Our stay was pleasant. The apartment was very large is size, the views were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable to sleep in, the towels were of good quality, loved the bidet, easy accessible property and a large variety of tasty meals and drinks in the restaurant.

Wir waren (zum Glück) nur für drei Nächte im Monica Isabel Beach Club. Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Sandstrand ist sehr schön. Das Personal, die Reinigungskräfte und die Animateure (hier waren vor allem die Abendveranstaltungen sehr sehens- und hörenswert) waren sehr nett. Das ist dann aber auch alles, was es von dieser Unterkunft Positives zu berichten gibt. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt, das Bad in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Die Sitzmöbel in der Lobby dreckig und durchgesessen. Der Speisesaal, der sich im 8. Stock befindet, ist mit uralten Tischen und Stühlen ausgestattet. Alles klebt beim Anfassen. Bei Regen tropft es durch die Decke. Den Fahrstuhl nach oben haben wir nicht benutzt, nachdem er mehrfach stecken geblieben ist. Das Essen ließ sowohl geschmackliche als auch von der Auswahl, der Präsentation und der Abwechslung her sehr zu wünschen übrig. Vegetarier/Veganer haben hier ganz schlechte Karten, da in fast allen Gerichten und Salaten Fleisch enthalten ist. Die Getränkeauswahl bei Al Inclusive ist mehr als überschaubar. Bier, Softdrinks, ungenießbarer Wein und nur ein „Cocktail of the Day“ und ein paar no Name Liköre. Und das alles gibt es in Pappbechern !!! Mir ist völlig klar, dass man bei 3 Sternen Landeskategorie nicht allzu viel erwarten kann, aber diese Unterkunft hat nicht mal 1 Stern verdient! Portugal und Abufeira werde ich auf jeden Fall noch mal besuchen. Der Flughafen ist sehr modern und sauber. Aber dieses Hotel werde ich sicher nie wieder buchen!

L'hotel est très propre, la literie très bonne. Le personnel est agréable. Il manque une musique d'ambiance au bar. Les activités proposées indiquées sur le planning ne sont pas toujours respectées, C'est dommage.

Weather was hit and miss.. A couple of days of rain and heavy rain at that. A few leaks about the hotel but nothing crazy. All was taken care of.. Staff couldn't do enough.. Love the hotel pool and that we are on the beach.. Plenty of food on offer and nice food at that.. Will happily come back to this hotel..

Brilliant beach location, excellent value
It's 10 out of 10 if you love the beach and swimming in the sea. Brilliant location just a short 10 minute walk into town along a boardwalk on the beach. However the pool area is a little on the small side, but I love the beach so it was a perfect for myself and my 15 year old son. For a three star resort, it exceeded expectations, excellent value for money.

Pictures do not match the room. Swiming pool area (sunbathing) is overfulled. No place for walking between sunbeds. It is called "beach club" but the price does not include sunbeds, umbrellas or the bar at the beach. Everything has to be paid extra. You get what you pay. Cheap hotel. Avoid the 1st floor from block A. The bathrooms breath into the corridor and it smells very bad. Furniture is old. People and beds are good.

Ideal beach location Hotel
Myself and my husband have just had a wonderful week in the hotel. We were all inclusive which we never go for as we love to go out to eat. But, the food was excellent and in abundance. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Ideal location right on the beach and walking distance to the old town. Would definitely go back!!!

Don't go here!
No working aircondition! Promised rebooking but nothing happened as agreed otherwise. Cockroaches in the room and wifi was possible with a fee but wifi was out of reach!

We arrived early and they did not want to give access to our room. But after some wining we got in an hour earlier than 3 pm check in. Tried dinner in the all inclusive. Was not food I would recommend. Beach is great. Access is good. Room was cleaned on regular basis Has kitchen but no kettle or way to heat water

Pas de wifi n'y de réseau téléphonique dans nos chambre annexe à l'établissement.pas de séche cheveux.pas de boillouire pour le café pas de casserole et poêle pour la cuisine équipée. Le ménage est fait tous les jours l'hôtel est très bien situé.

Very good 3star accommodation
Enjoyed our stay but at night it was cold in the tent where the entertainment was taking place. Very clean and staff in the restaurant very attentive. Beautiful views too Pool area excellent and easy access to the beach.

Me gustó que está en prinera linea de playa. No me gusto la falta de hamacas en la piscina, espacio muy pequeño y la gente se coge las hamacas a primera hora dejando sus toallas habiendo un cartel que lo prohibe en la entrada a la piscina. Pero no hay nadie que lo controle.

Ideal stay so close to the beach
Accommodation was a basic twin room but this was what we wanted and the very close location to an amazing beach by far made up for it. Had a room with a view of the sea and a nice little balcony that got the sun all day.

Unser Kurztrip im Oktober war wunderschön! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war vollkommen in Ordnung! Apartments sind zwar in einem etwas älteren Zustand, allerdings ist alles wichtige vorhanden. Toller Meerblick aus dem Zimmer & jeden zweiten Tag neue Handtücher. Essen haben wir nicht im Hotel genossen, sondern sind immer auswärts in der Altstadt beglückt worden! Kleines Manko: Kein WLAN in Zimmern. Insgesamt ein wirklich toller Urlaub!
