가격대비 좋은호텔~
두번째 포지타노 방문이어서 위치나 시설을 어느정도 예상하고 예약함. 반드시 오션뷰를 예약을 할것. 그러면 창문너머보이는 경관에 감탄할수 있음~. 밤에 테라스에서 멋진경관을보며 맥주한잔 마시면 좋음. 다만 굳이 따지자면 이쪽사이드보다는 반대쪽사이드에서 보는 이쪽을 바라보는뷰가 더 이쁘고 주변상권도 더 발달되어있으므로 가격대비생각하여 결정하면 좋을듯함.

포세이돈 호텔에서 2박 보냈는데요,, 뷰가 좋고 깔끔했어요. 다들 전반적으로 어느 정도는 괜찮았어요. 조식도 적당했구요. 너무 좋았다라고 얘기할 정도는 아니지만 다들 평균 이상은 되는 호텔이었어요!!

This hotel is beautifully located in Positano. The rooms are clean and the view is spectacular! Must get a room with a view!! Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfasts are amazing!! I will definitely be going back.

Truly an excellent stay. Staff went above and beyond the entire time. Blew me away with an incredible upgrade, fabulous dining, and the best view in Positano. Historic and full of charming atmosphere, but comfortable for the modern traveler. The bed was a delight, and they will soften or firm it to your liking. Deep soaking tub, large terrace, memorable food. Don’t miss!

The location of the hotel is great. It has a beautiful view of Positano. With 15 minute walk you get to the shops and restaurants. There is only one restaurant near the hotel. The room’s furniture is very old and overall didn’t worth the price and they are very strict about having a guest at the hotel which was very strange as Positano is a place to reunite with your friends. The room service menu is very limited. Housekeeping team was fantastic. They work so hard for guests to enjoy their stay.

Wonderful views from our room which gave a surreal feeling whenever we went on the balcony! Hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly. Restaurant/bar gave good vibes especially during the night, and their food was delicious! Only reason why I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because they charged for tea bags and coffee packets when we ran out of it in our room! Surely a lavish and expensive hotel such as this can provide basic tea and coffee for free. I’m assuming housekeeping would’ve replenished them if I didn’t put up the “do not disturb” sign, which begs the question why I was charged for it then? Apart from that, I highly recommend Hotel Poseidon!

Best stay ever
The best place to stay in positano. Great staff, great location, and everything in between. This stay was part of our honeymoon and we loved every second of it because the lovely staff were so helpful with everything and made our stay the best ever. Highly recommend this hotel. Much love!

Older Hotel with Great Restaurant and Views
The hotel restaurant and lounge area are great--spectacular views and good food! The hotel itself is clearly one of the older in Positano. It was repeatedly mentioned that despite its appearance the elevator was safe. Our bathroom was cramped with a very small shower--not what I would have expected for a room at this price point. Plugging in a hair dryer blew out a fuse on our first day so had to be careful about what we had plugged in. There was a storm one night and the wind caused a shutter outside to bang for a couple of hours which made it hard to sleep. Staff very helpful in setting up transportation.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Poseidon. The staff really does an amazing job and goes out of there way to make you feel as if you are staying in the family villa. Beautiful view from the pool area where breakfast is served daily. I highly recommend staying at the Poseidon if you are in Positano.

Experience exceeded expectations
Was very happy with our stay and accommodations! The hotel feels like you are a guest in an Italian Villa. The staff are attentive, but not overly and not in your face. The rooms and accommodations are classic Italian decor, but updated and clean. The amenities are thought through - complimentary beach bag and towels when needed, flip-flops, quality robes, towels, toiletries. The bar staff is friendly and the food and drinks excellent. The location can't be beat - the pool deck and views! proximity to the touristy shops and beach, but far enough up that you can avoid it all and instead visit the higher quality, excellent restaurants and shops going up the hill from the hotel. It has a direct stair access (long and steep) to the harbor to bypass the crowds. I was very happy with our stay and would love to return again.

