I've stayed at this property three times now and since I'm racing at the nearby racetrack it's a fantastic location for me plus it's right next to the waffle House for breakfast next door. Aside from cigarette and pot smell here and there and some rap music from somebody's car in the parking lot it's a pretty good property. You feel safe enough there but if you are a stickler for everything being perfect you might not like it. The staff are very polite but the elevator wasn't always working when I was there which was a little problem.

The floors and elevator were very dirty. The staff was nice for the most part. There was a large beetle that we found in the bathtub the morning we woke up to leave.

Generally bad experience, room was old and dated, room and the hall way was smelly, no hot water in shower, and when I called staff said no maintenance available and said I have to live with with it, so next day I had to cancel my 4 nights and they charge me the next day and refund the next 2 days. said hotel policy need to give them 24 hours notice but how u know the smell and no hot water if u don't see it and I paid expedia website extra protection plan but it wasn't enough, hotel still charged me for one night and when I called expedia they offered $60 back.

Sleep good
Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Very small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. There is not a coffee pot in room or a free breakfast like I saw for amenities on website. Free coffee in hallway but no cups. If you stay for extended,than I assume you have to bring all your stuff for cooking. Staff was nice. Hotel is clean.

Good experience from beginning to end, rooms were nice and clean and the staff friendly and professional (especially the young lady that was new) at my checkout time. This is where I will be staying when in New Orleans.

My overall stay was wonderful and very peaceful. However my check in was terrible. Hotels.com charged my card and when I arrived it was a problem on their end. It took me an hour to check in. Very unacceptable!

Solo stop home
It smelled damp in the hallway of the 3rd floor. Kids were noisy and running amuck in the hallways. the room wasnt cleaned properly. Had a hole in my headboard, someone left a dirty sock in the room, and there were silverfish in the sink and toilet. I thhink the room was over priced to have those type issues, i think you guys should start pricing rooms at $50. Its fair for the way the place is kept up on the inside. These rooms need to be rehabed. The entire place sort of does too.

We went for a weekend trip to New Orleans. Westwego was affordable and close to where we were visiting. The check staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious with a stove, microwave, and full fridge. Beds are soft and comfortable. On Saturday night there was a man singing loudly down the hall but once we close our door we could not hear him. The only disappointing part of the stay was the Waffle House next. I had read in past reviews that it was a short walk for breakfast. Save time and buy groceries or drive a little further.

Way too expensive for how dirty and disgusting this place is. They overbooked and put myself and two children in a smoking room. Stay far away from this property.

Stayed here for Mardi Gras its 30 minutes from everything it is a nice hotel the staff were very friendly would recommend if you dont want to pay all that money to stay in the French Quarter.

Bed bugs!!!
The staff was nice but the condition of the building and room was not. The building had a horrible smell, the room was not clean, crumbs of food all over the floor and counters, and as soon as we pulled the sheets back there were bugs in the bed. I immediately left and wasn’t offered a refund, NEVER AGAIN!

Ehh.... not all that.
Immediately after walking into the building, I noticed a roach just hanging out at the check in counter. I only saw one so I figured that it was maybe from someone’s house and proceeded to check in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Went on to the room which had a stale smell. Went to take a shower and hair was all over the shower letting me know that it was not cleaned well. Pulled the covers back on the bed and what do ya know? we found MORE hair. My daughter went to sit in the office chair and goes “Mom what’s this?” Low and behold, it’s a sex dice. It’s a quiet hotel. Nice in appearance but they do not do a good job at cleaning it. Also if you take the stairs, the walk down the first floor hall is horrible. The smell almost made me vomit. I would maybe give it a 4 out of 10 stars and that’s ONLY because the front desk staff is so amazing.

Cleanliness was not the greatest. There bugs in the beds and in the sinks. The was dirt and food on the walls. There was trash and crumbs on the floors.

The staff tries, but this hotel is in serious need of a revamp. The shower didn’t work & the tub took over 25 minutes to drain (I timed it after we briefly ran it to try & wash without the shower). The hotel is noisy, the walls are so thin we could make out every word of the conversation in the next room. All for over $200 a night when we booked. Not a great experience.

Value did NOT match the price
Only decent rate left in the NOLA area 3 weeks out from NYE. 25 mins from downtown, smelled like smoke and weed throughout the whole building, minimal smell in the room, many bugs in the room, no coffee/tea/cups in the room, minimal towels and toiletries, only 2 small pillows on each bed, hair dryer did not work

the bed was very comfortable. it was chosen from the hotel that would have a shuttlle there was none the taxi coct 60.00. it was located in an area that was run down and it was best that we remained inside. It was less than clean. dirty worn rugs. the room that we had was maybe a 50.00 a night type room. there was a smalll camera on the TV which I do not know the purpose of. we covered it. It was a old run down dump rented to low income extended stay type people that could and would not be able to aford it if it was 50.00 a night. we paid a wopping 174.00 . this was way below any standard that you should and would allow.
