Recommended base for exploring Bangkok
Really good hotel in a good location within Asok/Sukhumvit. Family room was 2 full size suites joined together which was beyond perfect for a family of 4. Reception and housekeeping staff were superb. Rooftop pool was a bonus.

Clean, comfortable room. Close to everything......
Hotel was easy to find, and close to the main drag. Check in was easy. Staff all spoke good enough English. Room itself was big, and clean. Pool on the roof seemed nice, and the water was clean to Western standards.

Communication could be better: no hint that there is an extra charge for a dog per night. Room spacious and nice, but not very well maintained: some power sockets had no power, bulbs were broken and telephone next to bed full of dust and not connected Staff very friendly, but not everybody really helpful

スターダード部屋を利用。70平米というスイート並みの広さなのに7,000円台で泊まれるという驚異。ひとりの旅行だったがスペースを持て余していた。 場所もスクンビット駅近くにあり、観光やショッピング遊びに困らない。近くに７イレブンもある。 スタッフも丁寧で好感がもてたし、屋上のプールも良い。室内は清潔で冷蔵庫やキッチン、電子レンジもある。 言えばベランダで吸うことを条件に喫煙部屋を案内してくれる。 難点はシャワーからお湯が出なかったことと、ホテル目の前を流れるドブが臭かったこと。 アメニティーに歯ブラシと髭剃りが無いので注意。

ホテル名はmercure（accor group)と他の方のレビューがありましたが、その通りです。 グランド　レジデンス　アソークからメルキュールに直さないと。通りから入ってグルリと回って手前の低いタワーがホテル棟で奥の高いタワーは長期のレジデンス棟です。低いタワーの地下にゲストパーキングが１０台分くらいあります。 そのすぐ表側がマッサージのヘルスランド　アソーク店です。 50平米のリビング付きのこじんまり部屋ですが、中は静かです。キッチン備品も揃っています。朝起きたらリビングのクーラーから下のコーヒーテーブル（電話機）周りにポタポタと水が溜まっていました。どうしてもクーラー関係はこうなります。チュックアウト時に指摘すると、すぐ言ってくださいと言ってくれたが、こちらは気ずかなかったのでしようがない。ガンガンに下げず２７度温度設定なので、ポタポタは通常はでないのですが。でもカビッている部屋ではありません。狭い20平米くらいだとどうしてもカビッてきます。50平米の部屋の良さです。リビングはハイパワーエアコンで寝室はパワーレスなタイプです。これは良いですね。清掃は良いです。１０年経っていると言われましたが、管理状態はとても良いので、定宿にします。エレベーターは日本語のアナウンスがでます。訛っていますが。バルコニーは鳩がいません。鳩の巣は汚いので作られると出られなくなります。タバコは吸わないので出ないですが、室外機がないタイプのバルコニーには比較的に鳩は巣を作らないのでしょう。

部屋は広く清潔で、洗濯機もあり滞在するのには、良いレジレンスです。ホテル前の道路は静かですがＢＴＳアソーク駅までは歩いて１０分程度、コンビニも駅近くの両側にあり便利です。

グランドメルキュールと同一ビルディングで同一レセプションと複雑である。理由を聞いたけれど明快な答えは無し。 3年ほど前にグランドメルキュールで予約宿泊したが当時に 比べ多少経年劣化したように感じる。しかしながら部屋は 十二分に広いし洗濯ルームもありサービスアパートとして コスパはとても良いと思う。ホテル前のどぶ川は何とかして ほしい。

ネット予約したホテル名と現地ホテル名が微妙に異なっていて、更に言えばgoogle mapの位置もズレていて、BTS駅付近の渋滞も相まってホテル探すのにドライバーと1時間以上悪戦苦闘して探しました。 それ以外は、値段の割りに清潔で、スイートルームにも泊まれたので、非常に良かったです。

Asokのエリアにあるホテルです。BTSのAsok駅より、歩いて１０分ぐらい。MRTのSukhumvit駅より、歩いて５分ぐらい。若干歩くけど、便利なロケーションです。ホテルは、部屋が奇麗・清潔で、アメニティも普通にそろっている。冷蔵庫も大きくて、キッチンもついていて、快適です。バンコクのホテルによくある、水の出具合が悪いといった、妙な問題はありません。また、屋上には、小さなプールがあって、なかなか快適。よかったです。 　ただ、ホテルの名前「グランド アソーク レジデンス スクンビット」で探すと、誰も知りません。実は、「グランド アソーク レジデンス スクンビット」＝「グランド メルキュール バンコク アソーク レジデンス」で、Sukhumvit Soi 19　にあるホテル。タクシーなどで探すときには、ご注意。

"Luxury" but some dirt is showing around the edges
The hotel is nice enough overall, although for the amount of money it costs, I expected it to be a bit nicer. We booked a king suite, and the first one they put us in smelled like smoke and was just not that inviting. We complained and they eventually moved us up one floor to a similar suite that was much more comfortable. Better lighting and no smoke smell. Other little things bothered us about the place, like the fact that although it is advertised as having a "dryer" there isn't one in the room. Also the men's sauna was broken. That's definitely something I wanted to use at a "luxury" hotel. But overall the staff was very nice and did a good job remedying our complaints. Next time I might just spend a bit more though and get a REALLY NICE hotel elsewhere.

Exceptional staff and very large suite
The staff's were super helpful. We need to urgently use printer, some banknotes, and taxi. They reacted quickly to our urgent request. Room service is great as well. I understand Thai and was pleased to hear staff's spoke politely to not only guests but also to each other. The atmosphere in lobby and room was relaxing. The room was large and well eqipped. We did not have breakfast here since there are many choices around. The only downside is the mold in the bathroom of room number 408. It's not so serious but this place will be perfect if they can get rid of it. We slept well on the comfortable bed. It's quiet at night even though so close to BTS. I am allergic to dust mite but did not have any symptom here, so the maid must have done a very well job!
