Jasper was a great host. Mini bar and food excellent. Bed comfortable & shower hot & strong. Even helped us when tv didn't work . Excellent stay.

Great B&B
Check in was super easy, the host, Jadper was friendly and showed us how everything worked. Breakfast and snacks spot on, and the location was fantastic. Close to the Metro and bars/restaurants, yet super quiet.

Great room. Nice and convenient location. Jasper was great and, he went above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The only issue for me was the hotel stairs were too steep for four floors. It wouldn't have been possible for me to lift my luggage there alone if Jasper wasn't there to help me carry it up and down.

Prettig verblijf gehad. Gastheer is vriendelijk en voorzit van alle gemakken. De omgeving is s’avonds lekker rustig en alles is met de tram goed te bereiken.

Great place
We have stayed at Adriaen van Ostade B&B for three night and would highly recommend this place. Jasper is a great and very responsible host. Our room was clean and fridge was refilled with fruits,cheese, soft drinks, beers and sandwiches daily. Nespresso machine with caps was the great addition. As many other reviwers mentioned the steps to the third/fourth floor are very steep. Was't the issue for us. Jasper took care of all our heavy bags and lifted them to the room. Location is quiet, safe, close to Subway and at a walking distance to many attractions Great place to stay.

Close to cafes and city centre. Quiet street. Good size, cosy balcony. Helpful host. Nice with food, snacks and beverages in the fridge. Only complaints: the bathroom was not clean (hair in the shower and in the bathtub) and some of the fruit in the fridge was partly rotten.

A Real Gem
Located in the heart of Old Amsterdam within walking distance to major museums and excellent transportation. Owner went out of his way to help in any possible way. Refrigerator in the room stocked with all sorts of goodies as part of the room package. Extremely narrow and steep stairs up to the forth floor was the only drawback.

Jasper was very nice and helpful including taking our bags to our one-story walk up. As others have mentioned beware that this property has a steep narrow stairway. We were on the first floor, so it was manageable. While we didn't have enough time to enjoy it, the balcony was a nice addition. The stocked refrigerator was helpful as we were jet-lagged and not wanting to look for dining options the first night. Overall we were pleased with our choice. Kitchen and bath could use some upgrading but it was acceptable for our needs.

Comfortable, quiet and central
Excellent location in the Pijp neighborhood, if you want to avoid the touristic area and noise as we did. Jasper the host was fantastic, very helpful and informative. The pictures are less welcoming but overall we were very satisfied from our stay. One issue that you might consider is if you have problems with stairs and the floor of the room was also on the 4th floor so this should be taken in concideration.

We were welcomed by one of the owners and he answered all our questions. The room was quite large, fridge full of goods and drinks. We were on the 4th floor...be prepared for narrow winding stairs...so pack light!!

Wir haben in der Wohnung eine Nacht und zwei Tage verbracht. Die ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, und hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Das Zentrum von Amsterdam ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung sehr genossen. Gerne kommen wir noch mal, wenn wir in Amsterdam sind.

Tres bel accueil dans un lieu proche tram qui mene au centre-ville Hote très sympathique. L'appartement est fonctionnel et tres propre. Je recommande vivement Attention cependant l'escalier d'acces est a la vertical et étroit donc pas de souci pour un adulte en forme mais il faut le savoir. Personnellement cela ne m'a pas gêné

This is one of the best BnB's I've ever stayed in. The area is safe and quiet, conveniently located near to tram and metro stops. The room itself is perfect. We didn't make use of the balcony due to the cold temperatures and rain at the time of our stay. But it would've made for a lovely spot to relax after a long day, or to have morning coffee. The bed is large and very comfortable. The shower is spacious, with hot and cold water, and body wash. The kitchenette is well-equipped with dishes, cutlery, a nespresso coffeemaker and kettle. The entire apartment is very clean and we had no complaints. Jasper is a wonderful host; he kept the fridge stocked with so many different things every day, we couldn't eat or drink them all; even a bottle of wine! He also carried our (heavy) suitcases up and down the very narrow staircase, which we appreciated immensely. All in all, I cannot recommend this stay more, and would definitely return on my next Amsterdam visit.

Ideal for anyone looking to visit Amsterfam away from the tourist parts. Property was in a prime location with excellent transport links. Very clean, very well stocked fridge upon our arrival and overall the description was as accurate as possible. Would stay again.

Perfekte Location, netter Host
Die Location in De Pijp ist perfekt, um Amsterdam mit der Bahn zu erkunden. Wir haben unser Auto unweit des B&B bei ParkBee geparkt und die ganze Zeit über nur die Öffis genutzt. Jasper hat uns persönlich begrüßt, einen Koffer hochgetragen und immer für gutes Essen & trinken im Kühlschrank gesorgt :)

Private, quiet, great location and value
Fantastic location. Stairs are a bit challenging if you aren’t 100% mobile. Very private apartment, lovely little terrace, little comforts and comfortable bed. Great value for money.

Great service by Jasper. He keeps the refrigerator stocked with little sandwiches and fresh fruit and drinks. I’d stay again! Steep stairs, but he assists with bags.

Wij hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Inchecken was vanaf 15 uur maar wij konden al eerder onze spullen afgeven. Duidelijke uitleg door Jasper en ook handige tips voor parkeren en OV. De ligging van de B&B is echt geweldig. Midden in de Pijp en op 2 minuten wandelafstand van de tram en metro. Enig puntje van aandacht zou het ontbijt kunnen zijn. Iets meer variatie in het beleg is wenselijk. Wij zouden zeker terug gaan

Was greeted by the host upon arrival. Showed us how to use the key to enter the building and our room. Fridge was stocked with fruits, variety of drinks, sandwiches and wine. Room is big and the area is quiet so we were able to sleep well. Would book again!

Jasper was the ultimate host. He helped us find the metro, purchase tickets, and saw us off. The room was well stocked with goodies and beverages. However, If you cannot climb stairs this property might not be for you.

Everything is perfect
A simply perfect place to stay (except for people who don't like steep stairs). My room was spacious with a beautiful view on the trees. It was very practical and user friendly too: Jasper thought about every single detail, including the fridge that was always full. I also liked the neighbourhood, walking distance from museums, but without crowds of tourists, very calm and authentic, with a lot of really cool bars and resturants (including a lot of vegan options). There is also a metro station and a tramway stop just around the corner. I'm really happy I've discovered this hidden gem and I will definitely come back.

Jasper was there to greet us and assist with carrying our luggage up the steep staircase. The welcome bottle of wine along with the daily stocked refrigerator was a very nice touch. Room is spacious and clean. Jasper allowed us to store our luggage after checkout and also assisted in getting our luggage to the ground floor and calling a cab. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The owners were very helpful, and it is a cute room. However, ours was up four flights of very steep steps which some people might find impossible to climb, especially with luggage (although the staff helped us). Just keep that in mind when booking.
