Amazing B&B - with an Irish language bonus!
Michael was an amazing host - happy to chat with us and to recommend restaurants and pubs in town, but also happy to give us our space. I enjoyed the chance to use my cúpla focal to converse as Gaeilge. Great room and amazing breakfast.

This place was fantastic! Rustic but close to pubs and restaurants. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area and had some superb suggestions for local sights I would have not found otherwise. Super clean and very comfortable

What an amazing B&B the owners are so nice and the breakfast was just as amazing the bangers and bacon are so local they come from just a few farms away. I wish I would have booked another night.

Teach an Cheoil was an amazing stay and experience. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we were even invited to attend an Irish Music Trad Trail (pub hopping & music) in Ballycastle with the hosts who play several Irish instruments, teach Irish music and Irish language. They are the kind of people who change the world by bringing back and continuing Irish traditions. Teach an Cheoil is a serene beautiful place with a spacious room, large bathroom, great shower, and view of surrounding emerald fields full of sheep grazing. The sunsets over the ocean were gorgeous too! Breakfasts were home cooked and delicious. We had such a great experience at Teach an Cheoil. We will definitely be back but will stay longer next time! Mahalo Michéal!

The loveliest B&B in the area
Absolutely lovely, Michael was an excellent host and even drove us into town the next day and could recommend a good place to get food and a nice bar. The room was lovely, Enough space for 2 people, comfy beds and a clean bathroom. Breakfast was prepared with love and thoroughly enjoyed. All in all 10/10 would stay there again.

Propriété très proche de Ballycastle, mais en pleine campagne (du coup, très proche des particularités de la côte) - ça repose! - Hôte très attentif au bien-être de ses invités, mais liberté totale d'aller et venir of course.

Es ist alles sehr einfach, dafür ist der Preis eigentlich zu hoch. Die Region ist aber insgesamt sehr teuer, von daher passt es wieder. Die Gastgeber sind fantastisch. Wahnsinnig nett und ohne ihre tollen Tipps wären wir nur an den überlaufenen Touri Hot Spots gelandet

The accomodation felt absolutely nothing like the usual hotel accomodation (impersonal). It was set in beautiful surroundings and was a solely family run establishment. The said family were friendly and extremely helpful and I felt more like I was staying with my own family, only better! I would certainly highly recommend Teach an Cheoil to anyone wanting an extra special holiday experience.

Our host taught us so many interesting things about Irish culture, including music, history, and language. He was friendly and nice. The surroundings were amazing!!

This was a lovely hotel in a lovely location. Staff made wonderful breakfasts and were very helpful with local knowledge and services. Would highly recommend for a hotel in a nice quiet and scenic location. Thank you very much!

Ein herzliches Willkommen Die Famile war sehr hilfsbereit. Bei der Suche einer Werkstatt viel Zeit und Mühe investiert und mich sogar bis dorthin begleitet und mit dem Mechaniker besprochen. Die Umgebung war für mich, mit Hund reisend ideal, wir konnte ausgiebig an den Stränden und auf den Wiesen spazieren gehen. Gerne wieder

Clean but not comfy
Breakfast was poor with the only cereal being Rice Krispies and a choice of strawberry or apricot jam. In the fruit bowl there was one banana, one apple and two satsumas. The bedroom was cold and we had to ask for the heating to be put on and we also had to ask for some milk. There was only one hard backed chair so watching TV was from the bed and there was no communal lounge. On the positive side, the propietor was very welcoming and friendly.

Urlaub wie zu Hause
Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht im Teach an Cheoil B&B, aber es war ein super Aufenthalt in der Natur. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man braucht und Michael und seine Frau haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wir haben super Tipps für unsere Reise bekommen (Kinbane Castle rocks ;-)), die wir auch alle umgesetzt haben. Die Familie ist wirklich sehr sympathisch, bei Interesse kann man Musik- und Gälisch-Unterricht bei Ihnen nehmen oder in den selbst geschriebenen Romanen von Michael blättern. Wer in Ballycastle oder Umgebung Urlaub macht, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen....

The place to stay near Ballycastle!
This B&B was great - quiet location, but only 10 mins drive from central Ballycastle. Friendly, informative and helpful hosts, large room and ensuite, lovely breakfast. Lovely music at times from owners who play traditional Irish music. Would highly recommend this stay.

Great accommodation outside Ballycastle
Got to hear the children practicing their music which we very much enjoyed. Lovely family. Our room was nice with all the comforts a person could want. Very clean! Michael gave us a list if things to see on the way to our next stop. Very good, thorough list that gave us super photo ops. We would highly recommend their home.

すばらしい眺めのロケーション
夕焼けと朝焼けもすばらしく、きれいな部屋、大きいベットとシャワールーム、多くのDVD映画ソフト、美味しいアイリッシュブレックファースト、都会の喧噪を離れてたたずみたい方にはお勧めです。また宿泊費も安い!!オーナーも優しく気がつく方です。

Peaceful and friendly
Located in the countryside just outside Ballycastle, this was a great base to explore this part of the causeway coastline. Large, clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly owner full of tips. Very good value for money.

The host very nice and helpful but it was like staying at a friend house instead of a well run B&B. Grand father clock kept me up all night. Had to use a portable heater. I don't know why anyone else was impressed.

Everything was perfect, we hadn't been at a bed and breakfast we would have missed the bay which is just over the hill. Rooms were clean well-equipped. The beds were as good as any we slept in Ireland, but they could use new mattresses. It's in a great spot to launch your adventures in Northern Ireland.
