At first, this seemed like an acceptable cabin. Given that it was at a campground, we weren't expecting a lot, so we accepted things like no wifi in the cabin, nearly impossible to shut bathroom door, tiny shower, not much AC in the bedroom, etc. So perhaps a solid 3 stars.
But then I had to contact them 4 days after we left to see when the $200 security deposit they took (which was NOT in our agreement) would be returned. They ended up refunding all but $35, saying that we stained 5 of their washcloths, hand towels, and/or rags (but refused to provide any details). Huh? I'm sure some people could manage to do that, but our family has never had a stain suddenly appear on a towel. We even brought our own paper towels (and toilet paper), and if there had been any spills would have cleaned them with the paper towels. And the towels we supposedly stained are worth about $5 total.
It was bizarre beyond belief.
The more disturbing issue is that they had a smoke detector, but the battery was not connected... and the smoke detector expired 14 years ago (2003). I did let them know, and I *hope* they take care of it ASAP.
