NOT IMPRESSED.
Nice facility but not exactly 4 star service - ie: they forgot to reserve golf tee times for my playing partners who were also hotel guests even though they had prepaid and were issued vouchers which was a bit charotic when we checked into the golf course. Also wanted to take a shower after a round of golf only to discover housekeeping didnt leave any towels that day. And the used toiletries arent restocked every day. Not Impressed.

Hotel Alicante Golf was a marvelous oasis in a busy touristy area. The staff was so friendly, efficient, accomodating, spoke English, and very helpful. The hotel was very classy, modern, comfortable in every way, the room wonderful, comfy clean bed, immense lux towels, great shower, and a restaurant woth flexible hours, delicious food & service, and an outdoor terrace with a lovely view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

Old furniture in the room and very bad lighting! Poor amenities in the bath room, old bath, not even a box of tissues ! A bath mat smaller than a guest towel !

Piscine très sale. Le week-end la piscine n’est pas nettoyer. Cette année l’ascension était le lundi, et pendant plus de 3 jours la piscine n’a pas été nettoyé non plus. Une honte vu le prix de l’hôtel et la taille de la piscine. Pas assez de transats. La douche au bord de la piscine est dangereuse. Plusieurs personnes et enfants ont glissé et se sont retrouvés au sol. Le carrelage est glissant et aucune précaution n’a été prise pour éviter les chutes. Sinon les chambres sont confortables. L’équipe de la réception aimable. Hôtel à améliorer.

Green Oasis in the city
Reception was quick easy and helpful, the room we were in overlooked the golf course, but not enough wall sockets, and problems with connecting to internet, which took 24 hours to resolve. Bathroom clean and fluffy towels, but a wide lip to get in to the over head shower in the bath, additional hand holds might be better, or just a walk shower. Breakfast ok. Pool did not open until 10 am and closed at 7.30 which seems very strange in the height of summer. We booked for dinner, a very helpful waitress (Jacqueline) served us, very enjoyable experience. Overall enjoyable, but the hotel needs some TLC.

Once was enough
This is a big hotel but there seemed to be few guests. Nobody smiled. It was either just opening again having been closed or was about to close. No food available in the big bar but the pool bar served food till late. Breakfast was poor and uncomfortable. Would not stay again

A reasonable location for this established hotel. This review reflects the value I feel was offered. Comfortable, quiet, friendly and with a lovely pool to enjoy, I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Het personeel was vriendelijk. Hotel was erg gedateerd, zowel interieur als kamers. Het ontbijt was heel karig, weinig keus, vleeswaren en kaas lagen te 'zweten' op een plankje, koffie en thee uit een automaat. Je moest zelf je tafel dekken buiten, kreeg geen hulp daarbij. Bedden waren wel goed! Dit was meer een 3 sterren hotel. We zullen hier zeker niet terugkeren.

Hotel rooms did not look the same as in the advertised pictures. Room stayed in wasn’t very clean and below standards for the hotel rating. Had no air-conditioning for 4 days and was only their for 5! Upgraded to another room after first night because one first given was shabby and dated. Was surprised to see that the upgraded room was very similar to first. Would not stay in this hotel again. The golf course itself was lovely and the views from the balcony room to the golf course were wonderful.

Great location, great balcony with room, decor in rooms a bit tired but fine, only downside was the ac is centrally controlled so you can’t turn it up or down to suit you. Delicious coffee in the bar!

Clean room, attentive staff. Decor needs a bit of work, particularly in the bar/restaurant area - chairs are old and it shows. Location is ok but it is far from centre of town. Enjoyable stay and I’ll stay there again when I’m in town.
