The breakfast that was included was amazing. The restaurant was really cute and cozy and right by the water. I did like that the hotel is close to the water. It was just a little rundown. Especially on the roof. The room was really hot. The air conditioning really blue hot air. I’m not really circulating.

Okey qualité/prix Mais pas d’eau chaude, meute de chiens devant l’hotel. Coq Le Matin des 4-5h Trouve hôtel à côté à peine plus cher. Si vous pouvez éviter à éviter.

Exceeded My expectation.
This is by far the best value in all of Bali, I have no idea why the place wasn't packed with guest, but that was also terrific. We had the ocean front restaurant to ourselves almost every night and the food was of gourmet quality at super reasonable prices. The bed was really comfortable and the A/C got the room really cold as long as you pressed the correct buttons on the remote. The beach is all sand and see Blacky at the Surf school he's super cool.

Close to the beach. Basic room, air con broken
Cheap place to stay. Get what you pay for. Our air conditioning was broken unfortunately but it was only $10 a night.

Was nice but you get what you pay for!
The hostel was a stop off point for me and my friend. If you are looking for a quiet hostel on the beach and aren’t too fussed about exploring places this will be fine for you! We wanted to explore so we hired a bike for a few days - we felt very safe driving around here and was a 10 minute drive to Dreamland Beach. The hostel wasn’t in the best shape, not the cleanest and the shower was cold. We weren’t given towels or any information on check in and there is only one choice of restaurant nearby with limited choice of food. It served its purpose but was very basic.

Only good thing right on the beach No wifi although advertised it A/C not working the draining plug for shower at other end of room so toilet area gets wet nothing to dry it with

Buen precio calidad pero sin agua caliente
Muy bien ubicado, al lado de la playa pudiendo ir caminando. La habitación es grande y está bien pero el lavabo no es moderno y no tienen agua caliente. Si no te importa ducharte con agua fría, es tu hotel. Muy buen precio calidad por la zona dónde está.

Much better than most reviews suggest.
Close to the beach, clean rooms, friendly staff and really well worth it for the price. Not sure why there are a lot of bad reviews.

On the door step to Balangan surf
What a spot! Apart from no hot water your staying amongst the ever friendly Balinese and only 200m away from the surf . The roof top is perfect for checking the surf. You have access to scooters and transport and a 5 min ride to live music and great food and cheap Bintang. I enjoyed it because I don't want to get stuck in a resort I wanted to get out and about and not hang with to many Aussies. Great for surfers on a budget.

Close to the beach, but the bathroom no good
The location is great, right near balangan beach. Though the bathroom in my room was strange, there was no sink, the shower at one end of the room and the drain at the other end, with a toilet that leaked water on the floor in the middle.

Okay, firstly, I'll never come to Bali again. It's full of thieves. That being said, if you're coming, this hotel is nice. Super basic and simple, but 20 metres to the beach and everyone is nice.

Très jolie plage mais coin assez isolé. J'ai choisit cet hôtel pour nos deux premières nuit. Un peu galère pour tirer de l'argent ( il faut louer un scooter pour trouver un DAB) La chambre est spacieuse, avec un confort sommaire, surtout au niveau de la salle de bain ( pas d'eau chaude, salle de bain inondée des qu'on prend une douche ...).Climatisation fonctionnelle et lits confortables. Nuits bruyantes ( coqs et meutes de chiens).Personnel plutôt sympa, un peu détaché... Très bien pour petit budget.

Three nights at Balangan
Hotel condition is ok. Breakfast very bad, barely nothing to eat. Beachview from the "hotel restaurant" was great. Balangan Beach got great views, lots of waves though. Easy to rent a scooter right by the hotel and take a trip which I do recommend. Supermarket is not close. Wifi is not so good.

Hôtel à la limite de l'insalubrité
Hôtel insalubre, hygiène déplorable, bruit permanent jour et nuit des scooters car parking de la plage juste à côté . Dommage car à 2 mn de la plage, Et pour clôturer, un membre du personnel a voulu récupérer ma caution, car je n'avais pas récupérer de reçu.

My Wonderful Stay
At first I was hesitant staying at this hotel because of bad reviews. However, just when I reached here, I was so amazed with it's neighborhood. When it comes to room, I should say that I got what I paid for. The room is very spacious. I chose the upper level so I could have a nice view of the outside. The room is basic. There's ac and a washroom. Although the washroom is not so much in good condition but acceptable. The staff are ok. Not with what I read that are rude and not nice. Didn't have a problem with that. My transport was arranged too. It's near the beach and far from the city. So expect that you won't see anything except for beach and surfers. It's perfect for relaxing and a nice view of surfers. So far my stay was great. I wished to stay more but that would cost me a lot for ticket stuff. Anyway, if I ever go back to Bali, I'd definitely include this place in my itinerary.

Basic beach motel
Beautiful beach good for snorkling and surfing but....staff doesn't speak English and won't help get a taxi, instead they make you take their expensive transport service. No housekeeping. Breakfast and restaurant food is good and cheap. Ugly and scratchy bedding, with an unclean bathroom, and lots of aggressive dogs on site that tend to gang up and chase your scooter. Can be scary. Good place if you're looking for very basic accommodations, and only care about being close to the beach. More like a motel than a hostel.

Nice for a Hostel
Beautiful setting on the beach, they even have an area on the roof with a nice view! The restaurant is detached but it's good because it's right on the beach. Beautiful to enjoy the sunset and the many different choices for continental breakfast!

