The Kusnadi is very well priced but you get what you pay for. We stayed in a room which had a recently renovated bathroom. I’m assuming the renovation will be great WHEN COMPLETED. In the bathroom there was no towel rail, no toilet roll holder, no mirror, and the shower screen was so short that half the floor in the room was drenched. We had to ask for a bamboo towel rail as the room didn’t originally even have one of those. The only power point in the main room was behind the tv. Little things I know, but something to keep in mind. Staff, grounds, pool and location all great

We have stayed at the Kusnadi twice now, and we will definitely be back. Our room was upgraded for us, because our original room was unsuitable. The staff were great organising this for us.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Kusnadi. Rooms are basic, but clean, with a comfortable bed, and good air conditioner. Pool is fantastic, and restaurant is unbelievably cheap, but great quality food.

We love the Kusnadi, So quiet and convenient. Traditional style, with squirrels and geckos roaming around. Close to the beach, shopping and other places to eat if you need a steak fix. Not usually a family hotel so the pool hasn't got a heap of kids running around, relaxing place to chill after a day out.

We booked 7 months in advance and had special needs of ground floor rooms due to medical reasons. When we arrived all 3 rooms were on the second floor. I was lied to and told that they didn't receive our special requests from expedia. The very next day another staff member (the only helpful one) told us that they actually did receive the special request but had no ground floor rooms available.(They had plenty of time to advise us of this but failed too) This also turned out to be another lie as we pointed out that there were several empty ground floor rooms. After 9 days of our 15 day stay, and a lot of pressuring (and an injury) 2 ground floor rooms became available,. Guita was the only staff member that did anything to try and fix this issue for us and highly praise her for her efforts. Other small issues like coffee cups in room but no kettle, coffee, teabags, sugar, or milk? No plug in bathroom sink? No blankets on the beds or extra pillows in the cupboard, shampoo and body wash dispensers installed in bathrooms but left empty for our whole stay. Best part of our stay was the lovely guests that we met and the friendly atmosphere. For the same amount of money we have stayed at much nicer places. Wont be returning!

This place is awesome! It's so close to everything and is well priced. Massages are still 100000, drink specials are 2-4-1 the pool is beautiful and it is really relaxing. I love this place and would go back in a heart beat!

Good location
Very basic small resort. No kettle in the room which was a let down however you can hire one for 25000idr per day which is a rip off. Breakfast is again basic but good. Excellent location and very friendly staff. They also offered to store our bags whist on our trip to Lombok and Flores for over a week which was a bonus. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very pleased with everything. After walking around Legian, Seminyak and Kuta we were daily reminded how lucky we were with our location set up as a "beautiful peaceful island" in the middle of chaos. This hotel really represents this : beauty of the architecture and the gardens, kind staff, cleaniness and quietness. I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Anita

The staff are amazing especially Gita and Nik could not do more for us. The resteraunt and especially the bar were disappointing. Our first two days the fridge in bar was not working so we were given a glass of ice with the beer we ordered. The pool area is beautiful and our room was quite nice and cleaned beautifully every day

I found Kusnadi to be comfortable, lovely gardens, nice pool with a kiddy pool which is great for families, close to good places to eat and shop. The only thing that was not good was the breakfast but we just headed out for brekky.

The staff are friendly and helpful, which was useful when we had paid for breakfast via a reputable hotel booking site and their confirmation of booking email to the hotel failed to state this, therefore breakfast was not included. This is apparently a regular occurrence with this reputable booking site, and caused us great embarrassment, inconvenience and expense.The same booking site advised us to pay again for breakfast and they would reimburse us for the extra payment - lose: lose situation, when it means paying for breakfast twice, and only being reimbursed once! Thanks to the welcoming staff at the Kusnadi hotel, we will return there, but in future will book directly through them, as what they promise, they honour.

Just spent 2weeks at kusnadi hotel and was very impressed , great location , could walk to beach, shops and restaurants easily, great pool, dining eating area and good food. The staff were so friendly and helpful if you needed anything organised such as transport, would highly recommend kusnadi as a great value for money hotel.

Despite many shortcomings one of my favorites
Kusnadi is one of the very few options in the area that combines Balinese architecture with a lush garden and a romantic water drizzling pool. Due to its smallness and arrangement of superior rooms around half of the pool, it does become noisy at times if Australian party mood groups behave themselves ruthlessly. This lovely Balinese family owned hotel is strongly Australian dominated which may explain also that - in relation to what is offered in the rooms - it appears rooms are quite overprized. There is no phone, no hairdryer, no water heater nor coffee/tea making facilities. Room size is small and actually standard rooms are larger than superior rooms. Beds are squeaky and mattresses not very comfortable. There are no duvets provided, only a sheet. Those and towels are quite outdated, appear greyish and are sometimes stained. Bathrooms would need revamping. Access to the pool rooms is along a very narrow path and some steps. As pool chairs stand around checkins with luggage encounter some obstacles. Food options in the restaurant are delightful and fairly priced as is the happy hour. Breakfast choice is satisfying.

Staff friendly hotel very old
Staff were very friendly we were disappointed with the "suite" found it dark & linen was very discolored. The shower was a pipe in the wall with only cold water. There was also a hand held shower over the bath but the bathtub was not the best & you had to hold the shower to wash. The suite was up a lot of steep narrow steps. Breakfast was ok they did cook eggs to liking. We only stayed 1 night out of the 8 we booked!!
