I liked the whole facility. I loved the gym!! I didn’t like how small the bathtub was and that the pool was closed.

The vtoiket didn't flush it was broken the curtains dirty n broken the rugs not been shampoo like in years cable was not working n pool was down for fix not working that was my whole idea of going on vacation to be able to swim

We were there on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. The staff were happy and kind to us and extra patient. It felt like family.

Good Stay
Hotel was clean and neat. Some signs of aging with the fixtures and decor but overall a good value for a nights stay. Service was great and efficient.

Cockroach. Broken bed, shower door and toilet.
My son and I were on a trip for a sports tournament. We dropped her belongings off and went to dinner. When we arrived back at the hotel we found a cockroach running all over the air conditioner, which had been turned on before we left. I called down and they moved our room at midnight. The next room we got had a broken, pull out, sofa, bed so I had to share my bed because it was so late and we had to wake up early in the morning for the tournament. In the morning we discovered that the shower door would not close so you had to take a shower with the door open about 8 inches because it would not go past that point. Then the toilet kept running and would only flush when I wanted to. The manager wanted to move us again and offered a One Night refund. We were staying two nights. After speaking with some of our team parents, they decided to move hotels. Some people were given a full refund based on what I was dealing with when they went to the manager to complain (mostly the cockroach), but I was given a one day refund and told by the manager, “I’m not refunding for things that are out of my control. If you want to dispute it, then dispute it.” Also, the internet was out the entire time so the tv’s did not work either.

This room was run down and dirty. The breakfast was good, and it was nice to have extra space. But I would not stay there again. The TVs did not work. The thermostat was falling off the wall.

Untrained Receptionist
I rented this hotel because it had a pool but it was closed. The breakfast and room was great. It new receptionist was terrible and was going to charge me for a room that was prepaid for. They need to train people better before they go on it alone.

Property was dated and rooms did not feel clean. Carpets and couches fraying and some pieces of furniture were broken. Rooms were very noisy - you can hear movement and conversations next door. They seem to be extremely understaffed, but the staff that we interacted with were kind and very helpful.

We have family in the area so selecting this hotel was one of convenience and consideration for future visits. Three things were a great disappointment. Work out room--only 1 piece of equipment out of 7 actually worked. Pool--this hotel was specifically booked because of the indoor pool but no indication prior to arrival indicated that the pool was closed. Breakfast area--the waffel iron did not work. If these problems are addressed, this hotel may be considered for future visits.

Our hotel room was ……. Well, in need of a good clean. It was nice having a pseudo kitchen but everything needed to be wiped and washed beforehand. The bathroom and kitchen floors, walls, and vents were pretty grungy. That being said, the area was super safe and the breakfast was pretty good. A big, huge thank you to the woman that handled the breakfast buffet - she was great!!!

Nice, comfy and spacious suite
We had a nice and comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the space in the suite was great. It was a plus to have two televisions. The fan over the bed was a bit noisy but it was nice to have it to keep the air circulating and added to nice comfy sleep. The only issue was a bug was in the kitchen sink.

Disappointed in Laurel MD Hotel
Indoor pool was closed with no date in future to be open. That information was not available on Hotels.com or on hotels website. The indoor pool was the primary reason I booked the hotel. I was visiting grandchildren and an indoor pool is a fun activity for them. A room card had to be inserted into a wall device to power ceiling fans and chandelier over small dining table. We were not aware of that and no mention was made of that. We notified the desk of the problem as we perceived. The head housekeeper came to our room the next day. The common areas were very clean and nice. The breakfast was acceptable.

Very convenient to highway. Welcoming attentive front desk staff. Quite spacious room, clean bathroom, spotless room. Breakfast included was sufficient.

I went to the front desk to request that my room be cleaned two days in a row and had no response for a week. I sent a message via the app and finally, my room was serviced. I'm not sure if it was a lack of staff or just poor communication, but for a week to go by without a response is just poor service.

Welcoming & Attentive Staff
My husband and I have stayed at the Homewood Suites, Laurel, MD, several times and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, responsive and kind. We plan to stay at Homewood Suites in Laurel, MD. again on our next trip.

Slow check-in, bed not made properly (um, the mattress cover does NOT go on top of the top sheet…). Stayed 3 nights and housekeeping never came, even after we stopped at the desk and asked for it. Breakfast looked so bad we skipped it. Would not stay here again.
