My overall stay was great with an amazing staff cleaning the rooms and breakfast was good, very peaceful area to be around too. The only thing I wished the front desk was more helpful with planning my stay in Jordan like different tours. I will stay here again thou. Shukran!

Walking distance to tourist destinations in Madaba. Short walk to mall and good driver recommendations. Short drive to Wadi Mujib as well as Amman

Overall experience wasn’t bad, however the breakfast is very poor for 4*hotel, the bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable

Hotel plutot cher pour la prestation
Sejour de 1 demie nuit en attendant de prendre l'avion. Plutot decus car la piscine ferme a 18h et est a l'ombre des 16h en septembre. Tres peu de chaînes sur la tv. La chambre est plutot grande avec un balcon. Nous avons eu une box pour le petit dej car nous quittions lhotel tres tot.

Great little hotel away from busy Amman city. Being away from major touristy place, you get the feel of local life. Plenty of eating places within walking distances.

Great hotel, good option instead of busy Amman. Pleasant and helpfull staff. Free breakfast was a bonus. Very large rooms. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Room was clean and spacious with a patio. Nice furniture and comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel is run by a family who care about you. Dog fighting kept me awake at night. I understand it is haraam (against God) to kill the wild dogs so they are everywhere. Not much is told about what to do, it is up to you to find the special places and good restaurants. Madaba center is worth visiting for all the special places.

Madaba stay
Only had a 1 nights stay here in Madaba, where we stayed at this hotel. Although it’s quite old and does need a little bit of a refurb. For the price can’t really have that many complaints. Good location, decent pool and very friendly staff. Would have no issues staying here again should we come to Madaba. So if you are looking for a no thrills well priced hotel it’s great.

This hotel is wonderful! If we get a chance to return to Jordan we will absolutely stay here again. Madaba is a perfect location to stay in Jordan. It's not over congested like Amman but there is so much to do. It's about a 45 minute drive to the dead sea, an hour to Amman, and 15 min from Mount Nebo. There are many other historic sites in Madaba as well. They have a small private parking lot which is perfect because there is so much within walking distance. The tourist street is nearby with many shops and welcoming locals. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was truly wonderful. Haithm and Nadeen were especially amazing. They went above and beyond for us and made us feel so welcomed. Thank you so much! We hope we can return soon!

Soweit alles super! Aber dem Frühstück fehlte an einigen Tage ein vernünftige Auswahl an Obst bzw. Quark. Der Hausmeister könnte auch mal durch die Zimmer gehen und den z.B. schon leicht herunterhängenden Badehandtuchhalter oder das Wandtelefon (auch im Bad) mit neuen Dübel befestigen. Das ist einem 4-Sterne- Hotel nicht würdig. Sind aber für mich alles Kleinigkeiten.

A very nice hotel only 25 minutes from Queen Alia airport (without having to deal with Amman traffic). Convenient to Dead Sea and Baptism Site (about 40 minutes), and to the highway to Petra & Aqaba. Hotel is older, but not run down. Very convenient to shopping in Madaba.

We stayed at The Grand Hotel Madaba 2 separate times on our trip to Jordan. The first time we went the electronic key to the door was broken so we had to use a make trips to the front desk and ended up using a make shift mechanical key. The bed both times was a box spring with a 1.5 inch piece of foam over the top. There was no mattress. The first time we had to have maintenance come fix our thermostat. The second stay the same problem happened which they could not fix so they moved us to a new room... with the same thermostat problem for which they sent another person who did fix it. The room however had no toilet paper. The breakfast was very good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for going to Petra, Wadi Rum--better than Amman. Unless you are with a tour group and your transportation is all arranged, you really should hire a private car to visit all these tourist spots. The hotel makes arrangements for private cars for you. Make sure you ask for Amer as the driver. Amer is super knowledgeable, dependable, friendly, and a lot of fun to ride with. The rates are reasonable. I had a super time riding in his car going to all the tourist spots for 4 days. Thank you, Amer.

HOTEL MUY RECOMENDABLE EN MADABA
Muy buen hotel. Cerca del centro de Madaba. Habitación superior espectacular, con buena cama y buen baño, todo muy limpio. El desayuno básico, pero suficiente, no hay nada dulce, pero buen café y té. Estuvimos muy a gusto. Muchas gracias por el detalle en la habitación de los dulces jordanos y la fruta. Volveremos!!!!! Muy recomendable.

Great place, located centrally in Madaba and near to city centre. Has all facilities and us very clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel in the center of Madaba (10 minute walk to Saint George’s church). The room was huge and even had a balcony. Staff was super friendly and breakfast had both salty and sweet food items. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommending this hotel!

The property has confortable rooms and a good restaurant service. The hotel is well located for Madaba trips including the Mont Nebo and Petra.

Location resonable and breakfast was brilliant. Staff are friendly and fast action when requested. The only set back is the traffic noise right infront of the room. But was move to other room which is more quietier.
