*. And our little dog gave it 5-paws too 🐶

The Hotel was clean and tidy and the double room we booked had ensuite bath and shower it was all very clean and tidy. Our breakfast excellent on both days of our stay. We down from Torridon to attend a farm hack at the Big Shed Tombreck. Perthshire was an inspiring landscape to be in.

Buen sitio para 2-3 días. El responsable genial!
Bueno sitio para quedarse 2 ó 3 días. El responsable que nos atendió es simpatiquísimo, estuvimos muy a gusto. Cenamos un día allí, avisándole por la mañana, y tomamos unas pizzas que estaban buenas. Los desayunos también están bien. El entorno es precioso y está bien situado para moverse por los alrededores, cerca de muchos sitios que hay que visitar. La única pega es que no hay cobertura.

Well located pub
Superb rural location but it's a pub with rooms rather than a hotel as it pretends. Room ok for the area and food excellent, but the host was not in the least welcoming and did not engage with guests.

We have go to disagree we are a small hotel not a pub (a pub has no rooms and has games machines and darts pool and sky tv) as with not engaging with guests maybe it was just you and it takes two !!!!!

Adequate. Customer care improvement required.
An excellent location for the mountains, bed clean and comfy and well supplied with toiletries. Could be so much better with a bit more welcome. Did not feel welcome. Few smiles. No conversation. Food average. We ordered 2 starters each, as not big eaters and all 4 came at once! I asked if my hot one could be kept warm till I'd finished the salad but this was refused 'as there was salad on the plate'. I was admonished for not saying I wanted one after the other!

Our customer care is fine what we do need to improve on is mind reading as at NO time did you ask for the starters to come out at as a starter then a main if you had this would of happened and then as pointed out by the couple sitting opposite who also said we are not mind readers why did you not eat the hot starter first???. We have a lot of people who ask for 2 starters and are more than happy with them together, may we suggest that you state this when ordering as WE ARE NOT MIND READERS
