Do not waste your money. One star hotel worth 90$
This place Is worse than motel 6. Do not expect anything more. Definitely not worth more than 90$/ night, and only because it’s near the center of town. Save your money and get a place 1/2 mile away , 10 times better. DOT NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Expect broken and dirty furniture, unsafe fifty stairs that are narrow and hard to clime. Lights not working. Heating doesn't stop.. They don’t even provide soap in the toilet. This is a clear violation of health code. And after we paid EVERYTHING upfront, they asked for 50 Euros more for tax, as we checked in. The following pictures show how terrible this place is: Broken floors all over the place: Broken furniture. Ripped chair bottoms Filthy sofas Broken and unsafe, and dangerous ceiling beams Unfinished paint, water marks on walls Lights not working Filthy mirror and furniture They asked for 50$ more. Front door of the “HOTEL”. The key broke as we were struggling to open the door.

Beautiful
So spacious, canal views, and the nicest front desk staff you could ask for. It was so lovely to have a sitting area and a huge kitchen. I wish I could live there all the time! My only issue was we could very clearly hear the people in the other apartments (there was a baby downstairs and a loud couple next to us...) but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Localização Excelente
É um apartamento que fica num prédio anexo ao Hotel. Pontos positivos : localização é boa, o apartamento é muito grande e a cozinha bem equipada. Pontos negativos: há dois lances de escada bem íngremes para chegar ao quarto. O lugar fica totalmente escuro a noite. Gostaria de sugerir ao hotel que instale alguma iluminação na escada. Nos 4 dias que estivemos no local não houve arrumação/limpeza.

Not ideal
The space is very large and on a quiet street in a very busy location. However, if you are booking for 3 people they will not allow it. The space is large enough to accommodate but there are regulations against it. It doesn't state this anywhere in the booking which is frustrating, but regardless they were very rude about it. Also rude when we had friends stop by to meet us, rushing outside to tell us no one else was allowed in the apartment. Not even to visit or sit to make a plan. Not really ideal at all for a group trip. One of our party had to find alternate accommodations the two nights we were there at great expense at the last minute.

Nice hotel and great area
We stayed in the apartment, which was spacious and comfortable. Service is good at the hotel and the smoking room is a bonus. Second time staying here and we'll be going back again.

Muy centrico y cómodo para una pareja, dos o llevar niños (sofa cama). Muy buena calefacción. Escaleras muy empinadas como en todos los edificios antiguos de la ciudad.

Nice apartment in a good, central location. Staff friendly and happy to help. There was refurb work going on in reception but staff were apologetic and it didn't inconvenience my trip. Only negative is walls are quite thin and you can hear other guests and noise from the street.

BRILLIANT!!
Such a lovely place to stay wasn't to far from main part! The apartment was lovely inside the bed was really comfy, the cleaness was perfect not a dirty mark anywhere. Everything was great made myself and my partner very pleased making our experience in Amersdam even better. Only bad thing was the view wasn't that nice from the window other then that would recommend to anyone!!

Cozy B&B, Would stay here again
We stayed in a cozy one bedroom loft, it was very comfortable and well furnished. The staff was very gracious and welcoming. Location was great, quiet street and easy walking distance to attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly situated
Lovely apartment, perfectly situated within walking distance of all attractions from museums, art galleries, designer shops, dam square, central etc. Tea, coffee, Coke Fanta sprite all provided. Supermarket and restaurants on the next street. English channels on tv. Wifi perfectly accessible from room. I could imagine the steep stairs posing a problem for a few people though & the bed weren't the most comfortable but don't let that put you off. I would deffo recommend 👍

Great stay!
Great location, good and friendly service, a spacious and cozy apartment, well equipped kitchen, good value for money. We felt very welcomed and will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful!
Such a lovely room, with beautiful views! Right in the centre by Rembrandt square. I love the beams! The only confusion is that you have to check in next door at the Rembrandt hotel.

Top Lage des Hotels im zentrum der Altstadt und des Grachtengürtels. Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich! Zimmer war OK, allerdings könnte Couch und Bettbezug sauberer sein. Zusätzliche Badetücher wären nicht schlecht!

Great stay
We used one of the apartments in the building next door. The bedroom is very comfortable with LOTS of storage. We walked from the train station, and had we not gotten lost (our fault!), it would have been about 15 minutes. Plenty of food, shopping, bakeries, coffee shops, and sights nearby, and it's far enough away from the extremely busy areas near the train. Overall very quiet, although there was some early boat traffic along the canal which is a problem for a light sleeper on the extra bed (in the front room). But, on that note, there's a canal outside with a wonderful view!

