장점 - 주방시설이 있어 콘도 같은 느낌, 전반적으로 아늑한 인테리어, 무료 와이파이 등 / 단점 - 맨 위층인 4층 사용했는데 엘레베이터 없고 계단이 매우 좁은 점이 불편, 침대 시트가 그닥 깨끗해보이지 않았음

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und alles ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Die Küche sollte etwas besser den „basics“ ausgestattet sein (Gewürze, Salz, Pfeffer, Filterpapier), ansonsten haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Prima appartement (suite Oskar) en prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding is ok. Het is prettig om meer ruimte te hebben ten opzichte van een hotelkamer en alle basisdingen zijn aanwezig. In keukengedeelte zou een handdoek fijn zijn (slechts theedoek aanwezig). Minpunten: er is geen lift en de trap is ook smal. Je kan de gasten boven horen lopen want de vloer kraakt.

Great location, an easy stroll to the old city, cafes, museums, the cathedral, shops, the river and public transport. Set right in the midst of it all. Apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Posizione buona vicino al centro, scala ripidissima per accedere, (niente ascensore), appartamento vecchio ed arredamento poco curato, l'immagine del sito non corrisponde. Il parcheggio è quello pubblico ad un chilometro.

階段で4階（日本の5階）はちょっとキツかったけど、屋根裏部屋に実際住んでるような、広々したお部屋は最高！キッチンも食器も完備。中心地からも近く、しばらく暮らしたいくらい。但し、バストイレのドアが西部劇みたいなスィングドアだけ。全て筒抜け。更にシャワーのホルダーが折れてて、フック出来ない。それより、無料駐車場付き、と記載あるのに、駐車場無し！近隣の有料を教えてくれただけ。朝食も有り、となってたのに、無い。エクスペディアのせいか、ホテルのせいか、はっきりさせて欲しい。駐車料返してください。

Great location and space, lots of natural light. Main room nicely appointed. Felt at home in the apartment. The bed & pillows could improve, and the shower was tiny. Stairs may be difficult for elderly or any excess luggage.

Pretty central however if you end up on the last floor be ready as since it is located in a old house, small and not large stairs and there are quite a few. We ended up with no electricity in the bathroom and most of the electrical plugs were not working Since it is an apparthotel you are missing the contact with a frontdesk

4. Stock ohne Fahrstuhl
Zum Checkin muss man sich im Imbiss nebenan melden. Es führt eine schmale Treppe mit sehr kleinen Stufen nach oben (nicht machbar mit einem normal großen Koffer). Der 4. Stock ist mit Gepäck kaum zumutbar. Zimmer ist nett, aber stickig (keine Klimaanlage). Toilette und Dusche direkt neben dem Bett und nur durch eine Art Saloon-Tür getrennt, nicht jedermanns Sache.

Not what we expected.
Comfy beds and nice showers & bath tub. 2 baths but just one toilet and it's inside one of the bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom is sink and shower only and is in the hallway. No TVs, frigde, or microwave. No elevator and inconvenient parking, room was a block away from check in. Not recommended for taking children. But the beds were top of the line. Restaurant was delicious and friendly.

This is someone renting out a few spare rooms, not recommended if you're expecting a hotel with corresponding amenities.

Hotelzimmer als Ferienwohnung
Die Ferienwohnung des Aparthotel Van Hecke konnten wir mit sieben Personen in einem ordentlichen Zustand vorfinden, recht neu und modern vom Design, aber minimalistisch von der Inneneinrichtung. Es fehlt an Schränken, Stühlen und Ablageflächen. Außerdem gibt es zwar zwei Bäder, aber nur eine Toilette. Zudem hat uns gestört, dass ein Zimmer über kein Fenster verfügt und man durch einen Raum durchgehen muss, um ins Bad mit Toilette zu gelangen. Die Größe der gesamten Wohnung ist auch sehr überschaubar, es wurden maximal viele Zimmer auf kleinster Fläche verbaut. Lediglich die wirklich zentrale und ruhihge Lage in einer Seitenstraße der Nationalestraat würden mich wieder zu einer Buchung veranlassen. Außerdem muss man beachten, dass die City-Tax Antwerpens lediglich 2,39 EUR pro Person pro Nacht beträgt, der Vermieter aber 3,- EUR berechnet und dies mit einer Administrationsumlage begründet. Gerade bei größeren Gruppen können diese Cent-Beträge ärgerlich sein. Man sollte zudem über ausreichend Bargeld bei der Schlüsselübergabe verfügen, da von unserer Gruppe ein Deposit von 250,- EUR in bar verlang wurde.

Appartement qui peut avoir du charme , sous les combles!!!! mais le lit principal n 'est pas séparé du reste de l 'appartement , pas de séparation entre toilette/salle de bain et le reste de l 'appartement (juste une porte dite saloon !!! bonjour les bruits et les odeurs!!)éclairage faible et mal situé dans la salle de bain (donc impossible de se préparer pour mon épouse dans la salle de bain!! pas de chauffage quand nous y sommes allés!! propreté des coussins , canapé,couvertures médiocre et laissant à désirer!! et pour finir de gros problème d'eau chaude durant le séjour!!! dur dur à l 'eau froide!!

The hotel was in a great location! Offered secure parking and was very clean! Breakfast was awesome and the staff was extremely helpful! The kitchen offered the essentials and was great enough to cook a small meal! Great stay highly recommended.

