My room was filthy. Toilet not cleaned rubbish in bathroom sinks not cleaned. Desks & chair had spilled liquid also not cleaned. The whole room (bathroom included). Needed a good wipe & vacuum. It was a cheap room but it should be clean. spend the extra $20 stay somewhere better

My recent stay at Australia Park Motel was extremely disappointing. We arrived just after 8pm and had 2x children under 5 to get to sleep asap. We found a used pair of male underwear in the room, along with what appeared to be dog hair in the bathtub. After forgoing a shower after being on the road all day, we collapsed in the beds and went to sleep. At around 10:30 the front desk called and left a message after to say they had not been payed for the room. The lady who handed us our keys earlier that evening made no mention of this and we didn't appreciate the late call waking up 1 of our kids. On checkout, I went to go and discuss the cleanliness issues we had in our room but there was no one to talk to as the office doesn't open before 9. We spoke a few hours later over the phone and when I bought up the issues we had the response was extremely disappointing. "Sorry, we'll try better next time." "its hard to find good staff". When I asked if some compensation would be considered the response was "no, just pay". I should have bought up that we payed for a clean room and they hadn't delivered this but in my shock and disappointment I payed the amount. I will not be staying here again after doing so for the last 12 years. I would recommend seeking alternative accommodations. Happy to be contacted for confirmation!

Value for money for a one night stay
This was a halfway stopover for my daughter & I travelling to Melbourne. Easy to access from highway and easy to book at a great price. Service was great & we were upgraded to a larger room with 2 separate beds. Breakfast was handy for the next morning. We will stay again.

We stayed at this motel on our way back to Queensland as it was located in a convenient location just of the freeway. The process for booking in was easy as was the checking out. The room was spacious enough for us and had everything we needed. The motel was not too far from a supermarket and other shopping. Would stay there again.

The room was overpriced for the condition it was in. Worn, torn furniture. Bandaids wrapped around a leaky showerhead and a used scourer in the kitchen. Everything is well passed its use by date, very old and outdated. As far as cleanliness goes it was immaculately cleaned and impressive and the main bed was very comfortable.

We came late and left early so didn't encounter any staff. My family and I got a lot of insect bites the family room, either fleas or bedbugs. Quite disappointed.

After reading reviews was very hesitant to stay. The room was clean and tidy. Check in was good. Great little laundry. No noise. But the carpark is eerie when in all darkness

The room smelt musty and old. Torn curtains in the bedroom. Bedside lights were not working. There were no power points in the bedroom. In this technological age this should be a must in my opinion.

I didn’t like the there rooms quality idk if they did clean it or not, coz we found some food left in fridge idk if someone eat and left it 😬 also some of pillow smells even the bed wasn’t comfortable What I can advice try to check everything in the room make sure is clean for other guests

First room the Bathroom was not cleaned, air conditioner did not work, owner them found another room which had broken power points, broken lights, shabby unsafe frayed carpet in areas, door hanging of it hinges, torn curtains, knob to turn fan on and of was missing just to mention a few things. Definitely would not recommend

Pluses Big room, convenient to Albury centre and river park, clean, cheap, wonderfully helpful staff. Negatives old tired decor, key entry door, shower ran hot and cold, beds are on wheels without brakes so you may take an inadvertent tour of your room

Great location oposite a fantastic playground. Quiet. Really nice cleaning staff, didn't meet owners. Fairly run down, few tv channel options, couldn't open windows. Was fine for one night.

Not worth it at twice the price
Room was a bit dated, but broadly clean and comfortable. Slightly expensive for what was provided. However, was charged twice by the motel for my stay (paid at the motel). Despite several phone calls no refund for the second charge has been given (despite promises it would be), and no reason as to why it was charged twice. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for the cost and hassle.

Access to internet was prevented as the owner refused to turn it on.The Wifi server had excellent condition but no access to internet. The milk provided was 4 mths out of date. The interior of our room was in need of fresh paint. Definitely not 3 stars

Large family suite with easy check in. Staff were very polite and happy. Room was clean and had all we needed for a one night sleep over. Close to restaurants and quiet considering it’s on the main road. Good value for money
