Overall we had a lovely stay. The property is a little tried but hey you get what you pay for. It costed us about $45 per night so we were not expecting a 5 star resort. Staff were friendly and it is in a great position to shops, bars and food. We would stay there about.

Avoid
Broken glass in the doors and windows, Power outlet hanging out of the wall, dirty stained towels. Blocked drains where they have tried to cover the smell with air freshener (it doesn't work). Bathroom with an open ceiling that allows hordes of mosquitoes in the room. Doors that don't close. They've obviously completely given up on any kind of maintenance, This place is not only uncomfortable but obviously dangerous. I honestly wouldn't stay here again if it was free. To make it even worse the hotel provides the worst day tour of Bali that I can possibly imagine with a tour guide that probably doesn't speak English (it's hard to say when he doesn't speak). This hotel should be avoided at all costs.

This was the worst dive of a hotel I have ever stayed in thank god it was only for two nights, if I wasn't so broke I would have just gone elsewhere. After the first night we woke to a really funky smell from the drains yep it was sewerage smell, we complained three times the next day to get someone to sort it, they did what they could but we had to put face washers over the drains and a bath towel along the bottom of the door so we could sleep and have a break from the smell. I notice some discolouration on one of the pillows and when I peeled the pillow slip back the pillow was filthy with mould stains and yellow staining from the countless guests drewel, it was absolutely disgusting this hotel doesn't use pillow protectors. As you enter the foyer there is a kitchen it stinks I can't believe they have even put tables there for you to dine in that stench. There was a dog laying in the foyer not at all professional, and my daughter made an appointment with the beauty salon where there were kittens running around and jumping on chairs, not at all sanitary. Everything in this place was dirty and dingy and I can't believe they are allowed to even advertise on last minute.com they should be shut down. Disgusted.

Maintenance please!
The hotel is well located in Semiyak area and close to local warungs and upmarket restaurants. The hotel itself is in need of a good clean up, declutter of the entry area and application of general maintenance. It was comfortable and convenient - for those looking for the old Bali hotels. The garden bungalows lack some basic needs such as wardrobe drawers etc The room tends to be quiet except when local hotels (Dash/Montego) are playing loud, repetitive, mind thumping music.

Les bungalows sont bien pensés, salle de bain propre avec service de chambre tous les jours. Problème de réfrigérateur le dernier matin qui a fait une fumée irrespirable, le personnel n’avait pas l’air inquiet et zéro excuses 😤

Really friendly staff and very accommodating. The communal areas could be updated however and general cleanliness improved e.g. leaving dirty plates on the side in view of customers and bathroom ceiling leaked when it rained. A few small improvements and this place would be a great oasis in a buzzy area.

Very good location in Seminyak
Close to the beach, many good shops & restaurants. It really is a little oasis once you are at the hotel. Good value for money. We stayed 2 nights in the standard bungalow which was compact but has all you need for the stay. If we were staying longer, would have chosen the superior bungalow for a little more room. Will stay again.

Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, clean room and facilities. Food in tv mystique cafe was a little disappointing but doesn’t reflect on the hotel. Would definitely return and recommend.

Hotel in great location
The staff where fantastic, truly made you feel welcome. Bungalow was a superb way to spend a relaxing week. Great location, walking distance to the beach, Seminyak Square and with a great assortment of restaurants to chose from within 10 minutes of your door.

A hidden gem
Great resort, polite and very helpful staff, good location. The place has amazing potential but it could do with a little investment. I would definitely go back!!

Bra hotel men kolla på vilken rumstyp du bokar
Trevligt hotel som ligger nära många restauranger, pubar och nsttklubbar. En bit och gå till stranden men ganska nära. Kolla på rumstypen du boka som jag skrev i titeln. Vi boka en garden bungalow de är lite äldre rum med stråtak. Fina och rena rum men med renoveringsbehov föreligger min saftyn fungera exempelvis inte. Trevlig uteplats men blåste in lite skräp på så en kvast på rummet hade varit bra. Kunde även gärna fått vara en fotölj på rummet med men funkar att ta in en av utemöblerna. Var lite lyhört och du kunde höra både naturlig och andra hyresgäster. Frukosten var bra och ligger en väldigt trevlig resturang alldeles runt hörnet som hade bra billig mat.

