Close to the resort centre and walking discrance to the ski lifts, the family run hotel has everything we needed and more. The bar areas and restaurant were excellent and the service was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in all respects.

Excellent sejour et qualite-prix
Excellent hotel gere par une meme famille depuis plusieurs generations. Accueil et service topissimes, et buffet de petit dejeuner paradisiaque. L’hotel dispose aussi d’un restaurant ou nous avons tres bien mange a un prix tout a fait raisonnable vu la categorie d’hotel. En conclusion: nous y retournerons sans hesiter l’ete prochain. En hiver, l’espace piscine-spa est certainement assez vite surpeuple, vu sa petite taille (piscine interieure).

Un super séjour dans cet hôtel de tradition. Personnel très attentionné, petit déjeuner super, spa et piscine très agréables. Les chambres sont très confortables,literie de bonne qualité. La location de skis sur place est vraiment un plus. Le seul bemol un wifi inaccessible

Fabulous hotel in the centre of Chatel with easy access to and from. Great wellness centre, boot/ski room and cosy communal lounges. Complimentary buses run right outside the hotel to and from various ski lifts every ten minutes. We would stay again!!!

Hôtel très bien situé, près du centre et du télécabine .le cadre est magnifique. Il est très bien décoré dans l’esprit chalet Cocoon. L’accueil au top, le personnel est adorable et les petits dej sont excellents (fait maison et produits locaux) . L’hotel est également equipe d’un sauna, d’un hammam, d’un jacuzzi et d'une piscine . Bref ,hôtel parfait pour un séjour magique à la montagne .

Lovely family run ski hotel
Lovely stay at this hotel in the middle of Chatel. Staff very friendly. Rooms nice and clean, we had a an apartment-style room (room 14-15), 2-beds, small hall and bathroom ideal for families. Breakfasts were great and pancakes in the bar after skiing were excellent!

Consistently good
A second trip, same good experience from a friendly team. Clean tidy with good facilities - rooms a little small but comfortable. We ate in the restaurant this time - perhaps a little pricey but good food and surroundings. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel, great ski facilities
This was our second stay at the Macchi. Once again we were impressed by the welcome from the staff. Ollivier in particular was extremely helpful in preparing our rented skis and boots and shuttling us to and from the slopes every day- his excellent advice and local knowledge was a great help ensuring we gained the most from our skiing. The hotel has a great spa to recover in and a bar with a log fire- perfect to end the day.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dont le réveillon: hotel très bien situé dans la station: un vrai chalet de montagne, accueil chaleureux et sympathique. LA chambre était correcte, un peu petite mais décorée avec goût , par contre la salle de bain manque d'attention: pas de tapis de bain ( sur un sol en carrelage..) , pas de shampoing , pas de conditionner, le gel douche est en grand tube, ma bouteille était vide: il m'a fallu la réclamer 3 fois: dommage !!! Pour le reste : rien à redire: Spa correct et bien entretenu, salle de gym également , petit déjeuner copieux, dirigė a la baguette par le patron très agréable et attentionné .

Excellent value for money
We really enjoyed the sauna, hammam, swimming pool, the warm chalet-style decoration, the friendly staff, the large and well equipped, clean rooms, the warm welcome for our dog. The spacious dinning room had an interesting menu, the food was excellent and the waiters very professional. An indian-style massage service is proposed in a beautiful area downstairs and we found it to be of excellent quality. Throughout the hotel different scents are used to create a very pleasant environment. Our criticisms are minor: there is no hand basin in the separate toilet, we prefer a softer bed. Excellent value for money.

Good Service
Our late check in was easy to arrange. We hired skies and boots direct from the hotel which was very convenient and were dropped at the main lift station by the hotels mini bus. The leisure facilities were good. Family room a little small for 4. Breakfast quite nice but expensive.

Overall, a good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Spa area is good although out of season the pool was cool. The gym facility is limited with dated equipment. Rooms are traditionally decorated, but comfortable and spacious enough. A kettle would be a bonus although the hotel provided one with cups changed daily when asked. Reception staff were knowledgeable and very informative with a welcoming demeanour.

Rien à dire, je cherchais avec mon amie un petit séjour tranquille au calme sans trop de monde. Résultat: piscine intérieur + jaccuzzi + hammam + sauna => on était que tout les deux! :D Concernant la chambre, grande + jolie + propre + tout équipé bref rien à dire. Concernant le personnel rien à dire non plus nickel et discret. Restauration => Gastronomique (plats + services) pour des prix correct... Concernant les soins avec massage par un couple d'indien et là je me répète rien à dire, très sympas, très accueillant juste parfait... Allez le seul problème mais il est très très loin d'être le seul (d’hôtel spa) sont les prix mais bon je ne peut pas critiquer là dessus surtout que le rapport qualité prix ici et impeccable. Bref ceux qui cherchent un endroit calme, perdu pour de la détente pur et dur je le conseil très fortement...

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig im Zentrum des Ortes Chatel. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Hotel "Macchi" mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
