Old, dirty. they knocked at midnight to do housekeeping, what the...? Breakfast was good though and location was very accessible to shops and public transportation. Pool was okay, too.

The property was located within walking distance from the BTS and subway. The street it is on is also lined with restaurants and street vendors. What I didn't particularly enjoy was the breakfast. The eggs in particular were always very, very wet. The lobby also does not smell very nice and the hotel tries to compensate by having incense oils burning but it doesn't help. I was also in a room with an adjoining door which meant that I would hear all of the noises coming from the other room - music, TV, talking, laughing, etc. And lastly, the in-room wifi was horrible. Fortunately I had a dongle for my laptop that allowed me to use their broadband connection, but who expects to have to use that these days?

The low-cost rooms are very low. The rooms are of poor quality. The pool area is not well maintained and there are only 4 sun beds

Decent hotel, great price, close to action
Had a nice stay at Marvel hotel, located on Sukhumvit 22 where there is a nice laid back nightlife scene, several massage parlors (especially in the small street across from the hotel). Great price! Had two issues. One was with using the card to open my door. It would take 4 to 5 tries before my door would open. Front Dess send someone up to show me how to do it easier by holding the door firmly closed. Would have preferred change into a different room but whatever. Also, if you like to sleep in this may not be the hotel for you. There is a few roosters that making a bunch of noise from the time the sun comes up for a few hours.

Room are dirty especially bathroom. On top of that, one of the towel even has mysterious yellow spot mark on it. Too disgusting to use so I have to go out and buy a towel of my own. Cleanliness is a big issue here. Very disappointed. Beside that, tour group guests were quite loud at night but only up util around 2am.

The pictures are deceiving. The property was not as expected. We do not smoke and had selected non smoking through Expedia, but had still received a carpet smoking room, the carpets were dirty and the smell of smoke linguired. Staff were nice, but other than that the room was a disappointment, I’m glad we didn’t stay longer than the night.

pretty good
comfortable after being put in a smelly smoking room asked for change, this was resolved immidiately by very help full friendly staff. Breakfast a lot of choice however would be more enjoyable if food was warmer overall liked the whole package for price paid. About a 12 minute walk to BTS Asok and terminal 21 shopping (good)

The staff were very helpful and polite. We felt accommodated and at ease when in need of assistance or resources. Rooms are a bit old and the showers were not as clean as they could be.

Perfect Hotel on Sukhumvit in This Area
I've been here often and it's always a perfect experience. The buffet breakfast is great, and if you happen to like Indian food, you're in luck, as they randomly have a lot of Indian food items in addition to the regular breakfast buffet items. Highly recommended.

Dated but good location.
The hotel is located in a good location. Food, bars, and a nice mall is within walking distance. Service was excellent. The room was dated and smelled bad. But it was clean.....except the closet. The closet was dusty and smelly. I didn't hang my closthes in it. The bed was ok. When talking to locals, they all referred to the hotel as the "Indian" hotel. If you stay, you will soon realise why. I picked this hotel because it was very close to the businesses I wanted to visit. However I would not choose it again.

Good value hotel.
Good location: lots of bars, massage parlors, restaurants.12th floor room. Quiet. Had bathtub. No Wi-fi in room. Maintenance put router in room to get Wi-fi. Bed OK. Free water (2 bottles/day). Hot water not hot, only body tempearature: water cooled quickly when taking a bath. . Breakfast looked awful; never ate any of it, although other guests did. Only drank coffe (good) with cookies I bought outside the hotel. Very popular with Indians, based on how many there were at breakfast.

Book online and the hotel is half the price than direct booking. Everyone was polite and rooms were clean. Be prepared to take cold showers though, don’t think there is a hot water heater.

Bed Bugs! Woke up covered in bites.The place needs fumigation. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. Photos are from when the hotel was built and it doesn't appear to have been maintained since.

Nice hotel close to everything in town
Deluxe room was big with comfortable bed and desk. Bathroom was good size with both bathtub and shower. Wifi was good. No problem with it at all. Hotel's near to the bars and 24 hours shops such as 7-11, family mart and a small restaurant which is located just a cross the road from the hotel. Everything was great except that we were unable to adjust the air-con temperature in the room. It doesn't matter you adjust it to 25 degree or 35 degree, it's still same cold.

The marvel Hotel
The Hotel is in a great location, but beyond the entrance, it I see looking a bit dark and tired. The room needs updating and decoration, but is very comfortable and clean. My mai critiscm is that there is no air conditioning in the lifts or in the corridors to the rooms and although it is on in the room and set tom 1 degree, was not cold at all. I will Ben returning to the hotel 21 April for 4 nights.

I’ve made dozens of trips to Bangkok throughout the years and have been quite adventurous at staying in different hotels. This is one hotel I will not stay at again. The location is fairly far in from the main road and they don’t have a tuktuk service for guests (this is generally offered at many of the other hotels I’ve stayed at). The overall hotel was dated, bathrooms were small and worn out, and the breakfast unimpressive. Lastly, the WiFi service was unreliable and inconsistent. I’ve stayed at other nicer boutique hotels 30% cheaper than the rates at this hotel.
