Quel magnifique hôtel, très bien situé. La piscine, les saunas, la demi-pension, tout est absolument parfait ! Notre coup de coeur de notre voyage en Bavière. A recommander les yeux fermés !

Es passt einfach das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen im Bereich der Zimmer. Die sind leider etwas muffig und die Luft darin ist eher schlecht. Spa Bereich ist OK .. Restaurant war top. Alles in allem OK - aber eben nicht für den Preis

Truly outstanding stay. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming and really made us feel comfortable and at home throughout. Location was superb and Food was very good. Will be sure to visit again!!

Nice area good property
Staff is very friendly. Spa is fantastic. Restaurant is terrific; breakfast is wonderful though dinner could have more menu options. Our patio faced the dumpsters and the area where employees took their smoke break, but we didn’t realize it until we had unpacked. Disappointing given the price of the rooms. Maybe the employees should go off site to smoke? That was more unpleasant than the dumpsters.

Spa & Health Resort without availability
Marketed as a relaxing Alpine getaway but did not deliver. Great view, nice room and good food but without access to the health services a total waste of money.

Wir sind begeistert von der wunderbaren Lage, direkt am See. An der Hotelanlage läuft der Rad und Wanderweg vorbei, so dass man einen autofreien Urlaub genießen kann. Wir haben uns im Hotel Sommer sehr wohl gefühlt, alles war einfach perfekt.

Suite 40 - nie wieder
Die Suite 40 ist groß aber für unsere Begriffe komplett lieblos eingerichtet, mit Aussicht auf den Parkplatz und direkt über dem Radfahrverleih (sehr laut!). Die Einrichtung der Suite 40 entspricht überhaupt nicht den Fotos auf Hotels.com. Internet Verbindung fällt immer wieder aus. Frühstücksbüffet ist ok, aber für unsere Empfindung ist die Auswahl recht gering. Aber schmutzige Tischdecken (Speisereste) zu Beginn um 07:30 ist für ein 4Sterne Hotel nicht ok. Bei einem Preis pro Nacht von €400.- zusätzlich €6.- für die Garage zu verlangen, finden wir nicht passend.

The reception staff was very friendly when we arrived. I tried (struggled) to speak German to check in and he was kind enough to speak English without a pause. The breakfast buffet was great and the views were incredible. I wish I had more time to spend at the bar (it was hopping when we arrived!) and the spa amenities. Just outside of Fuessen but not too far from downtown (not walking distance though). Short drive to the castles

Good only for wellness visits
Unless you're going there for spa needs it is not going to be a pleasant stay. We got a room with backyard but so did evrry other room and there so much smoking going on that we could hardly open our backyard door for few mins. Breakfast was amazing with countless options. If you're planning for just an overnight stay there are many less expensive and comfortable options in Fussen or even near the castle.

Repos au bord d’un lac.
Hôtel est bien tenu, magnifique SPA, 2 piscines, bon massage et délicieuse nourriture. Tout est bien dans cet hôtel: calme au bord du lac et l’environnement très agréable.

We spend only one night in the hotel. Everything was obsoletely wonderful from check in to dinner and later in the pool and spa. Hotel is in the great location and very accommodating. We wish to come back one more time. We would like to recommend this place for all travelers.

The value for the money was not there. The bathroom was very small. The hallways were dark and had a funny flooring. This was our most expensive hotel on our trip and the least favorite.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Traumhafte Aussicht auf die Berge. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt, zustellbett für dritte Person war wie gewünscht vorbereitet. Das Personal an der Rezeption sowie im Restaurant ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Total gefreut hat uns auch die nette Überraschung am Geburtstag meiner Oma im Restaurant. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch am Abend waren wir jedes Mal begeistert vom Essen. Der Wellness Bereich ist einfach nur super schön und die Massagen waren toll, es wird sogar auf die individuellen Probleme (z.b. Verspannter Nacken) eingegangen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

1. The room is great. Just need to be careful when you dine in the restaurant. Your server may add some more dishes to the bill that you didn’t order. We don’t understand German, we almost pay for 36 eur more to the bill that we didn’t order at all. Also, the server is not being patient when we try to order food. 2. When we were checking out the room, the front desk asked me if I have credit cards other than American Express. I asked the front desk staff if the hotel doesn’t accept American Express as payment, they said “Yes”. As I told them I don’t have any other credit cards than American Express. They just swiped my American Express credit card and the credit card went through!! I’m not sure why they were lying about this, but apparently they do take American Express, they just don’t want to. Overall, other than the restaurant experience and the credit card issue, the hotel experience is alright. At least the room is very nice and clean.

Worst hotel in the world / 世界で最悪のホテル。信用できない。
Stayed this nightmare hotel with my family. We wake up because of construction (drill etc.) 8 in the morning right in front of our room. They open the door and stepped in our room while we are out for breakfast at hotel restaurant. They were at our room when we comes back and told us the sign was "Please clean the room" so they stepped in and was doing construction in our room. This is non-sense. We travelling around the our and never put "clean the room when we go out. especially, this hotel sign is red and green, so easy to recognize. I am an auditor for long time never mistake for this thing. Anyway, '1. Check out is 1030, Do I need to ask them to clean the room ? one hour before check out ? 2. Even if it was "Clean the room", Construction and cleaning is same of think at this hotel ? Further more, I claimed this situation at front desk but, they do not listen my word and they just protect what contractor told them. Front desk staff threw invoice to me and said "bye bye !" This is the way of think of this hotel. They can do anything and tell "sign was please clean the room", it is so scare. 気を付けて下さい。家族旅行で泊まりました。 チェックアウトの朝、"Do not disturb"にして、ホテルのレストランに朝食に行き、戻ったら工事業者３人が部屋に勝手に入り、色々な場所をチェックしていました。"掃除して"のサインだったので入った。といいますが。貴重品や色々な物がありました。チェックアウト時にフロントで文句を言うと、業者を保護するだけで、しまいには領収書を私に投げつけ"バイバーィ"と言いました。 もし女性通しで泊まる場合など気を付けてください。その他いつ部屋に入っても、"掃除して'だったで済ませる可能盛大です。 普通に考えても、チェックアウトの１時間半前に”掃除して"にしますか？また万が一そうでも掃除と工事は一緒ですか？ とてもレベルが低く。気を付けなければならないホテルです。 まだ片田舎のB&Bの方が全然安心です。

Great winter break at Hotel Sommer
Lovely hotel overall - location by the lake, big rooms with a local style, clean and well serviced. Breakfast buffet was also very good and it was nice to have a view of the mountains.

Rundum sehr zufrieden.....
Sehr nettes ,freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.-lustiger Kellner.... Frühstück bis 10.30 Uhr ist super für langschläfer. Schöne geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Wellness-Bereich ok.Massagen sind noch ausbaufähig. Leider etwas wenig Parkplätze vorm Hotel -aber ausweichmöglichkeit in der Tiefgarage. Tolle stabile Fahrräder zum ausleihen. Super Gutscheine auf der Gästekarte. Dieses Hotel werde ich weiterempfehlen. Dankeschön für schöne Urlaubstage.

Beyond Expectations
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Hotel Sommer. The resort was well maintained and beautifully situated at the base of the Bavarian Alps. The hotel and restaurant staffs were friendly, knowledgeable of the area and attractions, and always willing to assist us. The hotel is within walking distance to Fussen, a 5 minute ride to the castles, and 30 minutes from the Zugspitz.