Basic room in the heart of Seminyak, lots on foot!
we had a quick weekend in bali to attend an event at the very well known potato head club. it was just a short walk. there are lots of great restaurants in this area and it was a bit quieter than i expected, which was a nice treat. the rooms are cute, but the rooms smelled very musty and are a bit dated.

Great location easy to get to beach
Easy to get to beach for walks surf lazing about. Just out of the main busy part of Seminyak but easy access. The staff here are wonderful. Nothing too much trouble from helping with Luggage to giving advice on tourist spots. They help to arrange requests eg cooking courses.

Flott opphold, veldig hyggelig betjening, godt aircondition-anlegg. Det lå¨ca. 10 minutters gange til strand. Fint svømmebasseng som ble godt benyttet. Turen var i grunn fantastisk!!

Quiet, but close to restaurants, bars, etc.
Beautiful huge penthouse suite, plenty big enough for a family of 6, although not enough towels or bottled water provided. Room service food was excellent. Only complaint was pool bar was not open & they ran out of towels. Pretty good value for money, especially for families.

Staff need training. Nice size clean rooms.
The breakfast was ok. However, it's the service that really lets it down. These staff need training in waitressing! Despite being guests with breakfast included, they continually left us waiting and offered us menu cards. We only had one option! They were all very sweet, but incredibly slow at taking our order, making our drinks and then delivering our food - and it was often not what we asked for! For example I always wanted no garlic on my mushrooms / tomatoes and they kept adding it anyway! One day I told the waitress we were in a hurry and would like breakfast quickly as a car was coming to take us out for the day and she said ok, but then continued to lay tables ready (even though we were the only guests!) We only once got the yoghurt and honey that was meant to be included in the breakfast, the rest of the time we constantly had to remind them. The room cleaning was excellent and they cleaned every day. The towels were large and soft and smelled lovely. Overall I would say all the staff need more customer service training. They are sweet and laid back but it was also my sisters 40th birthday which was why we came to Bali and I asked for several things on email before we arrived and none of them were suggested or remembered by the reception staff! Overall we had a good stay, but the hotel is definitely only 3 star. The staff are friendly but ineffective and the area has terrible traffic and no safe place to walk.

Except for the wifi that only works in the lobby and the pool (the sun does not shine there because the buildings), I loved this place and the bungalows..wow!

We stayed here for a week and was going to stay longer but we had family coming and wanted to be close to them so moved. we had a hiccup the first night with a lot of rain so the lovely norm up graded us to an apartment what a treat they couldn't do enough to help us, great place and staff. and Norm the owner is awesome. /near potatoe head and not far from Seminyak markets and square some great eating places

HOTEL FROM HELL
The hotel was probably luxurious.... back in 1983. Dilapidated, run down, mouldy and just awful.

Fantastic stay
My 2 girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Bali Mystique. The location could not be more perfect and the staff were always friendly. For the location it is really well priced. I will definitely come back here many times and will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Beautiful sanctuary
Really close to all of the shops. The room was very gorgeous for how decent the price was. The bathroom drain clogged up a bit but that happens a lot in Bali . The staff were helpful

je verwacht geen bungalow in de tuin van hotel maar er staan enkele die voorzien zijn van basics; wellicht zou enig onderhoud/renovatie het niveau hoger segmenteren maar strikt genomen is alles zeer voldoende. Ontbijt waren we vergeten gelijk te boeken maar bleek goede optie dit a la carte te regelen evenals een 'vergeten'dag bij aankomst;we waren een dag te vroeg, werd zeer plezierig opgelost. Prima verzorgd tijdens verblijf

Peaceful , gorgeous gardens and lovely rooms.
Perfect location opposite Bambu restaurant and a few doors from potatoe head. Very peaceful though ! Stunning garden setting . I stayed in a standard bungalow (118) and it was a lovely room with such gorgeous linen I wanted to buy the bed cover from them ! Tea and coffee provided so sitting in the mornings on my porch having a cup of tea was a fantastic way to start the day. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you. The only thing that made me rate it 4 is the bathroom which is a bit tired so it pulls the room down a bit. It's not awful and it's very clean but needs a zhoosh so it matches the lovely room. I will still stay here again though as the staff, garden , peace and quiet and bed comfort all add up to a perfect hotel. I've stayed in many villas and hotels in Bali and this is a real winner. Kikis salon is great too ! Kiki washed and blow dried my hair and he is amazing with a brush,comb and hairdryer !
