Hi John- we are sorry you were not informed of our Covid-breakfast policies. We have our policies stated very clearly on our website, which unfortunately is not able to be listed on Expedia. Our picnic breakfasts are very popular with many guests: daily pastries, homemade yogurt and granola, local crackers and cheese, hard boiled eggs and a piece of fruit. Given the intimacy of our dining room, we have implemented our breakfast picnic during Covid.

The room you stayed in, the Blue Ridge Room, has the fan connected to the lights because (in the spirit of the quirks of an old home) if you were to shower without the fan on it would set off every smoke alarm in the house! I apologize that it was unpleasant for you. We put in a nightlight so that the fan would not have to operate in the middle of the night. All of our rooms are vacuumed daily, I apologize if yours was missed during your stay. We are glad you enjoyed the other aspects of the inn and hope that you will choose to stay with us if ever in Asheville again.