The location is wonderful, which is very important in Positano, as they are close enough to walk to the beaches and restaurants easily. The staff is superb and are very knowledgeable about Positano and the Amalfi coast, and they are well-connected to other businesses in the area, which was so helpful during our stay in terms of booking excursions and reservations (especially during busy season!!). I could not recommend Hotel Poseidon enough!! Make sure you say hi to Tony by the pool, he is fantastic ! And be sure to try their restaurant, which is considered very authentic and delicious, even by local standards.

The property and staff were excellent, no complaints about them at all. Just the hotel was VERY expensive and to be honest, the rooms not very big and very Blah, your basic everyday room. For the amount of money you paid to stay here, you expect something more. For the money, would not recommend.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Positano. Within walking distance of everything. Staff was extremely accommodating. We noticed that the sliding door that led to our verandas did not lock, so they had a lock installed the next day. Breakfast was very nice, as was the pool. Very romantic ❤️.

Where to start. As beautiful the hotel is and as so well located as it is, it is still surpassed by the AMAZING staff! Wonderful people working in every capacity. Josie is the best. Liliana amazing Tony at the pool was our buddy. And of course the big Italian “bear” manager. Location can’t be best. Room was amazing. Food was tremendous. We will return!

We spent 6 nights at the Poseidon Hotel in Positano. The hotel offers magnificent views of the coast and of Positano itself. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful. The food in the dining room was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Poseidon in Positano. All staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The room with balcony afforded a wonderful view of Positano, and our daily breakfast was superb. We also ate dinner in the hotel dining room several nights and had wonderful meals each time. We were very pleased we made the choice to stay at this hotel.

We highly recommend it!
We could stay there for months! The staff was fantastic and friendly, especially Giancarlo and Aldo at reception and Lucca at the restaurant. As we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary they offered a bottle of prosecco when we arrived, which was really nice! The room was spacious and charming, with a comfortable bed, powerful AC, a large and very clean bathroom, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The included breakfast was amazing, with a great buffet, including mimosas, with the wonderful view of Positano and the sea, sitting in the beautiful outside area of ​​the restaurant. The hotel's location is excellent, near shops and restaurants. Photos do not do justice to the beauty of the place, it is much better in person. Very charming and beautiful, I can say that it is a 4.5 star hotel altogether and with excellent service. It was definitely the best stay of our trip, better than we imagined. We highly recommend it! Hyggelig sted, men Positano er overpriset.
Hotellet var meget hyggelig, men jeg syntes ikke det var verdt prisen, men det gjelder generelt Positano-hotellene. Poseidon Hotel var et koselig, særeget hotell som jeg kan anbefale hvis man har muligheten til å prioritere det. Vi hadde et koselig rom med sjøutsikt og balkong. Sengene var litt harde, men sov ellers godt. Godt utvalg til frokosten, og lunsjen var også bra. Ingenting å si på hotellet bortsett fra at jeg syntes det var litt vel dyrt. Men been there, done that.

We stayed here for 4 nights to end our 3 week honeymoon across Europe, and quite simply we couldn't have picked a better spot to end an unforgettable trip. The views from our suite's balcony and the common areas were breathtaking, we couldn't get enough of them. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, large TV, powerful A/C, big bathroom and of course the lovely private balcony with amazing views of lovely Positano and the sea. The staff were fantastic and friendly, especially Tony who was our server at the pool. The included breakfast was amazing, with a great buffet assortment as well as a station for made to order omelettes, pancakes and waffles. We had lunch at the pool most days, which offered a good assortment of food like sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers. Tony recommended we try the fried squid, which was delicious. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, Il Tridente, one night and the food and service were excellent. We enjoyed ending each night on the terrace cocktail bar with a fancy drink while admiring the spectacular views. The location is as convenient as can be in Positano, close to many shops and restaurants. The beach was a short walk away via the steps. We enjoyed the pool so much that we only went to the beach for sightseeing. Quite simply this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it was very hard to leave. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Positano and we look forward to returning again in the future!

We had an incredible stay for our honeymoon at Hotel Poseidon! The staff was wonderful and were so accommodating during our stay. We had a beautiful view and things were walking distance from the hotel