Amazing stay.
Dont listen to any negative reviews. The place was fantastic, the Wifi Worked, the area was amazing you are surrounded by everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let you enjoy your stay without any disturbances. It is a nice quiet road where you can get the best nights sleep especially after partying. We came for Kings day 2014 and Ajax winning so the atmosphere was brilliant. I recommend this hotel to anyone that is wanting to come to Amsterdam. Tico you are the man! Your staff are brilliant. See you again soon.

It isn't a Bed and Breakfast.
When I searched Expedia for a Bed and Breakfast with wifi, that's what I wanted. Rembrandtplein did NOT live up to the terms and conditions. They explained that they only call it a B&B to save money on taxes and skirt regulations, but that actually providing breakfast was out of the question because food is expensive. Wifi was not available and they said that I could go down three flights of stairs and into their Internet cafe for 30 free minutes on their computer. They gave us filthy towels that had sizeable holes in them. There wasn't even a bar of soap to wash our hands with. There were no hand towels. There wasn't a bathmat, so we had to use one of our towels on the floor. The owner's attitude was awful. He sat in his bar drinking and acted put out when we arrived and when we checked out. The couch had so many stains, it almost resembled a pattern, until you stepped closer to realize that it had never been cleaned. The bed is in a loft, so the owner doesn't want to climb up and clean it. The bed had someone else's hair in it (quite disturbing when you are crawling into the bed). That same hair was all around the bed, mixed with dust and grime. They only provide one blanket. Rembrandtplein B&B is in a good location, but the owner's attitude, the rooms condition and lack of "amenities", combined with their lies about being a B&B and offering wifi made this place pretty awful.
we regret you didn't enjoy your stay with us , we are an B&B where you have reserved an private 70 square meters apartment in our family Canal House with a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast was not included . we delivered exactly what is written in our description before booking us. Soap is in the dispenser, WiFi is free , we don't have an internet cafe, we do have in our smoking lounge a computer that you can use for free and no limits. But free WiFi is available in all the property.Perhaps you are confusing us with another property because it doesn't match us at all. My employees are at your disposal 24/7 and before paying the apartment we accompany you , explain and leave you alone in the apartment to check if everything is correctly done , only after that we kindly ask you on your way out to do the payment. None of my employee or me received any complains during your stay and I find it surprising to be accused of these incorrect information . We do make mistakes but do everything in our power to correct them , apologize and give discount for the inconvenience caused. We have been awarded by Venere/ Expedia in two categories , Best Location and Cleanliness 2013 based on reviews from our guest and will continue to try to improve within the rating and budget that we are. We hope you did have beside your experience with us a good time in our City. Sincerely Tico . Owner

sehr schönes Hotel mitten im Grachtenviertel
Ich war zum Amsterdam-Marathon dort. Das Hotel liegt günstig, zum Bahnhof sind es 1,5km, in die Stadt läuft man 15min, und 5min zur Straßenbahn. Das Personal ist jung, nett, wirkte etwas verpeilt, was für meinen Aufenthalt unbedeutend war. Ich hatte eines der Appartements im Nachbarhaus. Sehr schönes Wohnzimmer mit TV, eine richtige Küche und eine Treppe hoch zum Bett. Ich würde das Hotel immer wieder nehmen.

Nice B&B
Location was great. Close to Renbrandtplein but in a calm street. Very nice staff and a big room/apartment with a kitchen. The included breakfast was simple but good. I recommend this B&B for your Amsterdam visit!

Fantastiskt läge. Bodde i en av de två lägenheterna med utsikt över kanalen. Gick inte att dra upp persiennerna och det fanns vare sigte tvål eller schampoo. Men gott om handdukar o lakan. Det finns lite husgeråd, vattenkokare och obegriplig kaffemaskin. Diskmaskin finns. Man får ingen städning men å andra sidan är man ostörd. Man checkar in i hotellets reception som ligger vägg i vägg med lägenheterna. Personalen på hotellet väldigt hjälpsam.

Good hotel, nice staff. Big apartment, a little noisy but it seems all the buildings at Amsterdam are like that. Missing towels. It should have more available towels. There was a delay on receiving room. Overall, nice hotel. Recommend!

Perfekt för en weekend
Jag var på Rembrant B&B och bodde i lägenhet från en Fredag till en Måndag och älskade stället. Det var nära till till stan (rättare sagt precis vid en lugn kanal mitt i stan). Man bodde nära nattliv shopping och allt annat Nice. Jag åker med säkerhet tillbaka till detta hotell för läget är perfekt för vem som helst (barnfamilj, par, singlar, vänner osv). Tack för en Nice vistelse Rembr ;) !!!
