deposit no refund
The hotel charged 50 euro deposit and I put my master card in for the deposit. But they've given the deposit back due to the city tax which costs only 8euro. I've sent email asking my deposit-41euro back several times. But they've never answered. How can they do so? What is the solution for my desposit? Never go to this hotel if you don't be overcharged for your stay. I'm still looking for the way to get my deposit refunded.

Good for tours to other towns
It was good hotel with good view to the stream. As some tours start from this hotel, it is a good choice when you need to plan to join tours to Dutch small towns or Belgium.

We were on a group tour and the breakfast was always included. We decided to add an extra day. When we went down to breakfast we were told that is was an additional 28 euro charge per person. For what we paid for the extra night it should have been included.

I booked this hotel for my son’s 21st birthday. The hotel is stunning, the staff were amazing even arranging balloons and desert in his room as a surprise for his birthday. The hotel was in walking distance of transport links to the central and situated in a quiet area. Would highly recommended. 😄

Sehr schönes Hotel. Etwas außerhalb der City, dafür ruhig und gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Zur Bahn ca. 10 min Fußweg. Zimmer sind groß, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Würde wieder buchen.
Würde das Hotel wieder buchen. Soe hatten vergessen beim Zimmer zu reinigen, obwohl ich es an der Reception mitgeteilt habe. Ich wurde aber dafür auf Frühstück eingeladen als Entschuldigung. Personal ist sehr gut.

This hotel was a recommendation from a friend and on a 3 city tour between Paris, London, and Amsterdam, this was the worst hotel. I stayed with my mother in a room with double beds and it was canal facing, but the view was nothing special since I think we were on the 2nd floor. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and dropping onto things like the bath towels. Also the lighting in our room was very poor. It was one of those bathrooms where the shower blends into the toilet area and there is no separation - terrible design. It is apparently close to the artsy areas but not close to the center. The front desk staff always looked bothered when you approached. Would not recommend this property.

Nice, clean hotel. Just outside of city centre.
Very nice hotel. We were told our room was upgraded. We stayed on the first floor. It was a nice room, really clean and a nice bathroom and shower. The room was still quite small. Excellent service. We had food delivered one night which was allowed. We also used the concierge to store our bags before leaving. They offer a 5 euro voucher to use in 'The Living Room' café/restaurant, for every day you don't get your room serviced so you put a tag on your door for the day. You can't use this voucher on room service though, you have to be in the café/restaurant to use it. Its a 13 minute walk to the nearest tram into town. Good when it's dry, not so much when it's raining.

Great stay at a very nice hotel. Would have been perfect if it wasn’t for missing on the room service which took over an hour to get after calling twice and checking.

O hotel é im charme! Roupas de cama, toalhas, colchão maravilhosos. Secador de cabelo, TV grande, tábua e ferro de passar, cofre, amenities de banheiro, ducha forte, vista para o canal, tudo impecável. Os funcionários são excepcionais! O Restaurante/ bar vale uma visita! Cardápio que sai do óbvio e o sabor surpreende. Minha crítica vai para a localização: precisa andar 12 min para pegar metro ou tran. Se vier de carro o estacionamento é muito caro, 50 € por dia!
