Sometimes it is impossible to guarantee this as there are going to be moments during the early hours for instance where some traffic noise may be heard from the local municipality services, especially on our lowest road facing floors. The royal level wasn’t worth the money at all. We weren’t really given much info or given a tour like we heard other employees explain we should have. My friend got food poisoning from the royal level restaurant the second night and they did nothing to accommodate her. We never went back there again. No offers of money back or anything. Food was just ok at buffets. Best dinner was at the Japanese restaurant. Some staff was exceptional. We tipped them really good bc many of the staff was so rude.

Part of the concierge check in at Royal Level is to provide the guest with all information regarding the services included and the property but no tour is given. We lament if you received this deceiving information. We are deeply sorry that your partner felt poorly during your stay and not being immediately informed as we would have called a doctor for a checkup and for her to be able to enjoy the remaining of your holidays among us, however we would like to take the opportunity to point out that our hotel, like all hotels of our chain, undergoes regular independent audits sent both by the company and the tour operators we collaborate with  to ensure our strict food safety management procedures, imposed on a global level by the company, are being followed and thoroughly respected at all times as under no circumstances would we put our guests’ health at risk by serving food in bad conditions, your safety being of course our main concern, therefore we can only assume that you may have consumed something outside the hotel during your stay or on your way to Aruba and sincerely hope that your friend is totally recovered as we speak. On the other hand we thank you for pointing out the kindness and enthusiasm of our staff, their friendliness and helpfulness being our hotels’ main strength we will definitely congratulate them all on your behalf for their contribution to your wellbeing whilst staying among us. The hotel was good. Check-in and check-out was easy. However restautant reservations were always booked but, the restaurants were never full. Also, guests claimed the poolside cabanas very early in the mornings with their towels and even snall tables on the cabanas and were not at the pool. Security told us that people claim the cabanas at 5AM then so back to sleep. I think there should be a policy that if you are not at the pool thrn you shouldn't have a cabana because it doesn't allow more guests to enjoy the pool amenities. Drinks were great and the beach was awesome!

This property was very mediocre. The food options was limited. It was suppose to be all inclusive. However room service was extra. Only one bar for the pool.Not enough staff to support. Make sure you bring an insulated cup if you drink.

This place is not a 5 star hotel. It was a cheap all inclusive you would by from a travel program. The food is horrible, the drinks were horrible. It was a bunch of senior citizens all over the resort. Very misleading. Only benefit it was walking distance from the main strip.

It waa a beautiful resort with great staff and food. We had a wonderful time at the resort and definitely will be returning in the future. The only thing I would change is more watee for three adults (I felt like we had to constantly ask for water and got one per person).

Our room was clean and the shows were great, although started late - at 10 pm. The Italian and hibachi restaurants were great. Bartenders and servers in buffet great. Edward at Italian restaurant was the best!! The hotel consistently ran out of pool towels, facecloths and hand towels. Not enough chairs at the pool. Many guests had to place their belongings on the side of the pool. Cold water in the shower. Hair dryer old and kept turning off. The whole property is outdated. Food at buffet is over cooked and terrible. Front desk not helpful and act like they’re being bothered. Learned about the resort from other guests. Explained all this to the manager Giovanni who wasn’t very receptive. He could less. We won’t return.

Many previous reviews stated concerns about reserving spots at the pool/beach with towels. That's the way it works!!! Get a clean towel the day before between 5:30 - 6:15 PM. We never stayed at pool. For beach, get online 6AM at start of path to beach. Getting a hut is tuff, everyone wants a hut. We got 4 chairs just to the left of where the path starts. Under a group of trees - a little sun but mostly shade. Perfect!!!!!!

We recently stayed at Barcelo Resort, and found it to be average overall. While the rooms and beds were comfortable, the buffet food left much to be desired, with repetitive offerings each day. The pool area was pleasant, but the pool bar frequently ran out of essentials like water. Saving a spot by the beach required an early wake-up call, and it was nearly impossible to reserve a spot by the pool. Additionally, obtaining fresh towels was a hassle due to frequent shortages. On a positive note, the resort boasts a fantastic location with nearby restaurants, bars, and a stunning beach. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. We never ate at the a LA carte restaurants. Drinks were fine by the bar. We wouldn't go back but this may be a good choice for a family who doesn't want to have all meals outside of the resort.

Great pool and beach. We routinely had issues getting towels at the pool as they would run out but otherwise it was fantastic. We loved the iguanas on the property!

This property was one of the worst resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The food at the restaurants was spoiled almost every night that I was there. They ran out of towels for about 5-6 hours. There wasn’t Always staff at the desk when I had questions. My room key card kept deactivating, so I couldn’t get into my room. This facility needs a major upgrade.

My husband and I were there for our long delayed honeymoon. We payed $1000 per night with the hope that the experience at Barcelo with be one of a kind. Let’s start with not acknowledging us as being there as husband and wife. Nothing in the room indicated that we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. The room was small. The key door had to be changed at least 3 or 4 times as it never worked. The shower could not drain. While taking a shower we were afraid that the bathroom could easily overflow with water. This was ridiculous for a 5 star rated hotel. It gets better, the soap dispenser was broken therefore it was impossible to soap your body without being frustrated. In addition it is an all inclusive hotel therefore all meals were provided. The food and service were terrible. My husband and I ended up dining out every day of our vacation. There not enough social events. There was only one bar and they can only make one type of drink. How do you stay in business? The physical appearance of the place is not friendly. When reporting those issues to the manager Isabelle, she was absolutely indifferent and could care less as she was not trying her best to understand our complaints. I would not recommend you

I am a senior citizen who needs assistance. My son and daughter-in-law stayed in the hotel next door and the Barcelo would not let either of them walk me to my room for assistance in preparation for bedtime and for picking me up in the morning.

My first room was horrible but the supervisor and hotel manager moved us to a nice room. The first room was a shock! It needed multiple things fixed which were done but I couldn’t see out the sliding glass door.