Pretty rough place
Room was quite simple. There were no sheets at all in the bed, so we slept our towels covering the bed. Not very luxurous really, for that price of the room (12,5€/night/for two). The beach area was quite rough-looking, and there was a lot of trash on the otherwise nice cliff nearby. Breakfast included the usual, i.e. toast, eggs and some fruit.

Vi checkade ut o förtid..
Hotellet var bland det risigaste jag bott på, personalen va ganska trött, berättade inte att restaurangen låg i en annan byggnad, eller att man skulle få frukostbiljetter mm. Det städades aldrig och sängkläderna kändes inte fräscha alls, badrummet var väldigt mögligt och inget varmvatten. Mögellukten försökte dom dölja med doftspray, ingen vidare lukt kombination. hotellet ligger uppe på höjden, inte vid vattnet som på bilden, det är restaurangen. Stranden är kanonfin med bra vågor, dock är det sten botten och bara mitt på dan man kan bada direkt från stranden. Vi bytte hotell pga att det va så dåligt, bättre å bo en bit bort och ta moped eller taxi till stranden.

のんびりできる宿
価格が安いので期待はしていませんでした。しかし朝食はジュース・フルーツ・トーストとありました。室内は程度な広さでエアコン付なので涼しく過ごせます。海に一番近い宿で夜でも海岸に出れます。宿の周りには何もないのです。物売りがいないので海でのんびりするにはとても良いです。食事は宿のレストランでもで食べれますが、海岸沿いに数軒あるワルンが安くて美味しいのでお勧めです。夕日はとても素敵です。サーファーが多いです。次回も絶対に泊まりたいです。

So-so
This place is a good value because of its location right on the beach. However, the low cost does not get you things like a hot shower, or good air conditioning (we had a ac unit in our room but it was not very powerful). It is very noisy during the day because many people come to park in front of the hostel to get to the beach. Also there are many roosters and dogs around making noise as well. We had one good and one bad experience with their transportation service. I would recommended this hotel for a beach weekend. A stay longer than 3 days might get very uncomfortable.

Unschöne Hotelkaserne
Alles was nach diesem Hotel in Bali noch kam, war besser! Das mitgebuchte Extrabett war zunächst nicht da. Das Bad war für diesen Preis auch für balinesische Verhältnisse eine Zumutung. Durch die direkt vor dem Hotelzimmer gehaltenen Hähne und dem Parkplatz für die Surfer war es extrem laut. Müll wurde direkt (!) am Hotel verbrannt. Der Fahrer des Hotels war sehr unfreundlich. Never again - schon gar nicht zu diesem Preis. Wer trotzdem einfach surfen will: Vor Ort buchen, da wesentlich günstiger.

Your average hostel
No hot water. Old mattresses. Sink faucet wasnt working. Rooster non stop. Somedays loud music at night but until 9 or 10pm. No swimming because of coral. For surfers. Cheap good food at the restaurants on the beach. Everyone in bed by 8pm

Not a leisure vacation place
the stay was okay, there is no hot water and geckos in the room. The bathroom is connected, shower and toilet are together. Staff was friendly and somewhat helpful.

Ужасное обслуживание, номер убирают только по просьбе, насчитали нам какую-то яичницу, когда мы уезжали, сказали не входит в завтрак и посчитали за 1 день, а мыели ее 4 дня. Персонал не отзывчивый, за исключением 1 мальчика, он почти не говорит по-английски, но очень позитивный. Местоположение для романтика, красивый вид, красивые закаты и в общем-то это все развлечения, что есть...

Hotellet ligger längst bort i en gränd som kanske inte ser så fint ut, men väl på hotellet är det lugnt, två steg till poolen och jättebra service. Gratis lokaltransport i Ubud. Bokade tre nätter men stannar i sex nätter till!

Don't come along here
I was looking for a chip place near a beautiful beach, the beach is really beautiful BUT Information on website is not correct: no massage, no bicycle rent, no cleaning every day, bathroom terrible, no telephone in hostel, no shops around, no restaurants or whatever, hostel's restaurant close at 20.00, and after that you are in the middle of nowhere, my towels where smell like they where not fresh, no travel tours just expensive taxi ( but you can rent motorbike) I am trying to reach hostel's managers to cancel my booking and refund money- they don't pick up phone and don't reply on my e-mails, the stuff is nice, but boys are very young and not competent, they don't have money on their phones and don't know how to reach their management, wifi is bad, and etc, so.. if you want to enjoy Bali, don't come here it will destroy your vacation, better choose hotel not far from the beach and rent a bike

Für preisbewusste Urlauber ok
Saubere und zweckmäßige Zimmer oberhalb der Belangan Beach gelegen. Service ok. Nachts zum Teil laut (Party in anderen Zimmern). Ausstattung könnte bißchen besser sein, z. B. fehlt ein Spiegel über dem Waschbecken und für die Handtücher gibt es keinen Haken zum aufhängen. Preis Leistung Verhältnisse ok.

Great value; stones throw from beach
We enjoyed our one night stay at Balangan.. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and the food and drinks at the restaurant are reasonable and tasted good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We appreciated drying racks outside the room as well as the provided soap, shampoo, and water bottles. No fridge or TV, FYI, but the air conditioning works great. Only complaint was that the drain for the shower was on the opposite side of the bathroom so the whole shower floor got wet but it wasn't a huge deal.

Right next to Balangan Beach!
Great location! The hostel was more like a hotel! It was a beautiful hostel and the staff was great! They also have motorbikes for rent which was very convenient. The only downside was that their card machine wasn't working so we couldn't use our credit card.
