Great place to stay
As mentioned by other reviewers the friendliness-level at this hotel is exceptional. Everyone would stop what they were doing to make eye contact and say hello with a smile. My room was on the first floor and it was always clean. The water pressure was good and the hot water was always hot. It had its own balcony and the neighborhood was very quiet. Its located in a great part of town with the city's tram beginning its route across the street ftom this hotel. Walking distance to all the social life Glyfada has to offer as well. Highly recommend it and the price was exceptional. I stayed 2 weeks.

We liked everything. The hotel was in a convenient location. Near beaches, restaurants and shops. At the same time it was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 14 days, and we will stay there again.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use a renovation, but gets the job done. Staff is *very* friendly and helpful, it's quiet, the breakfast buffet is OK if basic (definitely not a brunch), it's VERY close to public transport and a 10-minute walk to the bustling Glyfada center. My main complaint was spotty Wi-Fi in the evening, but I would stay there again.

Great little hotel! Very good value!
My experience was very good. I had asked for a room high up in the hotel and they gave me a very good one on the second floor. It had a nice balcony, a queen size bed and one of the best bathrooms I found in Europe. The shower was especially good, compared to most of the accommodations I have stayed at in Europe. The breakfast was basic, but all I needed. Juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, assorted cheeses and pastries, apples, breakfast rolls, butter, honey, various jams, a couple kinds of cereals and milk. The staff was gracious and friendly. You can have breakfast indoors or out. It is located between two tram stops, so access to Glyfada and all points North is easy. Bus lines are nearby as well. You can easily walk to the beaches in Voula to the South and take the tram or walk to the Glyfada beaches. I like to walk and it would take me about 15 minutes to get to downtown Glyfada. However, there are lots of closer restaurants and stores that you pass along the way. I highly recommend this hotel. I wish I'd found it sooner.

Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the service was impeccable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. It was a short walk to the center of Glyfada with lots of shopping and restaurants. I prefer to be off the beaten path rather than on a busy road, so the Hotel Villa Orion was perfect.

Das Frühstück ist wirklich nur kontinental. Man wurde satt aber mehr auch nicht. Für Veganer sieht es verdammt schlecht aus. Aber alle Zimmer haben einen Kühlschrank und es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe, da haben wir für unsere vegan lebende Tochter alles bekommen und zum Frühstück mit runter genommen. Den beschriebenen eigenen Strand gibt es nicht. Der den man auf Anhieb findet, ist leider zum bezahlen und sehr teuer. Aber es gibt einen öffentlichen Strand. Sehr versteckt, nicht ausgeschildert und nicht leicht zu finden. Aber wenn man ihn gefunden hat, wird man mit glasklarem Wasser und feinem Sand belohnt. Die Unterkunft an sich ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise wirklich renovierungsbedürftig. Duschen geht nicht immer weil entweder die Tür an der Dusche fehlt oder sich die Temperatur nicht regeln lässt. Wir mussten uns die Zimmertür oftmals vom Personal öffnen lassen weil der Drehknopf weder von außen noch von innen richtig ging - Zimmer 208 würde ich nicht wieder nehmen. Da wir uns viel von Athen ansehen wollten, war die Bushaltestelle um die Ecke super. Zum Abendessen sind wir eine viertel Stunde in ein gutes Restaurant mit viel Auswahl gelaufen. Im Großen und Ganzen war es OK. Wenn man kleine Mängel in Kauf nehmen kann, ist es eine preiswerte Unterkunft.

Pros: - Location was good, not far from shops & a bunch of really nice restaurants & bars. It is very close to a few beaches however both were closed when we were there for renovation. We ended up getting Ubers into Athens which were reasonably priced - around €15 - Staff were lovely, nothing bad to say about them. Desk is manned 24/7 - There’s a mini fridge in the room which was very convenient as we stocked up on snacks and water - They arranged a driver to pick us up upon request from the airport & he turned up with a sign with our name on Cons: - Cleanliness wasn’t quite up to scratch, there was a lot of dust, hairs in the bathroom and it doesn’t appear the balcony was ever cleaned as on the second day a large amount of dead flies randomly appeared on our balcony and they remained there for the rest of the holiday so we didn’t sit out there after the first night. Most of the towels had holes in them too. - Decor was very very outdated, our room in particular had bright lime green walls, with green wardrobes & green curtains. It seemed outdated and the furniture was quite worn - There was no kettle in the room which was a big miss, but also the shower was terrible. There was a space where the shower door had been but wasn’t there and so it was almost impossible not to get water all over the floor and it was simply a shower head which you had to hold up yourself which also leaked from the head - was just a bad shower experience overall

Great hotel with very helpful staff.
Great hotel. We had to change our plans to come in a day early because our car was broken into near Sparta and passport was stolen. The 24 hour desk staff was very accommodating, helping with our embassy documents and acting as our contact with the Sparta police (most police officers did not speak English). And they helped us relax. I wish our stay was under better circumstances, but they made it better than we thought possible. Hotel was convenient to the airport, near many great restaurants, and the room was comfortable. We hope to come back here on our next stay. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was the in-room fridges can be very noisy at night, and even though we unplugged ours, we could hear our neighbour's fridge through the wall.

This is not a client-oriented operation. Bare minimum service, elevator not working, no one to take the luggage up the stairs. Decent continental breakfast. A sad old "Has-Been".

Отель уютный, стильный, персонал очень отзывчивый. Завтрак скромный, без горячей еды. Остановка автобуса в город и аэропорт в двух минутах, хотя ходят автобусы не часто. Пляжи недалеко и платные, и бесплатные. Супермаркет и кафешки в семи минутах ходьбы. Торговый центр в Глифаде в нескольких остановках.

Terrific service and location
Considering the price point, this hotel and staff was fantastic. Close to Beach, the town of Glyfada and the tram that brings to within one metro stop of the Accropolis in Athens.

Hotel très bien situé hors Athènes
Hotel idéalement situé a coté de la mer, accès direct aéroport, ligne tramway pour Athène à coté. En retrait de la circulation pour un calme reposant. Restaurants divers et variés à 1km, avec toutes sortes de commerces. Accueil chaleureux et efficace pour toutes demandes. Stationnement gratuit aisé.
