I stayed in the Bangkok Story at the Song Was Road on 2016 Songkran Long Holidays (Traditional Thai New Year Day). The Place was located in rich cultural district of Bangkok which was called Ta Lad Noi (Little Market). The hostel was easily reached by taxi or even walking from the Hua Lum Phong – The Bangkok's central train station. Once I reached the place the receptionist and staff welcomed me with warmth and smiles.
I was impressed by the atmosphere reflected from oriental vintage decoration of interior and the charm of Chino-Portugal architectures, which mostly surrounded the area.
View from the room's window was magnificent, I could see the golden Buddhist temple while relaxing on my bed in air conditioned room. The coffee corner and common facility were on the ground floor to served fresh coffee (traditional southeast asia drip coffee) to hostel’s guests and to local coffee connoisseur. At this place, I enjoyed sipping fresh coffee while talking to share experience with local people and new friends. The hostel offered free WiFi to the guest, so I could surf the internet to find touring information and to chat with my family and friends at home.
The hostel bath room was especially designed to be semi-outdoor. The shower stalls were built by reclaimed hard woods with Thai rural feeling. The hostel provided all guests with soothing camphor-menthol shower gel. While showering and look up, I could see the view of sky and tree leaves over clear roofing.
