Hi Lynne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review we do really appreciate it. We are a hostel that is catered towards backpackers, so you are right in that respect that our property is suited more to that demographic. The bar that you refer to is our onsite hostel bar - Boatys. At the moment it only stays open until 12am but a bit of noise is to be expected, especially on a busy weekend. In terms of the blankets, we were fully booked that night and it seemed we ran out of suitable sized blankets so I do apologise for that - This should have been communicated to you better. We are not able to provide kitchen amenities in the private rooms at the moment due to our property specific guidelines - again maybe this could have been communicated to you better. I am glad you enjoyed the town of Airlie Beach and safe travels!

We are a Backpacker resort, however provide a range of accommodation styles from shared dorms to camping to private accommodation, with 2 bars a restaurant, 2 swimming pools and a volleyball court. I apologize massively if the room wasn't up to the standard that you or we expect during check in and this will be followed up with the appropriate departments We are very sorry for any confusion caused however, on our Expedia profile it states that we have self parking at a surcharge and that fee is $6 per night. Again I apologize if this wasn't clear at the time of making the booking. Wifi is free in the reception area and available in rooms for a small cost of $4 per day or $12 per week. All of our staff are expected to welcome our guests in a warm and friendly manner with a professional level that we strive to uphold.
