The hotel was a good place to stay within a convenient walking distance of the centre (restaurants, shops, activities). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, even helping us out when our hire car had a tyre pressure warning light. An excellent breakfast was provided though full restaurant facilities were not available in the summer owing to difficulties hiring staff. The décor might benefit from an update but our room (no. 5) was perfectly adequate, clean, comfortable and had a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. We would stay at Le Soly again.

Stayed for L’étape as were a few others staying. Breakfast put on at 4am for us and so accommodating having somewhere for the bike and looking after us!

This hotel is excellent value. Staff are really nice and friendly, all areas are clean and tidy, bathroom recently renovated, shower lovely and hot, great ski storage room. A short 5-10 minute walk to the village centre. Could not fault this place, thinking of returning in the summer. Thanks for a great stay.

End of ski season solo weekend.
A solo ski weekend . Nice and quiet at the end of the ski season . Great breakfast with loads of fruit . I like a healthy breakfast . The bus stop for the Pleney lift was just metres away . Price was very competitive.

Nice, clean hotel - good location a short walk from the centre. Quiet room with a balcony overlooking the river. Great breakfast!

Good family run hotel. Bedroom clean and quiet. Hotel close to bus stop for bus to ski lifts to Morzine and Avoriaz. Buffet breakfast fine. Ski storage room very good.

Je recommande fortement ce petit hôtel très bien situé à proximité du centre de Morzine. N’hésitez pas à demander des conseils aux propriétaires des lieux. Nous avons apprécié la vue de notre chambre, la piscine après les journées de randonnées.

Bon établissement
Etablissement de charme. Accueil agréable. Chambre avec balcon donnant sur la nature et un torrent. Accessible à pied pour aller dans le centre ville. Excellent petit déjeuner. On n'a pas pu profiter de la piscine extérieur et du jardin à cause de la pluie mais le lieu est accueillant.

Pas mal, 3 étoiles...?
L’accueil correct, sans effusion particulière . Chambre très petite, mais pour une nuit , ça va. Dommage ke restaurant ce soir là était inopérant . Heureusement que la température du secteur était fraîche. S’il avait fait chaud, je n’aurais pas pU ouvrir la fenêtre, le torrent « la Manche » en contrebas Fais un bruit d’enfer . Même tout fermé on entend. Petit dej correct . C très vintage !

A great stay, the couple running the hotel went above and beyond and collected us from the lift when the busses stopped running unexpectedly one evening. Great breakfast too and a really nice family vibe.

Homely hotel
Friendly english speaking staff. Hotel is excellently situated close to the ski bus, and is a 10min walk to the heart of Morzine. Our room was homely, but in need of modernisation, although this in no way detracted from a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Morine, and if possible, ask for a room with a balcony, which overlooks a delightful stream to the rear of the property.

Great hotel, short walk to free bus service into Le Plenny lift area, staff very friendly and helpful, family run hotel so nothing was a problem, food was excellent both breakfast & dinner, room was very clean, beds comfy, bathroom had both bath & shower, room was warm with a balcony view. Overall very happy with our stay, recommended

Great little hotel
Had a lovely little stay at this hotel for a couple of days, great setting, close to town, brilliant breakfast, nice little garden and pool. Couldn’t fault it really, also a great little games room and TV room so you had somewhere to chill out when the weather wasn’t brilliant.

Start of ski season stay
Hotel is nice, rooms are on the smaller side. Only issue was that the bed/mattress is rock hard and there was only one very thin pillow each resulting in poor sleep. Only one night stay - not sure I could have managed two in that bed with those pillows.

Basic noisy hotel
Very noisy! Both guests and housekeepers slamming doors, no consideration given that not everyone is up at the crack of dawn. The main staff seemed nice but there was one girl who wouldn’t even say hello and actively ignored us, very rude.

Lovely family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms. Hot water for baths. Delicious breakfast lots of choice. Fondue evening delicious. A short walk to the bus stop,allowing for easy access to the ski lifts.

New Year Morzine Group
Very basic and immaculately clean hotel. Beds are quite small and I’m only 5ft 9ins. Good location 10 min walk to Plenny ski lift and centre of town. The staff were all very nice but it did feel a little like you were intruding at times so a bit weird. Good choice of breakfast. Good budget hotel
