You could not ask for a better location to experience Carvoeiro. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The staff is helpful. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good.

Shame that the swimming pool was closed
The swimming pool area was closed, which was a real shame. Breakfast wasn’t very good. The hotel was nice though

Lovely hotel in a great location! Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The rooms were a good size, and reasonably priced! Nice rooftop bar too. Strongly recommend!

Awesome location
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The breakfast was a big variety. It’s conveniently located near a lot of shops, restaurants, and the best part right across from the beach. Also the board walk close by was nice for a morning walk. Will be back!

Imran at the front desk was very helpful getting us situated and finding our way around town. Breakfast was great. The property is older, but very clean and in an ideal location. Excellent value.

At first the parking wasn’t great because we had to park off site due to the hotels lot being full (I personally just don’t like parking further away with a rental) but on our second last day we got a parking spot in the lot. Rooms were great and clean! Staff was lovely and the location was amazing! We only drove 1 time while we were there and that was to go to Lagos for the day. Highly recommend!

Il m’est difficile de donner une note élevée ayant dû tuer à notre 1re soirée une coquerelle énorme! Il m’a été impossible d’apprécier mon séjour car je redoutais qu’il y en ait d’autres (bien évidemment). J’ai informé la réception qui m’ont dit être désolés mais sans plus. Le décor est très ordinaire et vieux (il y a peut être des chambres rénovées mais pas la nôtre et je m’attendais a vraiment mieux!) La pomme de douche ne tenait pas en place sur le support et le plancher de la salle de bain n’était pas si propre (usé et vieux donc taché). Lit très dur mais propre. Point : emplacement idéal à 30 secondes de la plage et du centre. Personnel très aimable et poli. Piscine et bon choix pour le déjeuner qui est offert sur Longue période (7:30@11:00). L’hôtel offre un stationnement privé sécurisé. Malheureusement je ne retournerais pas à cet hôtel!!

Lovely friendly hotel with a fantastic location, near the beach and shops. Staff were professional and helpful. Good airport transfer. Thanks to Hamid, at reception and the friendly staff. Sky Bar on top floor nice for sundowners!

Het hotel was op zich wel goed met vriendelijke mensen, kamer was gedateerd , ontbijt minimaal en werd slecht aangevuld. Sfeerloos . De airco maakte veel geluid in de nacht en gelukkig met de buurman kunnen regelen dat hij hem s'nacht wat zachter zetten.

Perfekt beläget i Carvoeiro
Hotellet är perfekt beläget 10 m från Praia Da Carvoeiro och mittemot finns det restaurangen och den mest besökta delen av byn. Frukosten var bra jämfört med andra Portugisiska hotell men lite fattig om man tänker på svenska frukost. Allt var perfekt annars! Rummet var stort och rent!

We asked for a quiet room but were allocated a room with doors that opened out onto the swimming pool area. Loungers were a few feet from our door and it was noisy well into the evening. We had absolutely no privacy - we could not even open the doors during the day to allow fresh air into the room and we had no outside space of our own. We were not able to change our room because the hotel was full, so checked out after just one night. The only good point about our experience at this hotel was the breakfast, which was excellent!

A good hotel for a one night stay.
We enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel before moving to an apartment for a week. For us the hotel was fine but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than one night. Room clean and staff friendly but the noise outside went on until at least midnight and was unbearable. Breakfast was adequate however I don’t think we would return due to the noise levels.

Die Nähe zum Strand ist der einzige Vorteil bei diesem Hotel. Sehr laut in den Zimmern nach vorn und zur Straße zeigend, da die Bar bis nachts 2:00 Uhr geöffnet hat und auf der angrenzenden Bühne bis Mitternacht Musik und Disko gemacht wird. Frühstück jeden Tag das selbe. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und auch sehr freundlich und versucht auch Probleme sofort zu beheben.

The location is fabulous, the staff friendly and helpful and Carvoeiro itself is a delight. The hotel has recently been taken over and refurbished but has not lost any of its traditional feel. The pool bar was not open in July which we found strange as it was under the old regime even in October.
