Excellent affordable spot along the Amalfi Coast.
My son stayed here during our visit to Furore (Amalfi Coast) while my wife and I stayed nearby with friends. He had a great stay a and the host was very nice. A great view out his window as well!

Irma was a wonderful host and cook. She presented the yummy breakfast quite nicely. Very nice views from our room. Highly recommended if you have a car for your trip (a little too out of the way for public transportation)

Amazing place and host
The place is amazing and the views are stunning. Our room was beautiful and we had a terrace with an amazing ocean view and sun bed with a daily cleaning service that left it always super clean. The place has parking spots and a dinning room where we had very complete breakfasts with fruit, yogurt, crossaints, coffee, orange juice, bread and different options to choose. But what makes the place the most special is Irma. She is an amazing host and cook, always super attentive and kind. We had an amazing and insightful pasta class and dinner. And on top she recommended us a company who provided a transport service to and from the airport and who also rented us a scooter for our stay. Thank you so much Irma! You are amazing!

Traumhafter Blick über die Amalfi Küste. Sehr schöne Zimmer, super liebe Gastgeberin. Super Unterkunft. Um zur Küste zu gelangen, muss man mit dem Auto rund 20min einplanen.

Great location with a view
Very nice place to stay. The staff is kind and the rooms are large and clean. Also a great breakfast is served. Very good point if you have a car: there is a parking (not common in the region).

Lovely place to stay to see the Amalfi coast
We had a lovely stay here, well located away from the madness of the coastal towns, but close to all the main attractions. Very helpful hostess, nice breakfast. Lovely room with a great terrace.

Ce charmant B&B est le lieu idéal pour passer ses vacances sur la côte amalfitaine. Tout est parfait, le lieu calme et reposant, ma chambre jolie ment décorée et équipée, la vue extraordinaire lorsque l'on se prélasse sur la terrasse, le petit déjeuner rafiné et complet, et la possibilité de se garer dans le parking du B&B. Irma est une hôtesse généreuse et très souriante. Nous regrettons même de ne pas pouvoir y passer encore plusieurs nuits.

El hotel es comodo, pequeño pero es lindo, con vistas espectaculares. Las encargadas nos recibieron muy bien, son muy atentas y resuelven cualquier pregunta. Hay que considerar que no sirven cena y que el restaurant mas cercano esta a 1 km caminando por lo cual no es buena opcion mover el auto, ya que esta dificil estacionar en la zona.

Spectacular views but cold showers...
I think the hotel can be summed up by a few pros and cons.. Pros: The view is amazing from the hotel, it's very quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is pretty decent and the host is very friendly. Cons: My main disappointment was the shower, it wasn't able to sustain hot water for any length of time.. you would have to wait a while for a short burst of hot water and then it would go cold again.. There was only wifi in the lobby which is not a big problem but if you like staying connected then maybe somewhere would be better. The location is pretty remote, it is in the middle of the hill and will take around 30min to drive from town of Amalfi and it's in a very narrow Lane down a slope (don't drive a big car!!) Overall the shower was a massive let down but it's warm in Amalfi coast so not as big of a problem as otherwise would be.

Vacanza fuori dal tempo.
Abbiamo soggiornato 3 gg. ( 2 notti ). Ci è stata assegnata una camera con bagno molto grande , ben arredata , pulita e con un panorama mozzafiato (bellissimo). Colazione abbondante con marmellate prodotte dal gestore, pane fresco con anche il latte di avena. Consigliatissimo per chi ama una vacanza lontano dal caos ed in pieno relax.

Tolles B&B mit herrl.Blick ü. die Amalfi Küste
Ein sehr schön gelegenes B&B mit Blick auf die Amalfi Küste. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit herrlicher Dachterrasse, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht: Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm und wem es zu heiß wird, sogar eine Aussendusche. Es wird ein sehr opulentes Frühstück am Tisch serviert und Cappuccino zum Abwinken... Verwalterin Irma gibt Tipps zu Ausflügen, Busfahrten ect. Steile Abfahrt mit dem Auto, direkt oberhalb befindet sich die Bushaltestelle. Amalfi und Positano sind gut mit dem Bus oder Schiff erreichbar.Einziges Manko: es gibt keine durchgehende Matratze.

