Value for Money
For the cost, it is value for money. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was a little confusing with most things needing to be asked for (we understand the reasons, to save on wastage, but that wasn't made clear on the menu). The portions for breakfast were huge and it was good quality food. We thought the place could do with some TLC and a good dust in higher places, but overall a good stop over and worth the money we paid.

Comfortable and clean
Booked a triple room to share for one night while travelling with my small grandchildren. Room was perfect for us, very clean and comfy.

Very friendly hosts, good room and breakfast. We have stayed before and would stay again if in the area.

A stay at the end of a long hike. Basic facilities and looking a bit tired. However the proprietor very friendly and cooked a great breakfast.

5pm is late for check-in, but quite satisfied, considering what we paid. Negatives can be found everywhere.

Lovely B&B with a friendly owner.

Overnight stopover
Lovely B&B and very handy fo rthe town. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. Also helpfully provided a summer duvet for a warm night That covered everything I needed.

Very welcoming. Shower small, booked king bed but found it was twin pushed together causing ridge where mattress's meet. Even so slept well so no real problem.

Friendly and central B&B
Small friendly B&B close to town centre but in a quiet street. Friendly host, great breakfast, comfortable room. Tired decor but clean with all the facilities you need.

Great central spot for Annan!
Our second stay at The Old Rectory. It is very conveniently situated for Annan’s High Street, and parking on-site and at the front of the property on the road was good. The room was spacious, but the bed was rather firmer than we would like - and we usually like a firm bed! Breakfast was excellent and I really enjoyed the whisky porridge. There was also great attention to my wife’s desire to avoid gluten/dairy. Would thoroughly recommend the therapy facility at the property, where my wife adored the hot stone massage she received (extra cost - paid for by her wonderful husband :-) )

Good location for town centre and station
Situated halfway between the town centre & railway station on a quiet road with adequate parking space within a few yards’ walk of the front door. Just 1/4 mile from restaurants, pubs and takeaways on the Main Street. Friendly welcome, very Covid safe, room was up two flights of stairs but easy enough. Room was large, airy (even in a heatwave) and had a good sized en suite shower and toilet area. Everything very clean and tidy. Host gave details of good restaurants and other places to eat within walking distance of the property. Breakfast was excellent - local produce used and very tasty. Excellent value for money.

Great B&B
Nice friendly welcome and allowed us to check in a bit early. We had called ahead to ask and they were very accommodating. The room was fine, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, and Covid prevention measures were applied effectively. We would definitely use The Old Rectory again if we need to stay in Annan.

The old Rectory
Very good stay easy to find check in quick decent room and shower, tea coffee biscuits. Quite at night as I’m a light sleeper. Breakfast was amazing in all great value.

Like - The Owner was friendly - breakfast good. Did not the appearance outside nor the fact that Booking In was from 5.00pm - it should have been a bit earlier.

This was a last minute booking as I needed somewhere to stay for the night. From the moment I arrived at the b&b the staff were friendly and attentive. I felt at home immediately. Bedroom was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I can’t tecomment enough. Breakfast was also fantastic! Would definitely stay again if in the area! Thank you 😊

Excellent stay
Fabulous stay over on the way to final destination. Owners welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Quiet despite B&B being full. Delighted to have booked the old rectory.
