The room is big, the bed is firm, the staff are cordial and helpful, the hot water flows. But the TV service is horrible and I had to wait until 7pm to move into my room. It seems to me there is no reason the TV has to be so poor.

I didnt like the property at all. There wasnt any transportation provided from airport as stated on website. Long story short we went to another hotel during the duration of our two week stay in Ghana.

wrong info from hotels.com
i have stayed at this hotel several times, friendly staff, but the information on hotels.com about price for late check out is wrong, they charge 150 cedis not 80 cedis as stated

Opportunities For Improvement
I was excited to try this hotel on my stay in Ghana. The receptionist area was welcoming and he was very nice, also helpful. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy. There is room for improvement in all areas. I love clean hotels to stay when travelling but this was not. Comfort: Bed was not comfy; had hard time resting Clealiness: As I saw roaches in the washroom I would say it is not as clean as it could be. I hope to be able to stay in the future.

The hotel staff were professional and nice, and the hotel itself was clean. However the mattress was too thin and I could only get one single channel on the TV. Secondly it took me about 30 minutes driving around the same vicinity looking for the hotel as the map on Expedia isn’t accurate. I told that to the hotel receptionist who simply laughed at that, telling me he knows about that. But overall, I enjoyed my stay there because of the fair price and proximity to Osu where I usually hanged and had meals. I’d certainly stay in this hotel again and recommend to friends and family.

I liked the round bed in presidential suite. However the bathroom was in a terrible state. Will I recommend? No. Not good value for money. You can get better in Accra for the same price.

Very hard to locate
The staffs were great but the facilities were nothing to write home about. There was a cockroach in the bathroom and the air conditioning was not functioning well. The toilet paper was cheap too if that matters to you.

Fake Luxus und Schimmel nahe Airport
es war nicht transparent wieviel das Taxi kostet. Der Fahrer war frech und obwohl ich das Hotel schon bezahlt habe hat er nach Geld gefragt, nicht nur Trinkgeld, sondern erneute Bezahlung. D.h. Dinge sind schlecht koordiniert und etwss langsam. Das Restaurant ist gut.

Not recommanding hotel
Well located in the center of Accra this hotel suffers from very average quality bedroom, rustic bathroom, bedroom or small and not little storage space available. The staff is present but not very efficient. Good breakfast. In the end poor quality / price ratio.

Schlaflose Nacht in Accra
Wie jedes Mal in diesem Hotel haben wir ein Zimmer in der nächsten Nähe der Reception bekommen. In der gesamten Nacht waren laute Geräusche von den Türen , zuschlagen und öffnen , zu hören, verursacht vom Personal, laute Gespräche, Toilettengeräusche da die Türen offen blieben. Das ist insbesondere in den Zimmern 3 und 4 zu hören. Warum bekommt man vom Hotel als EXPEDIA Kunde immer diese Zimmer ? Die Räume sonst sind gut und in Ordnung, die Rücksichtslosigkeit des Personals aber ist Spitze in Accra.

Konum olarak havalimanına ve şehir merkezine çok yakın. Bu civardaki bilindik otellerin 4 de 1 i fiyatına konaklama yaptım. Evet çok lüks değil fakat ihtiyacı fazlasıyla karşılıyor. Oda temiz ve büyük, banyo idare eder, yataklar büyük, çarşaflar ve yastıklar temiz. Klima ve kablosuz internet var. İsterseniz her gün odanız temizleniyor ve çarşaflarınız değiştiriliyor. İş için gittiyseniz, sabah çıkıp akşam yatmaya geri gelecekseniz sizi fazlasıyla memnun edecektir.

Comfortable, clean and quiet hotel in Accra
I was in Accra for the week on business and was looking for an affordable, comfortable, quiet and clean hotel for the week. The Luxe fitted the bill perfectly! The staff are attentive, polite, friendly and ensure you have an enjoyable stay. I have to say, with the exception of the aircraft noise from the planes taking off and landing (which you will get anywhere in Accra), it was one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in! The only other noise was the faint sound of the morning cockerel! Also, Seth, the hotel driver is excellent for running you around town for meetings. He's very courteous, always on time, and provides a good rate. Also, the wifi connection is excellent. I ate every night in the adjacent restaurant and the food was good, albeit entirely Chinese food. But there was several choices for vegetarians, and the vegetable spring rolls are v tasty! All in all, a great stay. I would go back there again.

