the Hotel got amazing spot on the Indian ocean, with small coral Infront of the beach which makes snorkeling nice experience. Romm's bit old but well maintained, and comfortable beds. Food is good, and the family atmospere all around is fantastic.

Great stay overall
My stay was great. The facilities and the staff were really nice. One small issue I faced was that the TV was not working in my room but the hotel service team was cooperative and replaced it as soon as I informed them.

Great place for beach holiday
The hotel has everything needed for perfect beach stay. The rooms are located in small houses on the beach. Rooms are simple but well maintained and have everything needed. Beach is equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, there’s a swimming pool. Snoopy island with beautiful sea life is easily accessible if you can swim. Make sure to take your snorkel mask with you.

The rooms are very, very dated. Not worth the money. Facilities are kids friendly and can keep them well entertained. Restaurant food is strongly below average.

Great value for weekend with family
Great location and facilities. Everything is accessible quickly and easily by car then walking (even with kids). Only improvements would be the service time at the restaurant and more choices in menus.

A relaxing weekend away from Dubai
We come here regularly, we love the atmosphere. You have everything you could want from a beach resort without the crowds, concrete blocks, industrial-scale catering and long carpeted corridors. The setting is amazing, you are always outside, the food is great (the choices are expanding but the original dishes are still on the menu). The new and renovated rooms are very comfortable and clean and even the older ones are clean, they are just a bit dated.

Medium value for money
We arrived in the afternoons and they could not find the booking. They said my booking was cancelled. Luckly they had available rooms and I got one. The food is medium and very expensive for the quality and quantity. Aquatic aports (canoa paddle) are not included. As soon as you consume food or drink they ask for payment...staff speaking limited english. All in all... Disappointing

Sandy Beach Resort was a good place to stay. The bath towels were absolutely amazing, so plush. The views of Snoopy Island from the pool and beach were gorgeous. I liked that the rooms were designed for sand and I didn’t need to worry too much about getting it dirty. It was easy cleanup with the design. But this hotel has opportunities for growth. When my room was cleaned before I checked in, the bathroom trash was never emptied. On the second day, I was not given more toilet paper and water. The pool bar sold out of draft beer within a few hours of me arriving, and then I was told that they wouldn’t get any more in because Ramadan was starting in 2 days. Outside my door, there was a huge pile of trash/junk sitting by the rocks. It’s a big eyesore. Please do something to clean this trash pit up. It really takes away from the gorgeous views and atmosphere.

My favourite place in the UAE. Excellent snorkelling. Stunning views of Snoopy. Only downside is the lunch at the bar/cafe is ok but nothing special but the food available in the evenings is much better.

Great Adventure
It was great a lot of memories and flash back associated with this place it's an adventure. The Amazing views and the super clean water. Sandy beach is different from other competitors it doesn't feel too commercial like most of the places everywhere. However, Areas that needs improvement would be check the toilet smell before checking in people to the room. People BBQ but food attracts insects. Black oil spots on the beach leaves marks on the feet here and there. Prices of drinks and food items is very high. However, nothing is worth the fun you get and for sure will visit you place again with a bigger group.

Restful holiday stay.
We love spending time at Sandy Beach Hotel. We recommend the apartment rooms, nice half fridge, hot kettle, plates, glasses and a sink. Plenty of closet space, great balcony and sitting area. Close to beach.

Great ambiance but slightly overpriced
The hotel staff was amazingly friendly! Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the bartenders...they all made sure that we were taken care of. The beach, pool, and slides were great as well. For what I paid, I expected better accomodations (fancier room, more comfortable bed, better restaurant). However, you are really paying for the scenary. The restaurant overcooked most of the meals so I would recommend just ordering sandwiches.

Childhood memories
I used to spend my weekends at Sandy beach hotel with my family when I was a child. And I haven’t been there for almost 10 years. So being able to find time and someone to share with this staycation at this location was overwhelming for me ! I had the best memories before and once again as an adult now ! I recommend this place 100%, even if the rooms are not luxurious, I call it an adventure stay and I love it ! The pool is amazing and you can dive around snoopy island with so many fish and turtles and even sharks if you want! It’s the perfect place to stay at if you want to get your mind out of the city !

Great location
A great location on a lovely beach with direct swimming access to snorkel around Snoopy Island with its myriad of fish, and if you’re lucky, turtles and reef sharks. The resort is quite old but that adds to its basic charm. Good options of accommodation from hotel rooms to self catering bungalows all in very pleasant green gardens.

The front office staff are friendly and quick in responding to request. The cleaners were also very helpful, even the gardener are greetings us and my family.

El hotel en si no vale lo que pagas. La habitaciones y resto de instalaciones necesitan renovarse. La limpieza en la habitación también podría mejorar. Los puntos positivos son la excelente situación en frente de Snoopy Island y la nueva piscina infantil.

The main attraction to stay at Sandy Beach is access to Snoopy Island (100 meters off the coast) where there is good snorkeling to be had (especially at low tide). Mostly used by residents who bring their own food (those staying in chalet or bungalows equipped with small kitchenettes, BBQ, garden table and chairs). Restaurant food is not great, service laid back and not super attentive. Still it makes a good family week end destination for the snorkeling experience, away from the more usual five stars hotel in the UAE. If coming from Dubai, you can make a stop on the way to Wadi Shawka for example for a trail walk / run before heading to Sandy Beach hotel...

Excellent dive center, restaurant food is delicious, although portions are quite small. Would love to see dietary restrictions indicated on the menu, but there are good options for most people. Rooms are large and clean. This is a family/kids hotel, maybe not so suitable for couples. There is only one pool and it is overrun with kids. :-)

Five star dive center with excellent staff. Menu offers good variety of cuisines and good vegetarian options. The wait staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and I had no trouble with ordering gluten free. Rooms are large and clean. Good rates midweek.

Goede locatie. Kamer toe aan renovatie.
Je komt hier vooral voor het strand en het snorkelen. De accomodatie (geschakelde bungalow) is oud en toe aan renovatie. Je betaald voor de locatie. Leuk speeltuintje en tweede zwembad (nog in aanbouw) voor kinderen. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.