The best view on the Amalfi coast
This lovely b&b is nearly 400metres abot sea level and our room had a huge balcony, with chairs, tables and sun loungers, overlooking the coastline. Opening the balcony doors and walking out to see blue sky, turquoise sea and small boats sailing along the coastline started every day with a smile. Breakfast was huge, enough to last youmost of the day. Although it is up in the mountains it is only a 20 minute bus ride from Amalfi. You can use public buses or the staff will book you on to a private minibus service into town.

Ein sehr schönes B&B, das aufgrung seiner Höhenlage über dem Meer angenehm ruhig ist. Die während des Tages anwesende Betreiberin, ist sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. So bietet sie z.B. auf Nachfrage auch Kochkurse für die Gäste an und hilft bei der Tagesplanung.

A little piece of heaven !
What a wonderful place to stay. The views were marvellous. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful prepared by a wonderful host. Only comment on the negative was that more drawer space was needed and also a full length mirror. I would recommend to anyone. You will need a car or strong legs.

Amazing host Irma. The hotel is an ideal getaway , but still accessible to all the small towns around. Above all, the breakfasts, all made by Irma, are wonderful. Will stay again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous View, Great Base to Explore Amalfi Coast
We found this hotel/B&B to be perfect for our needs. Irma upgraded us to a double room with private terrace which had a gorgeous view. Furore and this hotel is well up the mountain from the coast road and so it is like being perched on the side of a mountain with a bird's eye view of the coast and sea below. Our hostess, Irma was absolutely amazing. The day before our arrival, she had suffered a serious burn to her face in the kitchen. An injury that would have had most owners closing their resort, but Irma kept right on, smiling through the pain and working tirelessly to provide an excellent stay for us. Her breakfast was delicious with her homemade breads and jams. She is so kind about offering travel advice about what to see and helping to organize restaurant reservations etc. We were most impressed with her as a hostess and as a wonderful person. The room is spacious, with a bar fridge, TV and very comfortable bed and a walkout to our own private and secluded terrace, the view from which is breathtaking! It is a small hotel and so very quiet with only a few other guests. There is free parking a short distance away, but it is a bit of a climb to get to it. Also, there are steps down from the road making it difficult to get your luggage in and there are steps from the room to the breakfast and reception area, which would be challenging for some, but that is not unusual in Amalfi, which seems to be nothing but steps. All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Die Betten und Kopfkissen sind zwar etwas hart, aber alles andere ist hervorragend. Gute italienische Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit teilweise selbstgemachten Zutaten. Kochkurse möglich. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Sehr guter persönlicher Service, der nie aufdringlich wird. Das Echo aus dem Jahre 800 ist sehr zu empfehlen.

From Positano you must keep asking for directions unless you speak Italian - sign language helped ! Upon arrival ( tiny sign ) there is no direct parking. Down 4 flights of steps to owner;s place- then up 3 flights to room. On the good side - beautiful view - great breakfast - nice help.- clean room

A little haven of tranquility
Amazing, beautiful and breath taking are some of the words I would use to describe our stay at this beautiful house. The views on the sea view balcony room we choose were mesmerising. The room is beautifully decorated and furnished and has a lovely comfortable bed and facilities. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to explore the amalfi coast or blue grotto attraction.

Excellent stay
Great area for exploring this coast with fantastic views as high on a hill, but unless you don't (we didn't) mind walking up and down the hillside (45 walk down steps to small beach) or using bus, you will need a car. A few really nice eating places in the area but again an average 20 minute walk to these along/up/down hillside.

Hotel staff was very very nice. The breakfast was great. They served, hard boiled eggs, bread, butter, jams, cafe/cappuccino, juice, water, fruit tarts, chocolate muffins, oranges, and i'm sure i'm leaving something else out. The room was very nice and large, with a great view of the Med. Bed was big and comfortable. The shower had one of the overhead rain type shower heads. The overall size of the shower wasn't huge but it was a very pleasant experience, which many European showers are not.

Fantastische Lage!! Super Hotel!
Das Hotel, befindet sich an einer Super Lage es ist Traumhaft das Morgenessen auf der Terrasse zu geniessen. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, die Strassen sind etwas eng aber es ist absolut zumutbar. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Mit dem Bus welcher zu Fuss in 4 min zu erreichen ist kommt man in 30 min günstig (2,20 Euro) nach Amalfi, von dort gibt es verschiedene Touren nach Capri, Sorento oder Napoli. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig man kann praktisch alles bestellen, es ist alles frisch und Homemade und es gibt selber gemachte Marmelade aus Amalfi Zitronen oder feigen aus dem Hauseigenen Garten. Wir hatten einen erholsamen ruhigen und Fantastischen Urlaub im Hotel L'Eco dell'800!

