Great location, clean and friendly.
Friendly staff, great location and our villa felt safe and was comfortable and clean. Loved that you could walk anywhere in Changu from here. Yes there were a couple of nights that were noisy (we spent a week there) but it was not unbearable and the “music” did stop around midnight. Would happily stay there next time.

The private villa was a quiet & comfortable treat for a weekend away with the partner. Gusti was lovely and very accommodating. Central location within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and shops.

Villa privada con piscina, un lujo.
Estuvimos tres noches en una villa privada con piscina. La relación calidad precio es excelente. Lugar muy tranquilo y muy bonito. Muy bien situado. Bien equipado, aire, ventilador, buena tv, nevera, servicio de té y café, buen colchón, bonitas piscinas, la privada y la del complejo. Se podrían mejorar algunas cosillas, como toalleros en el baño y el servicio de comidas, ya que en la información indica un horario y luego está cerrada la cocina.

Wonderful place and staff is amazing. Location is perfect. Beach is 15 minutes away and many restaurants near by. Food is great here too if you can’t be bothered risking your life walking down the road outside :) Only two comments. Beds are quite hard and there is a nightclub nearby which may disturb you if you are early in bed.

I did not know what to expect when I came to Bali . This was my first accomadation and it was my favorite part of staying in Canggu . Especially the male receptionist is super kind and makes you feel right at home . The Pool is very relaxing and the bungalows are beautiful . I would definitly come back to stay longer this time !

Schöner Bungalow und toller Hof mit Pool. Ruhige Anlage und trotzdem zentral mit vielen Cafes und Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für die ersten Tage unserer Reise war dies eine tolle Unterkunft. Nachts hört man die Tiere etwas laut, das ist allerdings fast überall auf der Insel so :)

The staff are the best, nothing is too much trouble and always a smiling face. We stayed in the villa with private pool and it was amazing. Clean, comfortable, beautiful bathroom. In the centre of Canguu, but down a quiet alley way, would highly recommend. Great breakfast too

This is a little oasis away from the hustle and scooter-infested streets of Canggu. Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc, and right next to a laundry, motorbike hire place, etc. But the place itself is calm and chilled, with a lovely pool (albeit small - only two people can really swim simultaneously) and shaded, pillowed verandas to shelter from the sun. Staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is good. The only real downside is that these traditional Balinese bungalows have zero noise insulation. At night, the nearby Deus ex Machina blasts out obnoxiously loud music until midnight, and you hear every frog, bird and raindrop. Definitely a problem for a light sleeper like me.

Had 5 nights in between villa bookings I originally booked a room with privat pool but changed to bungalow by shared pool Price was great and bungalows all traditional style Great air conditioning comfortable beds and food super cheap and delicious Beer in mind you are so close to bars and restaurants so a bit noisy up till midnight Great location

No air con provided and the mosquitoes were horrendous despite using mosquito net and following all the procedures as instructed. Our daughter has over 30 mosquito bites on her body. The one pedestal fan in the room was useless when the mosquito. Etc was closed- you were unable to feel any kind of breeze from it.

Nice place, but no air conditioning
Beautiful spot with lovely pool and great morning breakfast, easy walking distance to bars and beach. Room was clean and service was good, but be prepared that room is not fully enclosed and bathroom/shower is outdoors, so it is a bit like camping. Need to use net (which is provided) to protect against mosquitos while sleeping. Was too hot for us at night with no air conditioning and only the fan, thus didn’t get the best sleep.

This place was delightful. Only 8 bungalows in total which made it very intimate and quiet. The pool was always clean lovely Although could have had a few more sun loungers when everyone was accessing the pool. The room was great and the daily cleaning was always very thorough. The staff always smiling and happy. The breakfast was basic, but always fresh. The location in regards to.access.to many many eateries was ideal. However the proximity to a night club did cause concerns on some nights with loud music dominating. I wouldn't let this be a determining factor when rebooking as the overall value for.money was sensational.