Nice apartment style rooms close to everything.
We needed a place to stay with 3 people so the apartment style rooms with separate bedroom and living room areas was nice. The apartment was clean and had a refrigerator and small kitchen area. You do have to climb a small steep staircase to get to the rooms. We were able to leave our bags for a few hours in the Waffle House downstairs. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't open until 10 am so we had to have breakfast next door and come back for waffles later. After 6 pm you have to call across the street for a key since there is no reception. The owners are a very nice family.

Disappointed and beware!
Extremely disappointed. The Junior suite at the top of the stairs was not worth the climb and did not match the 3 star / Expedia rating or room description. Finishes were shoddy and the smell from the restaurant below permeated the room. I decided to find a different hotel. THIS WAS NON REFUNDABLE SO I DID NOT GET ANY REFUND for the 8 night booking!

No Hot Water, Poor Facility, No Service, Worst Exp
For a single-night stay, this place is still over my tolerance. Let me explain why: 1) There is NO HOT WATER, at night, in the morning, during the day, the kitchenette, the shower.. Sometimes you get 15 seconds of hot water, but it then turns cold. 2) The room is extremely poor. The TV is 17" with a remote whose CH-/CH+ buttons are broken (so you have to manually change the channels). There's no real curtain on the windows (only short plasticky ones that are translucent). Many other things. OK, it's a cheap place, but the things that don't work aren't luxury. 3) Not really clean. The bedding is old and has stains. The light switches have grease / marks. The towels also have new stains (have they been changed)? I'm making this negative comment because I'd like 1) other potential visitors not to suffer and 2) the owners to improve. Although it's my first time to Antwerp, I'd like to think there're better options for the price I paid. The city is very clean and beautiful, better than Brussels.

Comfortable apartment
The apartment is well located, a short walk away from the historic centre of Antwerp and close to a small supermarket. It is very comfortable, warm and cosy - which was a boon, as the weather was cold and damp. The apartment is generally well equipped, although it could be improved by the addition of a better selection of crockery and a drainer. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the young man (a former professional footballer) who runs the waffle restaurant below. When we arrived, there was a light out in the bathroom. This was fixed within five minutes of reporting the problem - excellent service. Highlights of our stay included visits to Rubens' house, the contemporary art museum and Antwerp's amazing station.

Great area, good value
Good value for money apartment, clean and well kept. Not suitable if you can't handle carrying your luggage up many flights of steep narrow stairs. We stayed in the top floor apartment which was 8 flights up. I would suggest this particular apartment for couples only as the toilet door was a swinging half barn door with no privacy. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend for younger couples.

Great spot. Nice location
This is a great spot and the apartments are perfect for a little getaway. Being above a waffle shop is also pretty awesome. Close to the rental bike stop and also completely walkable just about anywhere. 10 min from the cathedral and town center. Also in a cool neighborhood of its own with good food and cool boutique shopping.

Good location close to shopping, dining, and Antwerp center. This is an excellent value - so long as you don't need a 24 hour concierege, room service or a fitness center. Spacious with a large living area with kitchen and a separate bedroom and bath. Would defiunitely stay here again.

Great apartment, waffles, and City!
Our 1st floor (the whole floor) apartment was perfect. Located directly above the best waffle shop and small restaurant in Antwerp. A lovely women and her son operate both the street level business and the 3 apartments, so there is always someone available if you have any questions or need another 'way-to-good' waffle with a homemade topping. Great location on an important but very quiet street with all services and a short interesting walk to Our Lady's Cathedral, Rubens' House, and everything historic. Great place to stay in a great, very interesting, city.

Great hotel! Loved the location and the apartment like set up was great. Zora who works in the restaurant was awesome. Within easy walking distance to the Cathedral and pretty much all the sights! Only draw back was we only stayed one night.

Die von Hotel.com angegebene Telefonnummer führt zu einem Anrufbeantworter auf flämisch. Bei den zwei an der Haustüre festgeklebten Telefonnummern führte erst die zweite zu einem "lebendigen" Menschen. Es gibt keine Parkmöglichkeiten-auch keine Haltemöglichkeiten vor der Wohnung.Es wäre sinnvoll eine Parkmöglichkeit z.B. "Vlammskekai"( circa 10 Minuten zu laufen) anzugeben. Im Badezimmer fehlen Ablagen oder eine Möglichkeit auch nur 1 Handtuch aufzuhängen.Im Schlafzimmer wäre eine Leseleuchte sehr angenehm. Ansonsten liegt die Wohnung sehr zentral, ist ordentlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber.

More than a hotel room less than a full apartment
One large room to include bed, sofa, kitchen area and an en-suite bathroom. We had the top room so probably the smallest but it was just right for the 2 of us. Pro's: Clean, comfortable, the lady who runs it was lovely and very helpful, 10 minute walk to main area. Cons: Lots of stairs & no lift, the bathroom is small but if you have a sense of humour you will be fine.

One of the best
The location was perfect for us, it being in the middle of the city. The bedrooms were very quiet for being beside a larger road in the middle of the city, even with the windows open. Bottom floor is a belgian waffle house, the oldest one in the city and they had truly delicious waffles. Service was great, got a lot of helpful tips on good restaurants and were to go and not during the night. Will probably visit again and will recommend it to anyone staying in antwerpen.