Place gives you peace of mind.
More so for single travelers and couples without older children in my opinion. Not a hotel for those wishing for all-in luxury but more than satisfactory for those looking for peace of mind, comfort, modern facilities, and immediately available hot water when required in one's room. Also being just a short ride from the airport and close to good traffic routes so you won't spend all day in traffic. The biggest bonus is the Asian themed restaurant right next door. They take the time to prepare the food right which is what one wants from any restaurant. As a single traveler my orders came rather quicker than normal for Ghana but I did also notice that with larger groups the prep time seemed longer. Though I should also add that the portions are quite large and with the reasonable pricing bigger groups appeared to order a number of items. Quite a reasonable spot that checks off most requirements.

A Nice Last Minute Option. Save use online booking
I suddenly found myself needing lodging my last 2 nights in Accra. I went online, read reviews and chose Luxe Suites mostly because of reviews. Even though I had plumbing issues in the bathroom, I was quickly accommodated by being allowed to use another room just to shower, eliminating the need to pack all my personal belongings. I really like this option. The adjoining restaurant had good breakfast and dinner options. Go for the omelet for breakfast! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Nice Accra experience . . .

Breakfast included only if the cook is there
This hotel is lovely, well maintained, comfortable, has working bedside lamps and clean linens. The restaurant is very good, asian fusion, very authentic. Slow, but you can work around that. But if you want breakfast, which is included with the room price, you have to be lucky enough to get there before the cook disappears. This has happened both times I have stayed at the Luxe Suites. The first time, the manager actually ran out and found the cook and brought him back to make our breakfast. The second time, the rude waitress just said that breakfast was finished, and grudgingly offered bread. Nobody there to roust the cook. So we left. They should stop saying the breakfast is included if they can't make their cook stay around to provide it. This is the only reason I downgrade my star rating to 2. I will give them one more chance to get the breakfast right.

Very pretty outside and inside
Faux stone pillars at the entry and in the reception area, along with tile mosaic walk ways and parking area set the tone for this very pretty hotel. The room pictures on Expedia are spot on; we had one of the rooms that I had seen, and it was even prettier in person. The reception staff were cheerful and very helpful and efficient. The room was immaculate, pleasing to the eye, and the light fixtures, bed lamp, shower head, water heater, and fridge and AC all worked correctly. Clearly a lot of care is taken of the physical plant here. The room and its bath were clean, with crisp clean linens. The included breakfast was generous with toast, eggs and crepes. But the best aspect of the Luxe Suites is the Asian fusion restaurant. We had rice noodles, chicken stir fried with vegetables, and chicken with cashews. All were prepared correctly with authentic ingredients, including fresh Chinese cabbage, tree ear fungus, real glass (cellophane) rice noodles (not spaghetti imported from Ivory Coast), good soy sauce. The menu is huge. I would stop to eat there if I were just in Accra for the day. The only reason I do not add another star to my rating is the slow and sullen service by the restaurant staff. We who live in Ghana know this is the norm, but visitors will be put off. Ignore it and enjoy the lovely Cantonese food. I will definitely stay here again, and steer visitors to the Luxe Suites. Good value, pleasant surroundings, great food.

January 2016 Ghana visit
Hotel shows signs of aging and seen very little maintenance over the years. location is very quiet and convenient to city center and airport. customer services is dismal. Room, closets, coffee items all dusty and dirty. Bathroom very filthy and water drains very slowly creating stagnant dirty water in the shower. There is roach infestation. Breakfast is items and toiletries are regularly not available.

High price for such a low quality
Le standard de la chambre ne correspond pas à celui de la photo. Petit déjeuner très sommaire. Il faut demander de l'eau à boire... Trop cher pour ce niveau minimaliste de service.

Won't go back!
The hotel is quite dated and could use some upgrade and better cleaning. The room and bathroom had a "musty" odor to it. The closet was dusty and littered with cloth hangers.

Woke to find no power or water in the room. Not a lot of fun when you have a plane to catch at 6am and need to pack in the dark.

Good location but services dependent on 2 concierges working more than 12 hour shifts. 1 cleaning person so no room cleaning on day she was off duty. Water leaks from AC and walls; stuffy odor. Needs modernization

On arrival, the receptionist took me to a room and declared presidential room, even though I requested an executive room. it took two days and protest that I am not paying for a presidential room, that I was given a residential suite. Breakfast was simple, toast, eggs and coffee with butter and jelly. After three days, I have to protest that there must be oatmeal, which they obliged me on the fourth. day. Any shopping center was far away. I believed that the hotel could be better maintained, staff better trained and a nice intercontinental breakfast provided.
