Nice stay, kept spamming me after
I don't typically leave reviews. I had a nice stay, but then the property kept spamming my Hotels.com messaging center with ads to stay at other properties they own in Europe. I reported it to Hotels.com, but continued receiving spam, 3 messages in total, even a month after my stay. Thus I'm forced to leave a less than ideal review. Don't spam paying customers who did not agree to marketing communications.

Expérience désagréable
Nous avons fait le choix d’une résidence Pierre & Vacances car nous avions une expérience préalable agréable. En revanche, la résidence de l’Alpe d’Huez semble ne pas être entretenue. La propreté de l’appartement quand nous sommes arrivés était loin d’être parfaite.

Satisfaits de l’emplacement ,propreté.L’immeuble est un peu vieillot mais le rapport qualité /prix est correct.

It is a basic accommodation but has everything for your stay.
We enjoyed our stay.The negatives... It didn’t start well as I got a smack in the face from the pull out bed which split the inside of my lip. Quite traumatic at the time. I believe a warning on the handle would have been appropriate. One of the lifts had a faulty door which remained unfixed. A couple of the buttons on the floors were also broken. The room was basic, having to put our bed up each night. As we were on the street level it did get noisy with people coming back from their night out. The positives... the kitchen area had everything you could need for home cooking. The bath and shower were welcome after a days skiing. The ski room was good and handy to return to after skiing. The staff were helpful. Conveniently placed for the lifts and the shops.

Parfait !
Appartement au top pour un week-end à la montagne, avec une terrasse vue sur les massifs !!! Très bien situé, accueil téléphonique et explications parfaites ( nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit), pour un tarif raisonnable, je recommande cet établissement et y retournerai avec plaisir !

Overall ok
Overall the hotel is good value for money and in a good location (close to bars, restaurants and lifts if skiing). Ideal for a group of friends. Don't go expecting a five star hotel but it is a good base for a ski holiday

Affordable, Basic but good enough
Have stayed at L'ours Blanc several times, the combination of price and location has always been attractive. Well located in the middle of the town near to the ice rink, swimming pool, ski hire, restaurants and shopping. Access to the slopes is normally quite simple, either by bus or you can ski to a nearby lift and access the main slopes in around 10 minutes, although not this year due to lack of snow. The accommodation is basic and in need of a little refurbishment. The beds have firm foam mattresses which suited us, lots of storage space for clothes and at 500 square feet, just enough room for the 5 of us. The location is quiet, there is a hotel adjoining the residence where you can have breakfast which worked well. Apart from a lack of snow we had an enjoyable time and would return.

Helt greit leilighetshotell. Litt gammelt, men helt og pent. Passer nok bedre til skiferie enn TdF ferie. Da skulle komfor vært bedre:)

Meme pas la place pour poser sa valise. 200E la nuit pour etre au -3 (sur la route). Pas de parking disponible, le linge dans des sacs plastiques, les rideaux qui tombent, equipement incomplet du studio et tous les "facilities" eventuelles payantes (piscine notamment). Un code a partir de 22h00 alors que la porte de derriere est ouverte... Premiere et derniere experience Pierres et Vacances.

Smoking room - awful smell. Very basic, reflected in price. Good location in centre of town but overlooks grotty, dirty rooftop of shops below.. Staff friendly enough, but unable to accomodate request to hold room for two days when our trip plans changed and we were unsure if able to return to use room for nights already paid for - presumably because of poor head office customer service. Won't be going back, but would be ok for family doing in it the cheap.

Few Hotel Services; Dated Decor
This is more of a condo hotel then a real hotel with limited guest services (for example, no room service, no housekeeping, and front desk closes during the middle part of the day). They charge for everything beyond the room (Internet is 20€ week and only available in the lobby and 5€ to open the phone line). The rooms vary in decor and quality and the promised double bed was two twins.

hotel très bien situé dans l'alpes d'huez. Vue magnifique sur les sommets alentours.Piscine et patinoire juste à coté ainsi que pleins de petits commerces. Ambiance très familiale. Petit appartement pour 4/5 personnes tout confort avec balcon, petite chambre avec lit superposé pour les enfants et deux canapés lit dans la pièce principale, beaucoup de rangement et même un petit lave vaisselle. Salle de bains spacieuse avec baignoire et wc. Je recommande .