Nette kleine Hotelanlage mit urigen Bambusbungalow
Aber Achtung, wer lärmempfindlich ist, der braucht dadurch Ohrenstöpsel oder lässt es lieber ganz bleiben. Für alle Anderen tut sich ein Kleinod mit dem Charm der 1950er Jahre auf. Landestypisch befindet sich Toilette und Bad mit Dusche im Freien. Vielleicht etwas ungewohnt, aber durchaus mit Flair. Durch die offene Bauweise sind die Doppelbetten mit Fliegengitter geschützt und natürlich gibt es statt Klimaanlage umweltfreundlich Ventilatoren. Also Mückenschutz nicht vergessen! Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight und bei den Auswahlmöglichkeiten findet jeder etwas für sich. Das Hotel organisiert vom Transfer über Scooter zum Ausleihen bis zu Ausflügen alles. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle die nicht auf Schickimicki oder Hotelbunker stehen und etwas Anderes wollen

Très bien situé à proximité du centre de Canggu, possibilité de se rendre à la plage et au restaurant à pied. Jolis bungalows avec salle de bain extérieure et bien équipés. Seul bémol, l’isolation phonique est très mauvaise et le quartier est très festif, la musique s’entend beaucoup mais la plupart des bars ferment à minuit. Piscine agréable au centre des bungalows.

die Anlage ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt, die Bungalows trotz enger Nachbarschaft ruhig, und idyllisch gebaut. Herausragend war, dass man das Frühstück auch als Roomservice auf die eigene Terrasse bringen lassen kann. Sehr klein und kuschelig, ein super freundliches Personal und nahe gelegen zu den Beaches und zu Restaurants und Geschäften , Motorbike Verleih.

The staff were extremely welcoming. The property was lovely and really clean. The breakfast and meals area was outstanding as was the room service. We ordered snacks to our rooms a couple of times. I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic location! Right off the main street of Canggu. Just a short walk to so many fantastic restaurants.

We loved Calmtree - it was such a relaxing place to stay, the staff were friendly and helpful and it is located in a fantastic position amongst great cafe, restaurants and shops yet feels removed from the hustle and bustle. It's also only a stroll to the beach.

Perfect stay! We stayed in a villa and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was close to everything we needed - great cafes nearby, easy for transport and a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Great 2 nights - staff helpful and gave great service. Bungalows suit couples small groups/families. Note: No A/C due to bungalow style but ceiling and floor fans available.

Close to the beach, (comfortable ten minute walk) and just off the Main Street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was generous, with good fresh food, well cooked and presented. The accomodation was clean and quiet. A wonderful retreat, the pool looked inviting. The decor was pure Balinese detail, delightful.

Die Angestellten sehr freundlich (besonders Gusti). Die kleine Anlage fast familiär geführt. Meinen Beobachtungen zufolge wird hier auf Ökologie geachtet. Nur einige Meter entfernt tobt das Leben, ein Lärm der vielen motorisierten Zweiräder. Viele junge Leute entdeckt man hier. Einige Hundert Meter entlang belebter Straßen kommt man zum Meer. Für Surfer gut geeignet, zum Schwimmen nicht. Aber Toben und Springen in den Wellen, die bis an den Strand reichen, ist möglich. Die Bungalows in The Calmtree sind schön, die Terrasse reizvoll. Umgeben fast wie vom Urwald ist man für sich und kann kaum zum Nachbar- Bungalow hinübersehen. Die Matratzen waren für mich gut. Wichtig: unbedingt Mückenschutzmittel mitnehmen. Die Betten sind mit Moskitonetze geschützt. Hier reiht sich Geschäft an Geschäft, Resto an Resto. Wer noch Ursprüngliches entdecken will, begibt sich auf Nebenstraßen in Richtung Kerobokan, wo man noch die Ruhe zwischen den Reisfeldern finden kann.
