When we arrived, we had to give a $200 deposit which was not advertised. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude regarding the deposit. My husband and I decided to check the room before bringing items inside. We found a giant hole in the wall, blood on the curtains and stained blood on the mattress. We took photos and brought those to the front desk immediately. She claims those had not been reported previously. The next morning our room had a terrible odor, so I asked housekeeping about the odor. She informed me the odor was due to marijuana smoked in a room down from us days prior to our arrival. I decided I should talk with the General Manager regarding the odor because I didn't not want to my damage deposit to not be refunded due to someone else. The GM was very rude and tried to intimidate me. He told me the odor was a new cleaning solution being used, that was untrue. When we talked about the damaged room, he told me the stain was BBQ sauce not blood also untrue. Then he told me he might not decide to refund my deposit due to me confronting him. I have not received my refund for my deposit, and it has been a week today. If I do not receive my refund on the deposit, I will contact a lawyer. I have photos that prove we did not cause any damages. We also could not use the pool because the water was dirty and looked like algae was forming around the pool walls. It was a terrible experience I will never return.
