I was sick by the time of check-in. So therefore, my "thorough room inspection" wasn't up to par like normal. But by the end of my stay, I realized a lot! My bedspread hadn't been changed prior to my visit. There was a small BLOOD splatter on my bedspread, and the sheet beneath. I didn't have a wound, so I know it wasn't me! The room and hallways smelled of mold. When I was being discharged, the attendant at the front desk stated he couldn't give me a receipt. I told him I literally just left a Sonesta Suites a couple of days prior, and paid the same way. They provided me with a receipt. He said "well they shouldn't have". Then once I'm at my car, he comes out and says he could give me one. When I go back in, he says he "emailed it to me". Why not just print it out?!? Anyway, I check my email, the receipt was blank. I go back in, and he said " I sent it without any info". So then he proceeds to print out the copy, and email it to me. He was a decent guy, but all of that could have been avoided. It was a horrible stay! I will not be back.
