This location was about a 20 minute walk from the cruise port in Oranjestad. Within a 7 minute walk you’ll find a few restaurants such as Barefoot Restaurant. The property itself is not maintained well. When I arrived there, I noticed multiple locations on the sofa where hair from the previous guest was left. Dried toothpaste as well near the soap dish. Mold on the shower curtain. Dust and dirt in the corners of walls which means the floors are not swept or mopped. My lysol wipes were dirty after I wiped down lights switches and door knobs which means nothing was disinfected. The toilet roll of tissue that was in the bathroom had been used because less than half a roll was left which leads me to believe nothing was cleaned before my arrival. The water in the shower was not even lukewarm. After requesting for a cleaning service, the employee did not inform me when she was done cleaning and left without locking the door. The doors must be locked with three keys from the inside as well as the outside which was a bit concerning. The only good thing I can say is that the A/C in the bedrooms kept the rooms cool. I would not return honestly because the price does not equal the quality of what was offered.

The place needs some renovations, the water wasn’t going down in the bathroom in the master bedroom, I spoke to the young lady and she said her boss was going to send someone but no one came. I also found out the guy next door was having the same issue with his bathroom. They need to put air conditioning in the living room, there is not much channels to chose from, or they need a guide to say what channels they do have. What was advertised wasn’t what we got. The refrigerator was full of ice( it needed to defrost). It was like a dorm refrigerator. The area is very quiet and everything is about 4 to 5 minutes from the apartment, that was the best thing. We asked for an iron and ironing board and that was given to us.

The internet photos we're not accurate to say it was off the beaten path is an understatement we did not feel safe in the neighborhood and one of the showers didn't have all the working parts

Apartment had all appliances one would need except an oven. Even provided a small cooler to take to the beach. Beach was within 5-minute walking distance. Very quiet area. Only one of the showers had hot water and the dmell from the sewer system was noticeable but not overwhelming. I would stay again.

Great value for money
Pega Pega Apartments provides the budget traveler with great value for money. The apartments are clean, safe and spacious, and provide all the amenities required for a comfortable stay in Aruba. Convenient and quiet location, within walking distance or a short drive of the beach and downtown Oranjestad. Limited service as office across the street is only open part of the day, and housekeeping is not provided everyday.

Apartment #11 was large, clean, inexpensive and very close to the airport (near the stadium, not the fancy side of town). The A/C in one bedroom was stuck on freezing, in the other bedroom the A/C was moderately cool, but the livingroom and kitchen area was hot hot hot --- no A/C at all. We brought our own food for the week and struggled to store our things inside the very tiny refrigerator. Wi-Fi was spotty, off and on. It was quiet at night.

Very nice apartment with all the necessities!
Had an overnight layover in Aruba and didn’t want to camp in the airport so we decided to book a stay at Pega Pega because the price was right and it was close to the airport. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised upon seeing the place. The apartment wasn’t anything resort-like, but it was very nice. Had all accommodations we needed (WiFi, AC, TV, warm water, comfy bed, fridge). We will definitely be booking with them again in the future. Thank you!

Had a great experience on our one year anniversary. Everything from booking to checking out has been pleasant. It includes everything listed in the description (wifi, full kitchen, king bed, etc) and the bed was super comfortable. I didn’t get his name but the employee from the Philippines really cares for the place and treats the guests with respect and does his best to make sure they are happy and enjoying their vacation. Just really got that warm feeling from talking with him. I feel like he would take time out of his personal schedule to accommodate the guests if they had a problem. Definitely a 1/1,000,000 character to find. Thanks Pega Pega, definitely will stay here again when we come back.

Can't beat it for the price
Lots of space and all the appliances you could need - simple but functional. Clean, too. The bed wasnt very comfortable for someone with back issues, and it's difficult to get the right temperature with the A/C blowing directly on your head. The check-in staff was very nice and explained everything, he stated housekeeping would come after three days but they never did. Which was fine, but I had a head cold so I ran out of tissue paper and had to steal that from my friends fancy hotel because the Pega office hours are very limited. Quiet at night but not so much during the day as it's adjacent to a school yard. Not too far from downtown (20 mins walking) but feels kind of sketchy at night. Overall it was a great value for the price and perfectly comfortable - would stay again.

Well, the property was ok but we never had the toillet cleaned. We had to clean the toillet every day the 8 days se stayed there. The cleaning services never appeared. It really was dissapointed.

It was in a fabulous area. But no hot water at all, and was told that most people on the island don’t have hot water. When asked for a new room, was told on Christmas that we had to leave and will get a refund. Then charged $200 more for a new room in another inn.

Dear Lonnie, you where asking for a refund and approached us very rude. I accepted the refund and came to you to arrange all, at that moment you where very friendly and then i suggested that you could get a room in our hotel with a small extra payment. You accepted this and told me your where very happy with this.I gave you a free breakfast because i wanted to make you as comfortable as possible. I think its very hard on our end to please people that can not be pleased, as i read her in the review.. But stil we thank you for staying with us and sharing YOUR truth.

Sliten leilighet uten basseng.
Leilighet dårlig merket. Aircond kun på soverommet. Kjøkken var nedslitt. Godt kjøleskap med frys. Det manglet brødrister og oppvaskmaskin. Toaster vannkoker og kaffetrakter var tilstede. Manglet vin og ølglass. Måtte rengjøre toastmaskinen selv og det ble gjort grundig. Vi måtte bruke vannkoker for å vaske opp med riktig temperatur. Håndklær skulle normalt byttes en gang i uken, men vi avtalte at vi kunne bytte ved behov uten ekstra kostnad. Strandhånklær var inkludert. Gratis parkering. Wifi var raskt og stabilt. Sanitært utstyr på badet var for å si det mildt UTDATERT! Ingen tørkesnor på badet. Typisk lavbudsjett leilighet. Det kan nevnes at det var ca 2 km å gå inn til sentrum og ca. 1 km til nærmeste strand. Nærmeste butikk 5 min. gange.

We stayed in the apartment for 8 nights and were overall pleased and would stay again. We did have an issue with the water leaking through the wall into the kitchen area after showering and some work is needed to repair the situation, but it did not keep us from enjoying our stay. I cooked dinner most nights and loved having the kitchenette. It is close enough yet far enough way from downtown area so it is quiet and peaceful. I thought we would be bothered by the noise of the airplanes since it is pretty close by but I was wrong. Loved it and would stay again.
