Fantastic stay!!!
Fantastic stay at Ionian Greka Suites! Afroditi is so welcoming and a brilliant host. The room was clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning. Agia Efimia is beautiful and one of the best places to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning!

Great stay at Greka
We had a great stay. Nice, big room which is cleaned daily, large shower, airconditioning in both living and bed room. Nice pool, good location in a nice little town with some good tavernas, and good for exploring the northern part of the island. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Great stay
Afroditi the owner is a lovely lady, very helpful with information . The room was cleaned regularly with the sheets & towels changed. it also has a beautiful pool. Ideal location for exploring the island & has beautiful views of the bay. We really enjoyed our stay & Afroditi was always there to help with anything you need.

Best spot to base yourself in Kefalonia
Very comfortable stay, Afroditi is an amazing host, so friendly & generous with her time & suggestions. The best food I've had on the island was in Efimia!! Perfect location, walking everywhere around the local harbour, cafes, restaurants, market & pharmacy. Great base to drive to all the local attractions for the day (Day trips in Asos or Antisami & visit to Melessani Cave & an abandoned Village!) then back to the hotel to relax in the harbour for dinner.

Needs some adjustments but was a fair price
We selected this place for one night as we were arriving from another island. The location was great, close to mini-markets, restaurants, Sami port, etc. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy any of the amenities (e.g. pool) nor the appliances, so we are not comment on this. We also did not interacted with the reception, as it was closed when we arrived (9 pm) and closed when we left (9am next day). However there was a phone number at the door and luckily we had a local simcard so we were able to communicate with someone that in less than 10min arrived with the keys. The room was OK and seems to be under some upgrading/renovation. The washroom was clean but had a very bad smell, I guess coming from the pipes. The bedroom was clean but the mattress was uncomfortable. The towels were very rough and definitely need to be replaced. The comments are based on our experience, and take in consideration we stayed at the property for 12h more or less. These "items to be fixed"/adjustments as very easy to be fixed, and I am positive that management will work on these to make Greka a great place to stay.

Solid stay.
The room was fine and seems to be slowly upgrading. Some parts are clearly brand new (tape on) and some furniture or appliances are very old. Place will be excellent I'm sure very soon. Very friendly owner

Alleen maar lof!
Wat een fijne tijd hebben we hier gehad. Warm ontvangen en veel informatie gekregen over de omgeving. Schone appartementen (werd elke dag schoon gemaakt) en een heerlijke douche. En wat een vriendelijke eigenaresse! Alleen maar lof!

Great friendly welcome and service
A lovely property very close to the beautiful harbour village including several lovely tavernas. Afroditi was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. In fact, as beautiful as the village is, the people are even more beautiful - they couldn’t be friendlier. The apartment had a comfy bed and was well-equipped. Great swimming pool and very close to everything. We had a wonderful holiday with Afroditi at Greka. Ps. Take beach towels!

Best stay of our trip to Greece
Lovely and clean, short walk to lots of restaurants, great central position to explore entire island. The owner, Aphrodite, is an absolute gem, so helpful with great advice about what to see and do.

Lovely 7 night stay
We were very happy with our accomodation. The room was spotlessly clean and a cleaner came in every day. The pool area was also lovely too. It's only a few nineties away from all the restaurants of A.Effimia.

Fabulous stay in great apartments
We had a great stay here in my favourite village on the island. We arrived at 1am (half an hour later than predicted as our plane was late) but Aphroditi couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. She gave us a map of the area and even told us where would still be open for food if we were hungry! The room was clean and comfortable. We had an economy room which was perfect for our stay. Aphroditi also showed us one of the larger rooms when we were leaving. We will definitely be back with the family as these really are great rooms. The pool area was lovely too. NB quite a few steps to pool and all apartments except the two economy rooms.

Overpriced and noisy
I was very disappointed with my accommodation and feel it was over-priced. The room faced directly onto the main road leading in and out of the village, so we had the constant noise and rumble of passing cars, trucks, motorbikes. The room was dark with very little natural light, the only window faced onto the road as did the tiny, cramped patio, the view was of the road/cars. Also the wall between our room and the next one was flimsy. The pool was up a lot of stairs and quite far from our room and it isn't suitable for small children as there is no shallow area. The room was clean and the service was friendly but there are much cheaper, nicer options on the island. I enjoyed my stay in Kefalonia despite this room which I couldn't relax in due to the noise :(

Beautiful Clean Well-Maintained Value
The Suite was immaculate. The town everything you could ask for. Aphrodite however was the best part. She took half an hour with me and map to locate the best places to go in Ayia Efimia. Then the next day she sat with my whole family to identify the best places on the island of Cephalonia to visit. This place is really amazing! If you have a group of 10-12, the view from the villa will take your breath away while giving you an exceptionally beautiful & comfortable place to stay!

Excellent hospitality just off village centre.
A thoroughly enjoyable 3 night stay with good sea views. The highlight is Afroditi's explanation of all the best things to do and the best places to visit. Spacious, comfortable accommodation, well worth a visit.

nicest studio apts on a Greek Island
These were the best studios we have stayed in on a Greek island, the finish was excellent and the furniture very tasteful. All amenities included in the kitchen and cleaned every day to a spotless finish. Aphrodite couldn't have been more helpful advising on where to eat, what beaches to visit and places of interest. A very tastefully finished pool area, again spotlessly clean.The studios are ideally placed in Agia Efimia, easy and quick access to all the restaurants, (there are lots), and the beaches, Agia Efimia is also ideally placed in Kefalonia if you want to travel to see the rest of this beautiful island.

Everything was perfect! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The owner Afrodite treats everybody like her own family and can't do enough to help. I really can't find fault. The room was cleaned every day with new bedding, towels and dressing gowns. The view over the bay and the pool was lovely. The pool area was lovely with lots of very comfortable loungers. The local restaurants (recommended by Afrodite) were all very nice and great value. I will certainly be returning.

Greek Paradise!
The Greka provides outstanding accommodation in an idyllic setting, in our opinion the best location on the island for those seeking a quiet getaway from it all. Modern, comfortable suites, many with balconies overlooking the charming harbour of Agia Effimia, it really is a paradise. Very impressed that our suite was immaculately cleaned every day. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, Afroditi, who could not be mure welcoming or helpful. All this provided a superb experience which we cannot wait to repeat. Very highly recommended in every respect!

Awesome Experience Hotel location and Village
The hotel is new and very well maintained. The hostess (Aphroditi) is an excellent host and makes sure that you have anything you need. The small village of Agia Efimia is a quiet and very quaint place. It is suitable for families as well as couples/singles. Restaurants/grocery shopping is within walking distance from the hotel. You can swim at the hotel's swimming pool or choose to go to one of the amazing nearby beaches (you need a car or bike). Plenty of things to see on the northern part of the island as Afroditi pointed out to us and she was right on the money. I highly recommend the hotel as everything was perfect.

Semplicemente fantastico
La struttura è nuovissima e curata nei minimi dettagli. Le camere sono spaziose, il soggiorno molto grande e dotato di cucina completa in ogni dettaglio. Posizione tranquilla e a due passi dal centro. Che dire poi della titolare, la signora Afroditi è meravigliosa in tutti i sensi, cortese, disponibile 24 ore e piena di consigli su cosa vedere e dove mangiare.
