Lovely rainforest stay
Really enjoyable stay in fully furnished cottage right inside the rainforest. Many different birds and animals to see close up. A wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely, well-equipped cottage set in nature. Birds at your door step in a home away from home. Amazing wildlife come to feed at your doorstep with superb service from hosts, John and Jenny. Simply a bird photographers paradise !

Such a peaceful place among the rainforest. Waking to the chorus of varied birds is magical. The owners were so enthusiastic about there cottages and keen to pass on their bird knowledge. A wonderful experience.

Beautifully equipped cottage in a lovely secluded environment. Remarkable wildlife including a magnificent display by the Victoria Rifle bird. Very thoughtful provision of food for the birds. Wifi a bit flaky.

Lovely rainforest stay
We had 2 lovely days here. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The breakfast hamper was great. The bed was comfortable and nice hot showers in the spacious bathroom. There is a handy laundry on-site We enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the birds come in for the food we were given by the host. Victoria's Riflebirds, catbirds, honeyeaters and robins, amongst others, as well as musky-rat kangaroos and antechinus, all kept us entertained.

This is a very beautiful property deep in the rainforest. There are loads of animals you can feed and will visit your cottage. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all your needs.

Perfect stay
Absolutely beautiful place. Very peaceful and relaxing. Surrounded by rainforest. Excellent location close to forest walks and short drive to lovely towns and cafes. Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be back.

コテージで2泊しましたが最高でした。行く道は山道で少し分かりにくいですが、ホストのJohnとJonnyが私たちを気にかけてくださりとても助かりました。普段の世界とはかけ離れた世界で時間も忘れて楽しむことができました。また行きたいです。 It was perfectly awesome accommodation and the host, John and Jonny were super nice and kind. They helped us when we need help. I would recommend this cottage and host. Thank you again for hosting us. From Japan.

Peacefull to the max.
Jenny John and Noodle (the dog) are excellent hosts. Explained the territory and animals likely to visit. Food to feed the animals is included. Will be going back again.

Wonderful location nestled in the rainforest with plenty of birds and animals to keep us company. It rained a lot of the time but that only added to the experience with the noise on the roof and the glistening rainforest foliage. Our beach themed cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly as was their dog Noodles. Whilst we didn’t need to light the fireplace we did as it just added to the atmosphere of the surrounding environment. Just down the road from Lake Eacham and within easy access to historic Yungaburra. Would certainly recommend the cabins.

A few nights in the mountains
A pleasant change from the Queensland coast. Our experience was heightened by getting so close to some of the birds of the area with the help of our hosts. The place is well located for touring the tablelands and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Hiding away in a bush location suited us well.

Relaxing rainforest retreat!
Everything was just perfect! The welcome from John and Jenny when we arrived made us feel relaxed and welcome right from the start- and the place was just perfect. Everything had been thought of and provided from bubbles for the spa bath to a beautiful bottle of port to relax by the fire! Feeding the birds and friendly Animals became a relaxing daily ritual. We left feeling nourished and refreshed.and we will return! :-)

Fantastic location
Very clean, comfortable and well presented. Lovely location right in the rainforest. Plenty of wildlife at the door to watch. A real escape and very relaxing. Perfect getaway to recharge the battery. Excellent.

Relaxing in the rainforest with the wild life
Excellent location amongst the rainforest with bird feeding out of your hand. So close to Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine.

Romantic cottage in the rainforest of NQ
Enjoyed a peaceful weekend away in the middle of the rainforest. The tranquil atmosphere with the sounds of the rainforest birds and animals was delightful. The sound of a rifle bird could be heard in the distance. The owner provided us with containers of food to give to small birds, bush turkeys and wallabies. He also provided us humans with a wonderful breakfast hamper of delights on our arrival. The port and chocolates went down very well that evening.

very relaxing & highly recommended
I have to say out of all the places I have stayed at this would have to be the most relaxing. From when you first walk into the cottage it has a real homely feel and a real sense of privacy. The cleaning standards are very high and the wife loved feeding the wildlife.

Very quiet place to stay
I love this place so much I keep coming back. It really does have everything you need in the cabins, right down to paper towel and cling wrap. Birds will sit on your hand and eat and the paddymelons ( a type of wallaby) will come right up to the steps. So peaceful and quiet.

Magnifique séjour malgré le temps gris. Super petit dejeuner. Ballades autour des lacs. Avons vu 2 petits kangourous (1 maman avec un bébé) et un kangourou-rat. Super. Decoration du bungalow tres jolie, jusque dans les moindres détails. Vraiment perdu dans la forêt. Dommage, por moi, allergie aux aoûtats.

Best place we've ever stayed!!
Wow! What an amazing, unforgettable place this was. We stayed for 3 nights but wish we had stayed for a week! The cottages are perfect for any couple who want to get away from it all. Just a 15 minute walk to Lake Eacham. Very peaceful place in the middle of the lush rainforest. Perfect romantic getaway thanks to John and Jenny who do a fantastic job of running the place! If you are ever visiting The Tablelands you must stay here :)

リラックスするならここしかない。
森の中にあるホテルで、野鳥や小動物が毎日見られます。キッチンも充実しているので、自炊がオススメ。 一食分だけ朝ごはんの材料をもらえるのも助かります。近所には、当然ながらお店などはなく、一番近い街まで、車で20分ぐらい。近くに、泳げる湖があり賑わっています。部屋はとにかく広い一軒家のコテージ。

Rainforest Indulgence
We spent 2 nights here in quite wet weather which only added to the atmosphere. The cabins are all you could want and nice and warm with the fire going. Lots of wildlife kept us amused on or near our deck highlighted by a beam of light through a gap in the rainforest canopy.
