Third time staying here. It’s a lovely place, all the staff are fantastic (there’s a lovely girl originally from Falkirk that was a good laugh and had great banter), the food is amazing (pay extra for the dinner package as the value is exceptional), the rooms are spacious and the beds are huge, the views are superb and the wildlife is right up close and personal.
My two gripes would be the service charges (just add a few pence to the drinks, the food or the room) and the lack of international lager on tap, the Loch Melfort lager (just call it Tennents) is passable but something else would have suited me personally, the other half had the choice of about 30 gins and she was chuffed to bit so I was happy. Neither of these will stop us returning and we’ll be back soon.
Thank you to all the staff, the owners should be extremely proud.
