We recently booked all three villas for our Ubud stay.First let’s start with the pros, of which there are many.
Our rooms were spotlessly clean on arrival and housekeeping was always done to a very high standard. The pool and gardens are so beautiful, it has a very calm relaxing feeling and the staff are cleaning grounds each morning by 7 am.
You have an incredible area to eat your breakfast in each morning, or just to chill in, it is a huge pergola space with lounges and we ordered in rather than going into Ubud for dinner.
The manager does at least 14 hour days so your belongings are always safe, when he leaves you have night security. They are all extremely friendly and trustworthy.
The largest of the three villas is probably the most dated and could do with some minor work on one of the walls.Huge comfortable bed, fabulous outdoor bathroom but shower definately lacks pressure actually it was pretty average in all the rooms .The other two villas were perfectly fine all round, geckos as roomies!
As for the location and surroundings, I chose it for the peacefulness and quiet which it certainly was, approx 15 to 20 minutes walk to Yoga barn. You are surrounded by rice paddies, unfortunately there is litter around which the villas can’t be responsible for. Once inside the villas you are in your own little bit of paradise and as we mostly used drivers we weren’t that bothered by it.
Perfect wonderful place for regular folks, maybe not for fuss pots though.
