Nice place. Its a short walk to eagle beach. Had a econo car rental right on the same street. It also has an upper level public balcony with chairs over looking a few palm trees. It was a nice first time aruba stay for me. The owners are very nice.

We were looking for a short and inexpensive 3 day getaway, needless to say, you get what you pay for. Let me start with the Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, walking distance to the beach, the restaurant on site was always packed so it must've been good (we didn't eat there) and there are other restaurants nearby as well as a convenience store across the street. Con: The place is run down beyond words. The room had very poor lighting, the stove burners are covered by aluminum foil to keep them together. The cracks on the corners of the room are very visible. The blinds were falling apart so you couldn't even open them for some light in the room. There was one or two tables in the pool so if you wanted to sit by the pool you would be lucky to get one. The pool looked dirty, as if the filter wasn't working properly. The abandoned construction site next door is an absolute eyesore. When asked if they were going to be renovating anytime soon we were looked at like we were crazy and like "why should they". There were beach chairs available, some were fairly new but many of them looked as if they had seen better days. Overall, this place is very conveniently located, the staff was nice and the room, although run down, it was clean.

We stayed here for 5 nights.Great location, walked to Eagle Beach! They gave us beach towels and chairs every day. Very helpful staff, friendly. Pool was nice and we were the only ones there most days. This place is quiet. Love the family feel. Way better than a crowded high rise! Would stay here again!

Very nice staff--our room was clean..furniture had seen better days. There is a lot of building of large hotels around the property. One of the kitchen outlets did not work and the wind shook the door constantly. Location is great..so close to eagle beach and the price was good.

very close to the beach and a good restaurant right in the building but 3 new construction projects on all sides of the hotel. It's time to update the furniture in the rooms but overall not bad. the staff is welcoming and friendly

2 min from the beach, great friendly staff. 10 min by car from the strip. Despite construction around the hotel, it’s great for people on the budget. I will come back.

This is an excellent, family owned hotel. Besides keeping my room spotless clean during the duration of our stay, this hotel provides fresh, clean beach towels everyday along with quality beach chairs. I would definitely stay here again. Elena at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

Property is nice and rooms are clean & nice, pool is nice just didn’t see anyone cleaning pool or checking chlorine ect. daily noticed same flowers floating on top of water, so didn’t spend much time in pool. Like having mini mart across street, just longer walk to beach then expected and had to carry beach chair to beach in very hot temperatures, would be nice having deal w hut that rents chairs at the beach.

Front desk was friendly. Check in and check out was fast and easy. I only wish Helena had some knowledge of the area. Free beach chairs and towels were a plus. The pool area was peaceful and never crowded. Eagle beach was a block away from the hotel. Dorado was pretty quiet, even with construction next door and across the street. Zucchini restaurant (Italian) is downstairs and Screaming Eagle restaurant is on the corner. The hotel room interior can use some work. The shower and kitchen are great. The tv image was grainy. Limited channels. Our wardrobe closet door was broken so we couldn’t use the safe. The bed was comfortable, room temperature was fantastic, clean sheets and I didn’t see a single bug. The room door was old and had an actual turn key. Since there wasn’t any hotel security that was an issue for me. If you just want a clean low price room for your vacation without any perks Dorado will suit your needs.

The place was ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! Pool area in back, restaurant attached Zucchini's it's called, pasta was DELICIOUS, across the street is a little grocery store we made breakfast in the room everyday. Minute walk to Eagle Beach, a fine dining restaurant (Screaming Eagle), about 10-12 minute walk to casino, more restaurants, a little bit larger grocery and gift shop. The ONLY DOWNSIDE it's SURROUNDED by construction. They're buildings a High rise across the street, another buidling to the left (unsure of what it's going to be), and yet ANOTHER building to the right (unsure of that one as well). They start working VERY EARLY in the morning due to heat, and although not the Dorados fault, it still puts a damper if your looking to sleep in. I would DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Its all about the beach!
Basic small boutique hotel. Mini kitchen was most useful as we picked up some groceries and made our own breakfast/lunch. Location is very close to the beach which is the best part. Facility also has a relaxing pool for after a day at the beach.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Walking distance of Eagle Beach, Superfoods, and Alhambra Casino shops. Byrd scooters available to get to the High Rise Hotel beaches. Hotel had nice kitchenette, well air conditioned, and comfortable bed. Hotel staff was nice but we did not need to interact much because we had no problems with the room.

Dorado Eagle Beach is a small but well equipped hotel. The rooms are basic decor but have EVERYTHING you need (fridge, kitchen sink, and a stove I believe). The pool is small but there's lounge chairs and a spacious patio.It's conveniently located across the street from Eagle Beach (about a 3 minute walk). We only stayed one evening at the end of our vacation. This would be a great place for someone traveling on a budget! Simple place with everything you need. Everyone we encountered (hotel staff) was very kind and helpful.
