박물관에서 멀지 않은 위치에 평이 좋아서 선택했던 호텔이였습니다 그러나..완전 반전.. 청소 상태도 좋지 않고, 방은 냄새 나고, 시설관리도 되지않아 샤워부스는 문이 잘 닫히지도않고 창문은 열어도 고정이 안되고, 문 손잡이 뒷쪽은 벽이 꺼져있는 상태였습니다. 바닥은 거친 나무면서도 슬리퍼도 없습니다. 직원은 친절한 편이나 리셉션은 늘 비어있고 콜벨을 눌러도 한참만에 나타났습니다. 방은 직접 안내해줬지만 질문을 하기 전까지 와이파이나 아침식사 위치까지 안내하는 것을 잊고 있더군요. 아침 식사도 대체 뭘 먹어야할지.. 제대로된 과일하나 없습니다. 대체 여긴 왜 평이 좋았던거죠? 개선이 꼭 필요한 곳입니다.

Very nice staff. The room was nice but unfortunately there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. By foot we reached the central in 5-10 Minuten so very good Location.

Absolutely Horrible & Disappointing Hotel Stay
This hotel was advertised to be non-smoking, yet the hallway outside Rm 002/003 have cigarette and/or cannabis smell almost at all times. Hotel staff was aware someone smoking/cannabis in their room but lack enforcement causing the stench to be there in the main aisle/hallway outside my room doors since Rm 002/003 are literally on the main entry way. That is not what we expect from a non-smoking hotel facility and unacceptable esp. traveling with kids. Stay away from this hotel if you want a nonsmoking facility Throughout my stay, I have Do not Disturb (DND) sign on and I make sure that light is illuminated as confirmed by Astrid @front desk. Sometime in 12/29 afternoon, while we were sway, hotel housekeeping ignored those signs and entered both rooms. Upon pressing, Astrid confirmed the housekeeping entered the rooms that has DND sign on and she has to ask the housekeeping to get out of the rooms. It is very suspicious as the housekeeper were making rooms that morning. It certainly looks like the housekeeping is looking for a time the rooms are not occupied to enter. If you care about your privacy & safety of your belongings, there should be much better choice around. Rm 002/003 was basically on the ground fl. and it is so noisy and you can hear all the noise from the hallway, reception, the street. It is impossible to sleep throughout our 2 nights stay. Rm 003, door won't even lock @checkin. Think twice and hard before you book.

Dette hotellet ligger sentralt i forhold til Leidseplein, med gode trikkeforbindelser, og kort gåavstand til sentrale deler av Amsterdam. Rommet vårt var stort med god seng og kanalutsikt. Veldig hyggelig betjening. Det som trekker ned er vedlikehold. Døra i dusjen hang ikke ordentlig på, og falt ned om vi ikke passet på. Kjøleskapet virket ikke. Ingen glass på rommet. Hullete håndklær. Vasken var nesten helt tett. En natt kom vi ikke inn fordi dørlåsen vår gikk tom for batteri… Nattevakta brukte lang tid på å få oss inn. I tillegg var det mye flekker vi antar er fra intim aktivitet på sitteputer i rommet. Så totalt sett så er vi fornøyd, men dette hotellet hadde vært veldig mye bedre med bittelitt vedlikehold. Vi kommer nok derfor ikke tilbake hit neste gang vi er i Amsterdam

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance of most sites in Amsterdam at the same time as being quite and peaceful. The view of the canal from our room was beautiful. At first glance, the room seemed clean, although the appearance of the lobby and hallways suggested the opposite. Unfortunately there is a serious mold problem in this hotel. The wall closest to the window was wet and growing large patches of fuzzy mold. Behind the bathroom mirror was black with mold. The bathroom ceiling was dripping. When we raised these issues, we were told they would clean the moldy wall next to our bed. We asked for this not to be done during our stay because we didn't want the spores to be spread all over the room. When we returned to the hotel that evening, the mold had been "cleaned", with no sign of bleach or cleaning products. My guess is they just brushed it off to remove visible traces, spreading mold spores all over the room. They assured us they covered the bed while they did this, but that's not much imo. I am writing this detailed review because I'm not confident that the hotel will undertake the significant work needed to treat the mold and prevent it from coming back, and it could affect guests health.

Horrible hotel- dirty and disgusting
This hotel is NOT as advertised. The exterior of the building is covered in graffiti and cigarette butts. The “lobby” is a small dirty desk in a narrow dark hallway. The desk clerk is a resident of the building and is poorly dressed and is not able to assist with any questions. The rooms are dirty and do not meet up with the amenities described in the reservation. We called Hotels dot com about a refund because we wanted to move to a better hotel, but we received no assistance from either the hotel or the Hotels dot com customer service department. Horrible place- keep looking!

Very well located... But the carpet have stains, small bed, rippen towels, no hot water some days and we have to ask for toilet paper, cleanesses is very poor.

My room was two feet from the reception desk. It was hard to sleep with people coming in and out. I had booked a room with a king bed to get a good night of sleep, but it was for nothing. The mini fridge was not working properly. The shower head was also leaky.

Great value
This hotel was an excellent find. It is close to the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark, and several good dining options are available nearby. Be prepared to be surprised by the steep front stairs, the small front door, the tiny front desk, and the narrow hallways, but they are all part of the hotel's old style charm. What matters most is that the rooms are well-sized and clean, the service attentive, the price fair, and the bed comfortable.

Very good little hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Location wise was absolutely perfect, to/from aiport really easy. City is literally 5 minute walk. Every is walkable if you can do it, if not transport is all very near.
