Great venue. Friendly staff. However they didn’t have ironbox upon request. And also the receptionist is not at desk at all times So it gets pretty scary after a while.

Upon arrival of the hotel there was no one at reception to check us in. We were probably the only two in the whole hotel within the time we were there. There was also a food menu but most of the options were unavailable, this was a hassle as we were so hungry and were too far out from the centre of Ubud. We were also not told about the huge building beside the hotel which was under construction and made a lot of noise. After trying one night in the hotel we decided to check out and change hotels!

I booked Mangosteen hotel for 6 days and I checked out after 30 mins , the hotel is a 1 star hotel and I'm not sure why its 4 stars on Hotels.com , there is a new building in front of the hotel and once my wife opened the window some local people were staring at us, i tried to put my money in the safe lock but it didn't work. no one from the staff asked me why i want to check out and they charged me 250,000 RP for a 15 min taxi "most expensive taxi during my stay in Bali" I DON"T RECCOMEND IT

Slightly better than a hostel
Booked a non-refundable 28-day stay but left after only 11 nights (and checked into a Marriott). Housekeeping and food need improvement: I frequently needed to request toilet roll and shampoo/shower gel (when both are clearly empty) and was occasionally left without towels or a duvet cover, all of which are worn and/or soiled; the toilet seat also unattached itself during my stay. Other guests could be heard from my room—particularly if you stay in #103 beside the stairs—and wifi could be spotty with calls frequently dropping. Food menu is limited and basic, and having to order the night before plus state seating time—every single day—would have been a nuisance had staff not been so pleasant, the only redeeming quality about Mangosteen. However, there wasn't always someone at reception—an indication of understaffing or inefficiency—so guests were frequently venturing into the kitchen for assistance. I’d also agree with other reviewers that the location is manageable but a bit far from town. Overall, this establishment appears poorly managed by parent company, Premier Hospitality Asia, so I will be steering clear of all its properties in future.

The staff were friendly enough. The place is quite quiet if you're looking for that. It is an hours drive from airport, so, for us arriving at midnight, it was too far... We were very disappointed in the room. It smelled so terribly like mould that we ended up checking out early after two nights, instead of 4. Even when we left, the clothes we wore in that room smelled. Unfortunate! Wouldn't go back.

チェックインを担当してくれた男性スタッフの対応が丁寧でした。ホテルからウブド王宮まで徒歩20分、モンキーフォレストまでは40分くらいです。朝食は前日にフロントで選ぶスタイルで、ナシゴレン・ミーゴレン・卵料理・パンケーキから選べます。カットフルーツとジュースもあって美味しかったです。また泊まりたいです！

Номера в отеле не высыхают из-за влажности в туалете и душе, в котором деревянный пол, который не высыхает. Уборка слабая. Кресла на балконе были все в пыли. Дают всего 1 полотенце на человека, руки даже вытереть нечем. Очень скромный завтрак.

Schönes Hotel mit ruhiger Lage etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum von Ubud. Mit dem Roller ist es ca. 10 min bis in die Stadt und sehr einfach zu erreichen. Zimmer sind schön und sauber und Frühstück ist auch lecker.

Familie på 6 på ferie på Bali. Vi valgte mangosteen gr det var tæt på by, så vi forholdsvis let kunne komme frem og tilbage til Ubud centrum. Trafikken er forfærdelig og tidskrævende, derfor vigtigt for os ikke at komme for langt uden for byen. Da vi nærmer os området, har vores chauffør svært ved at finde stedet. Vi skal ned af en indkørsel, som ligner et forladt område. Vores chauffør går ud og råber om der er nogle der kan guide os vej til mangosteen, men svært at overdøve værktøj der larmer. Endelig råber en håndværker, at Mangosteen er lige her. Vi må holde os for ørerne grundet vinkelslibere håndværkerne bruger. Pigen i receptionen river en seddel frem, hvor der står, at de beklager, at de er i gang med en renovation af hotellet, hvor håndværkere arbejder fra klokken 9 morgen til klokken 17 aften. Vi valgte stedet for roen, da vi tidligere på ferien havde været i hektiske Jimberan. Vi forklarede pigen i receptionen, at vi gerne ville have vidst dette og at vi ikke var interessetet i stedet og larmen. Vi havde booket stedet igennem hotels, hvor der ikke stod noget om renovation. Pigen talte med manager der var uforstået med vores bekymring over for larmen. Vi ville naturligvis have pengene tilbage for de 2 nætter og pigen forklarede os, at de ville ringe eller skrive til os senere. Vi finder derfor et andet hotel inde i Ubud. Manager ringer os op og tilbyder hotel uden for Ubud der vil tage 30 min i bil hvilket vi takker nej til og fortæller de ik vil give penge tilbage

Mangosteen was lifesaver. After my other hotel cancelled my reservation one hour before checkin, I booked the Deluxe Twin Room for $31 for the night. The staff was kind and accommodating, they helped me with everything I needed and did so with such high spirits. I gave the room cleanliness a 3 bc the sheets were stained, although cleaned from the previous stay they were obviously still stained. Other than a few ants and one mosquito I have no complaints. I would def stay here again.

We were really happy with our stay at Mangosteen Ubud - it is a nice distance from downtown (too busy!), the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they make breakfast for you every morning. The room was great, bed was very comfortable, good quality mattress and pillows. Nice balcony that overlooks the pool. Great value! Would stay again. :)

Helt okej rum med mysig pool utanför, ligger bra till så länge man hyr moped. Lämnade in lite kläder för tvätt och det skulle inte vara några bekymmer. Får tillbaka mina kläder som för det första inte är rena, sedan är mib Filippa K T-shirt helt förstörd med massa gul färg på, detta var kunde de kompensera med 85000IDR vilket motsvarar ca 50kr, försökte då förklara att denna tröjan kostar 600kr men detta var inget som spelade någon roll, frukost på hotellet måste beställas på kvällen innan, där du då måste bestämma vad du ska äta och sedan vilken tid, trots denna bokning fick vi vänta 40 min på frukost, inte HELT nöjd.

Really nice little hotel, excellent service & spotless. Only slight downside is having to order breakfast the night before plus specify a time. But other than that no complaints. Hotel is a short walk in to main town of Ubud.

Ich war in der Villa untergebracht und war sehr zufrieden. Man hat viel Platz und der eigene Pool ist auch ausreichend. Der Service ist super da bei jeglichen Fragen und Angelegenheiten geholfen wird. Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas außerhalb aber da man sich wahrscheinlich eh einen Roller leiht ist das auch kein Problem mehr :)
