Having the room cleaned was not automatic. The Spa is not super convenient having to ask staff to power on the sauna and steam room. The staff was great and very welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the town and the ski departure area. Breakfast was great also.

The staff were not that helpful on arrival. Booking for a family which was confirmed prior to arrival they set the room up for two adults and two babies.

An Excellent Choice of Hotel for our Ski Trip
A very well positioned hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of town and the main ski lifts. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well maintained. A great bar, spa and breakfast are also provided. It is the staff however, that are truly outstanding. Very welcoming, friendly and so willing to assist.

I visited Les Gets as a solo traveller and chose Chamois d'Or for my stay. From the start, the booking process was very easy. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and couldn't do more. The hotel was tastefully decorated throughout with some gorgeous antique furniture. My room was homely and comfortable with a very comfortable bed (the most important part!). The bar was lovely and the cocktails superb, really good quality. Luckily I'm back next weekend so I can catch up on the Espresso Martini I never had time for :) The ONE thing that I would have loved to see is tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I brought my own, I always need a lot of cuppa's. Then this hotel would be complete :) Thank you all for making my stay so lovely

Nice hotel and friendly staff
Very nice hotel and good location. Staff were all young and very friendly, gave good advice on restaurants and other details in town. The spa area was pleasant and well maintained even though the hot pool was cold some evenings. Would stay here again.

Extremely Disappointing!
Swimming pool is a very hot jacuzzi bath not a swimming pool cannot do ‘swimming’ sauna didn’t work majority of time, steam room controls made it too hot, had to ask staff to turn on they were not on all the time, took ages to heat up when working, 24 hours notice at least to book for dinner in restaurant, unnecessary noise from constant door banging/rattling made for a restless sleep, never anyone on reception, rooms very small especially for a family, beds uncomfortable and lumpy, no tea/coffee making facilities had to make several requests for this, I could go on...

Chamois D'Or just great
Great location for this lovely boutique hotel. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, particularly Will. Would highly recommend. Only area for improvement is that breakfast could be a bit more interesting versus the usual but that is a minor point.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by one of the hotel owners. She was friendly, took the time to introduce herself and offered. About my short stay you were treated as if you were the only guest, the service was 2nd to none, nothing was too much hard work. The hotel staff were polite and would genuinely stand and have a conversation with you. Uchitel everyone was happy working there, and the service was genuine .

Séjour authentique et confortable à la montagne.
Superbe hôtel rénové alliant le style chalet savoyard et modernité. Très cosy et confortable, bien situé à 5 minutes à pied des remontées mécaniques. Accueil chaleureux, le personnel est aux petits soins, très souriant et fait l'effort de parler français. Joli spa, un peu petit, mais vraiment agréable après une journée de ski. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Le personnel est présent et attentif à ce qu'il y ait toujours assez de tout (nourriture, vaisselle) au buffet pendant l'horaire du petit-déjeuner.

Personnel très sympathique et très attentionné. Service au top tout en restant décontracté. Belles chambres. Déco rustique/contemporaine/pop. Calme. Magnifique spa/jacuzzi/piscine/hammam en accès libre. Resto/bar attenant (Le Boomerang) très cool également. Excellent établissement.

Cet hôtel a été rénové en 2019, il est magnifique. Les chambres sont typiques en bois. Le SPA est très joli et équipé d'un très grand jacuzzi. Très bon accueil et service.

Lovely Hotel. Perfect location right in centre of les gets. 5min walk to cable car to take you up to the slopes. Staff cant do enough for you and English speaking. Will definitely be going back.

Tres bon hotel bien situé et agtreable
Hotel tres agréable, personnel charmant, piscine spa sympa: Je recommande. Par contre mauvaise surprise a notre arrivée, l'hotel que nous avions reservé initialement via hotel.com et qui devait se situer a 9kms de Morzine ( cf site) se trouvait a 1h35 en voiture de Morzine !!! ( erreur sur le site. Heureusement hotel.com a annuler et prise en charge les 2 nuit et nous a retrouvé apres recherche le Chamois d'or a 6Kms. Tout est donc rentré dans l'ordre.

Lovely hotel, modern interior, fabulous staff
Staff were extremely helpful. Really nice touches, not expereinced in other Les Gets hotels - afternoon tea, snacks and drinks available all day. Modern interior, also in contrast to other hotels we have stayed in. Envlish TV channels available and good wifi connection.

Very nice hotel. Goodbye location in the heart of Les Gets. Easy to find, easy parking. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic meals and very good value. Bar area nice. Wifi very good. Hotel room comfortable and clean. No complaints at all.

Great family friendly hotel for a ski trip
We stayed with 2 kids at the hotel for 5 nights. The best thing about the stay was the staff, who were incredibly helpful with all our needs and questions. It was a family friendly hotel with a great spa/swimming pool for after a day's skiing. The room was a little on the small side for 2 adults and 2 young children but we coped fine. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant also.

Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix
Une nuit pour les 30 ans de mon conjoint. Accueil très sympathique, les jeunes employés font leur maximum pour nous satisfaire. Cependant le rapport qualité/prix est mauvais. 420€ en 1/2 pension, pour une toute petite chambre avec des tâches aux murs et des rideaux qui tombent à moitié. Pas de plateau de courtoisie en chambre. Aucune attention en chambre ou au resto pour les 30 ans de mon conjoint. Je ne comprends pas toutes les éloges lues sur internet concernant le restaurant. Rien de spécial pour un prix complètement exagéré. Le spa (immense jacuzzi, sauna et hammam en panne + 4 chaises longues) pourraient être très agréable si tout fonctionnait et si les autres clients n'y hurlaient pas. Très mal dormi à cause des gens qui crient dans les couloirs et chambres jusqu'à 1h du matin et ensuite c'est au tour du bruit des déneigeuses. Bref je suis très déçue d'avoir offert ce séjour à mon chéri pour ces 30 ans. Tu vas voir, on va dans un bel hôtel et pour une fois on reste dans notre région en Haute-Savoie... la honte !

Accueil par le gérant ivre,le personnel ne parle pas le français,les soirées nocturnes durent jusqu'à 4h du matin,salle de bain sans eau chaude... Le camping en serait plus agréable...