A very simple B&B which we could not fault. Its a perfect half-way to explore the whole area from Sorrento to Salerno, and perfectly situated between Amalfi to the east and Positano to the west. Irma, our 'landlady' could not have been more helpful. Breakfasts were a delight on the terrace every morning (sure, we had the right weather for it), home made pastries and marmalades were the highlight. Our room was clean and spacious, with ensuite and roof terrace with stunning view over the ocean - great if you want private sunbathing. But there is so much to see in the coastal towns nearby there was little time to sunbathe, and Irma was so helpful with directions, best places, where to get the great value all-day bus tickets, etc. Its VERY steep in the whole area, dont be put off by the difficulty of manoevring a car, its the same anywhere here!

Our Favorite Stay in Italy!
L'Eco dell'800 is the most amazing bed and breakfast! The rooms are gorgeous, unique, clean and modern. Our room had a private terrace and it took our breath away to see the view! Irma takes such good care of her guests, and included many personal touches to make our stay so special. Her breakfasts are delicious, and she uses much from her own farm (amazing lemon preserves!) and gardens on the premise which we absolutely loved. The town of Furore is so sweet and fun to travel to, and also has nice restaurants nearby. It is nice, since it is up high on the mountain, that there is a convenient place to park. We stayed at 10 different places in Italy on our honeymoon, but this was our favorite. We hope we can come back and stay here again someday!

soggiorno davvero soddisfacente, camera col terrazzo vista mare semplicemente magnifico. siamo stati solo due notti, ma sicuramente da considerare anche per un soggiorno più lungo. posizione molto tranquilla, ottima per staccare dalla frenesia e caos di grandi città, e un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare la costiera. l'unico neo è che serve cmq la macchina e per arrivarci bisogna fare un po di strada di montagna, ma è tutto fattibile. se dovessimo tornare in costiera, sicuramente sceglieremo nuovamente questa struttura.

traumhafte Aussicht
Ich war eine Woche dort, mit der Vespa, Irma hat mir von sich aus kostenlos das Abstellen der Vespa in der Garage angeboten, was nicht nur der Sicherheit diente, sondern auch noch beim Bepacken der Vepa angenehm war, weil es in der Garage angenehm kühl ist. Irma ist übrigens nicht, wie man meinen könnte, eine alte grauhaarige Frau, sondern eine ausgesprochen hübsche und freundliche junge Italienerin. Fast genauso schön ist die traumhafte Aussicht von der Terasse aus. Das Frühstück ist extrem gut, Marmelade und köstlicher Kuchen neben Schinken, Käse, Ei, Nuttella usw. Die Zimmer sind nicht 5 qm groß, wie beschrieben, sondern natürlich 5 x 5 m = 25 qm, sehr sauber, sehr grosse Terasse. Auch die Tips von Irma zu Badestrand, Supermarkt und Restaurant (sehr zu empfehlen und freundlich: "Bianca Zita"), Tankstelle (ca 3 km nach oben in Agerola) waren sehr hilfreich, WLAN vorhanden, kleiner Kühlschrank, sehr schönes Badezimmer. Allein die Anfahrt über die kurvenreiche kleine Bergstraße nach Furore ist ein Genuß für jeden Biker. Auch hat Irma entgegen der Stornierungsvereinbarung doch einen deutlichen Preis-Nachlass gegeben, als ich wg Vespa-Reperatur und Warten auf Ersatzteil in Gemona (bei Udine) erst 1 Tag verspätet anreisen konnte. Die Amalfiküste ist für den Motorradfahrer tatsächlich so schön, wie erhofft (dazu aber der Tip: bitte sehr vorsichtig fahren, in Süditalien gilt offenbar die Verkehrsregel "jeder ist selbst für seinen Tod bzw sein Leben verantwortlich"). 5 Sterne !

Wir wurden von einem ganz herzlichen und aufmerksamen kleinen, familiären Servives-Team betreut. Das kleine Hotel liegt wunderbar: Hanglage mit Fernblick. Zwei von vier Zimmern mit Loggia. Einfach Labsam für die Seele! Wir möchten anregen 2 bequeme Stühle auf die Loggia vor das Hotelzimmer zu stellen. Dann kann man noch besser die wunderbare Aussicht geniessen.

Best of Mediterranean sea ever
Hotel staff is excellent, driving in the mountains however was proven not to be for me. Call those street narrow is not enougth maybe tiny streets would be better
