Great room in a great location. Our host Merel was super friendly, welcoming and responsive. The property was clean and comfortable. The location in Nine Streets was perfect and there were shops and restaurants next door and all around us. We would definitely stay here if we returned to Amsterdam again.

Merel was amazing and communicative. She made our honeymoon extremely special and has the most adorable little pup! This is the best area to stay in, in Amsterdam. Tons of shopping and amazing cafes and bars. Literally everything you could ever want to do is within a ten minute walk through beautiful canal streets. We will be back!

It was a great location and we could walk everywhere. The room was large. Had a fridge, espresso machine and a small closet. No concierge but we felt well taken care of. The stairs like any place in Amsterdam were a bit steep, not bad but something to be aware of when you’re packing. The door on our studio was difficult to open.

Hotel IX is located in the heart of the city and is really handy for exploring all the main attractions. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and the free items in the minibar were much appreciated. The only downside was the code entry which took a bit of getting used to as they were well used, once you had the knack it was no big deal.

Great Location in Amsterdam
Hotel IX was a great place to stay when we visited Amsterdam. It's in a great part of town with lots of places to visit nearby. The only suggestion I would make is to avoid booking a room on the street. While the street is relatively quiet at night, the windows are thin so you can hear everyone talking as they pass. The rooms in the back are very nice and you won't hear the street!

Stort fint rom, og en meget sentral beliggenhet. Alt med innsjekk gikk meget fint. Bor du i første etasje, vil du høre de i andre etasje gå på gulvet og når de dusjer...våknet av dette, men skulle stå opp uansett.

The property is a hidden hem consisting of a handful of unique hotel rooms on a beautiful street. The location is great for walking with beautiful canals and great shops and restaurants.

This was by far the best hotel experience I've had in Amsterdam. Susan is a more than friendly person, and helps wherever she can. This small boutique hotel/apartment is also on the 9 streets where you can find lot's of small boutiques, shops and restaurants. The rooms are HUUUGGEE compared to other city hotels. Highly recommended.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the '9 Streets'
Beautiful boutique hotel in the best part of Amsterdam. Our suite was lovely and extremely comfortable. Fabulous bathroom, great bed and fridge stocked with complimentary water, soda, beer and wine. There is also a Nespresso for enjoying coffee in the morning. Susan and Merel are wonderful hosts who really pay attention to the smallest details, and are very accommodating. Highly recommend this little gem!

Très bien situé et très vaste
L' hotel lX est très bien situé a 6 minutes a pied de la place principale. Les lignes de tramway sont également très proches. La rue est calme . La suite que nous avions réservée se trouve au dernier étage. Cette suite est très vaste avec un salon équipée d' un mini réfrigérateur, d' une table, d'un canapé.et d'un grand téléviseur. La chambre est assez grande avec une literie de bonne qualité. La salle de bain est également très grande avec une façade entièrement vitrée. L' ensemble est très propre avec deux personnes qui font le ménage très méticuleusement chaque jour. A noter que les boissons mises a disposition sont gratuites, ce qui est assez exceptionnel. Je souligne deux points plutôt négatifs: - les escaliers sont plutôt étroits et un peu pentus - les claviers pour accéder a l'hotel puis a la chambre sont de type semi tactile. Ils sont difficiles d' emploi et il faut toucher très légèrement les touches, sans appuyer dessus. Il faut rentrer les codes doucement sans se presser. Suivre les instructions au dessus du clavier. Les vitrages sur rue sont de type simple vitrage , mais comme la rue est peu passante , il y a peu de bruit (sauf travaux). Nous sommes globalement très satisfaits de cet hotel et remercions le personnel pour leur amabilité et leur accueil.

Charming quintessential Amsterdam apartment
Our stay was exceptional! The apartment is unbelievably charming & the location is excellent! Great restaurants, boutiques, & a wonderful natural foods market nearby! Location is also walking distance from the train station!

Superb little Gem!
A lively boutique hotel with super comfortable beds. The hosts were fantastic and super helpful whenever we needed anything and the location is perfect. Close enough to the fun stuff, but in the quieter Jordaan district which was beautiful. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!!

Nice location in a quiet street, a few minutes walk from Dam Square. Nice apartment and "free" minibar. Clean and pretty apartment that seemed newly renovated. Very nice and attentive staff. The place can be recommended

Very unique decor, room was clean and comfortable. Was arrived to a fridge stocked with refreshments including wine and beer. The room also had a Nespresso machine which we enjoyed. The location is in a beautiful area of Amsterdam, more quiet, but still close to many major attractions.

Great hotel setup but the keypad to get into the hotel room and the hotel itself was horrendous. I came home before my family and i had to get up at 4 am to go down and let them in bc It wouldn’t work for them. Other than that i had an amazing time here.

A haven in the 9 Streets!
Hotel IX is phenomenal! Every aspect of the suite I stayed in was beautiful, the owners, Merel and Susan could not have been more helpful. It was peaceful, comfortable and a haven in an amazing neighbourhood. I’d definitely stay here again!

Ideal city centre stay
Beautiful boutique hotel, nestled AMONGST THE Boutiques. The hotel is newly renovated, trendy and very comfortable. Everything you could need for a city stay. If what you need is a plush place to stay while exploring the city by foot and entertaining yourself in Amsterdam, this is for you. It's a 5 min walk from the royal palace, Dam area and lots of boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses. However, If you have mobility issues (for stairs), or require in house dining and entertainment then you should consider a larger chain hotel instead.

Clean, friendly and LOCATION!
We recently stayed at Hotel IX and had the most wonderful experience! The room was very clean and well equipped with everything we would need for a pleasant stay- they even left a bottle of rose for us (our favorite!). The location is within walking distance to many restaurants, museums, shopping, and GVB tram stops! We would stay here again and would recommend it to our family and friends who travel to AMS. Thank you Hotel IX for a lovely stay!

Wonderful!!
We loved our funky pad. Excellent area with boutiques and restaurants but away from the busy square. Susan and Merel were just delightful. They we available whenever we needed them.
