Thank you for your review, we value your opinion. It is unfortunate that your sister had her id stolen, but it is marked as a requirement to stay on the expedia website. For obvious reasons, most rebuttable hotels follow the same policy. Perhaps next time before you book a non-refundable reservation you may want to reach to the hotel. Your communication will go a long way in preventing unpleasant experiences for everyone.
